This is my custom boot animation for Galaxy S2 running any Lollipop ROM. (Tested only on Resurrection 5.3.4).
This is my first attempt at it, it seems to work and looks relatively nice aswell.
Current install is trough CWM as flashable zip which installs it under /system/media/bootanimation.zip
Resolution: 480x800
zip size: 18.8MB
minimal animation length: 13s
Credits:
The animations are a custom mix of 2 different animations by medi-dadu @ DevianArt
Rigging mixing and other animation is done by me.

nice
looks good for me, but I think this boot animation doesn't need red ring.
BTW I think You should make some livewallpapers too and make booting animations from other valve games... With sounds maybe.

I am pretty sure the blue one alone has been done. I wanted to add a little personal taste to it =P
I'll look into boot animation sounds...
I have a few ideas for more =P.

Hey ratcom
Can't seem to get it working. I can't extract the zip in xp I get "This system cannot find the path specified" using winrar and using windows to unzip it asks me for a password.I tried installing it as a zip but, it gets stuck at the htc screen.

you dont unzip it! place on your memory card then restart your phone in recovery mode and flash it
got it working
i dont really like the notification pull down thing
As requested, tried it out, looks nice, no real issues.
I noticed it being slightly laggier than the stock/modoco rom but not by much.
Is it possible to put just the dock back? I'm a big fan of the style of the dock with the home screen indicator... just my personal preference
I made a nandroid backup but would be nice to have a undo update.zip

im stuck in a damn loop!
is it the sprint logo thing? that keeps looping
yeop.. i had to restore my nand..
oh i was going to say try taking your sd card out mine was doing the same thing did you get it fixed
This theme works great! and btw the fix for teh clock works too (in case you don't want your clock to be 100% transparent)

I noticed the exact opposite. My phone was SOOO much faster after the MoDaCo 1.1 ROM and it is even faster after applying this theme.
I cant thank you guys enough for the time and effort that goes int all this modding. This phone is finally becoming what we all new it could be!!
works fine for me. I enjoy this very much. thanks!
Is there a list of what is affected by this theme? I looked at the screen shots, but the only thing i noticed was different was the HTC Lockscreen.
on a side note, love the wallpaper you chose. I actually have, Danboard, as my backgrounds for chompSMS. Love that little guy.

Boot Screens Etc.........
Thanks to MadrauM and his awesome boot package I was inspired to make one of my own in an XDA flavour
Thanks also to samsamuel for his tutorial on splash screens

Boot Animations
Installation
The first splash has to be flashed to the device; follow these steps
1 - Unzip xdasplash.bmp.rar to a folder on your desktop
2 - Connect you phone via activesync and make sure battery is >50%
3 - Run the CustomRuu that was in the zip
4 - Follow the on screen instructions
Dont worry no data will be deleted from your device
The boot animation should be placed in your windows folder on device memory.
Rename to either "animated" or "LEO_animated"
(depends on device, check your windows folder to see which one you already have there)
The welcomehead is the same.
May need to be named either "welcomehead192" or "well"
I'm Happy to Inspire You , specially becouse your work is fantastic !
I've added cabed versions of welcome screen and animation.
Looks good...thanks bro.
Awesome Work
Hey man , this is really good ....
Suggestion : How about creating some more fluidy animations with XDA-devs logo ???

the animations are pretty basic because I figured our how to make them yesterday if anyone wants to contribute then feel free....

Hi Madraum,
With these cabs do we still have to flash anything or will they install
on opening the Cabs ? It's the first Welcomehead screen,I'm concerned about here
really,I've installed other animation screens before, but never the Welcomehead
with the Radio and ROM info...
Thanx
Nope this cabs are only for animation and welcome . As for splash you must go like flashing radio or rom( there is no other way) but don't worry nothing bad will happen. This image change only splash screen when you power on your pda and its compleatly safe
Cheers Bud,so nothing for it,but to give it a try I guess...
Yup
Hey MadrauM, I tried to reply to your message last night but the server was overloaded
Thanks for making the cabs.
I was going to do it myself but I see you've beaten me to it
Thanks very much man
@marc
I was a bit wary the first time I flashed one but once you get the first one out of the way its ok

