Hi.
As previously stated to you by one of my colleagues in this thread, XDA Assist is not a general help desk area. As previously stated to you, questions such as this are best asked in this area:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
If you provide us the device name, we could guide you to the device specific forum. If you want to ask this keeping just the chipset in mind, ask over here:

Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA either for that device, so asking about it here is best,

[Completed] [Q] Help with KIngelon MKT5492 - cleaning out malware

Its been a while since I posted here Last device was a Samsung Note 10.1
I have just ordered a phone for my wife - KINGELON N9800 5.7" IPS MTK6592 8-Core Android 4.2.2 Phone 13MP CAM 2GB RAM 16GB ROM
Afterwards I read about the spyware/malware which has sometimes been found on these phones.
As I am totally out of touch with rom etc now and will take a long time to read through all the forums I'd like to ask how best to ensure that there is no dodgy installed software or backdoors in the OS?
Is it possible to root the phone and add a new ROM, and if so would that guarantee there is nothing nasty left lurking in the device?
TIA
Hi,
I can find nothing relevant on XDA for your device. You will need to ask for help here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
Thanks for the reply, I'll post in the other forum.

[Completed] [Q] Is there any clean rom for a mt6592 phone?

Hello,
Well i got this phone with a mt6592 processor that i bought but i got scammed (thought it was a real s5)
Anyway it is pretty fast but i hate the samsung launcher.
Is there any stock rom for a mt6592?
Hi,
You can ask for help in this section.... But I'd include your devices make and model number to.... There's more to a device than its chipset... And you need to flash things only made for your specific device.
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

[Completed] Request for porting

Can anyone port kitkat drivers from adreno205 to 203???pls help.
I have a galaxy core duos
All core users will be happy to see kitkat on core.
Hi,
I see you asked about this in your device section. You could try asking here too,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
But, XDA Assist is not the place for this. Xda Assist is here to help navigate the site, not for support. And you likely know your way around already.
Thank you for understanding, thread closed.