the short answer is. I don't know....
welcomeheads and animations will be fine but the splash screen requires you to flash it to the device using the custom ruu.
ok ive just googled the milestone and its an android device so these are not compatible with your device.
these are for winmo only. sorry.....
shouldn't be hard for someone to make an android version though if you ask nicely
I see this made the portal
thanks!
if anyone knows who's responsible for the xda logos then let me know so they can be credited in the first post!
Hey Buddy, is This Work For all of Devices?
i Want to try On my redmi note 4....
Hello all, I'm more or less new to the forums and I just want to say thank you for all the great support and content! So here is me trying to "give back to the community"
"Important: As usual this boot animation zip is not flashable and must be pushed via ADB or copied to your SDcard and then moved to the correct system folders.
Instructions: Push or copy the file "bootanimation.zip" just as it is d/l'd to either
/system/customize/resource or /system/media on your phone."

I can't see the two images you have on your post.
I'm assuming your talking about the USA flag yes?
Also do you mean the CM7 logo, and if so, just the logo, or the cm7 text under it?
I think just the logo would look cleaner, yes/no?
Those are my banners not attachments lol
Yes I mean the united states flag
by cm7 I mean like a cyan colored flag with the cm7 logo instead of the android logo and maybe 'cm7' or 'cyangogenmod 7' under the 'android' or something, if you think you can make it look good that is
Again great animation and plz n thnx!

So if I read this correctly it requires a custom kernel? You can't just flash a normal stock kernel one?

nope you must have a custom kernel installed before flashing or it will not work.
how back to stock after flashing this?
can we increase the speed on these? and set them to loop?
Im using the green tabletroms, it is very slow and only spins around once.
I know it can be done, just havent had time to look into the desc.txt
I had the particle one on my Dellstreak7 and it was blazing fast
P-6210 custom kernels?
OK- I have used the search button, and searched the forums but I cannot find a custom kernel for the p6210 except for Garys. Are there any out there? Unfortunately Gary's breaks my Wi-Fi with the OMG Rom Final Release-

well you will have to install the kernel after a fresh install of stock firmware i know its a pain but its the best thing to do
Hey all,
Long story super-short, I decided to learn a bit of animation by making a toned-down version of the Marshmallow boot animation.
Credit to the boot logo athulele did for giving me a starting point with a boot logo.

Matching Animation that flows right from it:
I've just attached the combo flashible-zip, but if anyone wants just the boot image or just the animation, let me know and I can provide those.
Cheers!
Edit: The boot animation is a video, so will only work for devices running stock firmware. I'll work on getting a standard format version up for people running custom roms.
Flashed this via TWRP, the boot logo comes up fine. However, got nothing for the boot animation. Even tried extracting it and saving it to system/media, but no dice.

Hey, so sorry about that! the bootanimation is taking advantage of the stock firmware's ability to play video boot animations, instead of just the standard series-of-images. Forgot to put that in the original post. It's updated now with that info for anybody else, and next time I've got a bit of free time to work on it I'll see about getting a standard-style boot animation up for people running custom ROMS.

This is my first go at making a Bootanimation, and first attempt at a logo in a number of years. It's my understanding, however, that the file format is the same across 4.4.4 -5.X, so you should be okay. With the standard disclaimer that I'm not responsible if your device spontaneously develops consciousness & godlike powers, explodes, or just fails to work.
Further Gotcha is that I still haven't gotten around to making the standard-style, non-video bootanimation, so if you're not running the stock ROM you'll just get the boot image, and then nothing until the phone's booted. I got called away rather unexpectedly and don't have the tools/files with me to do the conversion to ASOP style for other ROMs with me; that'll be upcoming sometime late next week (I hope!)
Waiting this combo for custom ROM's

Great job! Looks really neat! Wanted to try something though, use the original Marshmallow animation in combination with yours as in when your M logos change to those tiny dots they transition to the original Marshmallow animation's dots instead cause they look slightly smoother, not that yours isn't.
Boot logo works fine but boot animation doesn't seem to work. Please provide the boot animation
Hi the above boot logo is available for moto g 3 but that I mean that awesome bootanimation yes which I saw just above is not available for g3 So I request you. Could you please port it for g3 and post in g3 apps and themes section. I would be very thankful.
