Hi all
i wrecked my OPO 2months ago and i saved enough money to get a new one
now i am unsure which model to go for
my previous was the 64gb sandstone black edition and it was perfect , albeit a dew software issues ,
but i am curious about the JBL edition , all i know is that it comes with JBL EARPPHONES and it comes with only 16gb of storage which is a big drawback , and only comes with color OS i think
still is it worth it? it is 10 USD cheaper compared to the 64gb model though
64gb better u can buy other better earphones
I agree. Just get the standard 64gb version, and buy yourself some Xiaomi Pistons or something.

I'm close to upgrading and undecided between these 2 devices. I'm currently on a Note 3. I would be limited to the 32 gb Note 5 due to cost. Without removable storage that's not much. The V10 has several features gone from the Note 5, like IR blaster, removable storage and removable battwry, but a slower processor. Any input to help me decide?
V10 is too big for me. I looked at one the other day and hated it in hand. But that is obviously a subjective thing.

Size doesn't bother me. And, both are running some good promotional gifts. V10 bought by 11-15 gets a 2nd battery, battery charger and 200gb micro sd.
The V10 doesn't have a notification light if that's important to you
Costco is also offering a $250 Costco card if you purchase a Note 5 and Samsung is giving you wireless charging plate, external battery/charger and really good headphones if you register for Samsung Pay. Along with the $300 Verizon is giving me for trading in a Blu smartphone I'm making out like a bandit

If I were in your situation with the storage I would go for the V10. The LG promo looks like it's something you need too. My friend has the V10 and loves it. I'm very happy with my Note 5 but I have the 64 gig model. As for the battery mine lasts plenty long for my use but that's me.
That's the funny part, I don't need 264gb of storage, the 64 will be enough, and I already have a 64gb card I can put in. If I do get the LG I'll probably sell the 200gb card.
Get a droid turbo 2 then.

Lg free 24" TV at best buy this week. If there were an easy way to do it I'd return the Note 5 and get the v10 in a heart beat.
V10 is ugly however...

I disagree. Have you seen the V10 in person? I think its the nicest Android phone I've seen in a while. The colors of the phones both look great. Its more like gun metal for the dark one and the white and gold looks really good too. LG made an awesome phone. I wish it was out before I bought the Note 5 =/.
I played with a V10 in store for 30+ minutes right after launch. I hated it. Way too big, felt horrible in hand.
So instead I picked up a droid turbo 2 for my other phone instead. Still ugly, but the size and battery are both better.
I don't get the V10 at all. But each to their own.

I ended up with the Note 5.
Hello,
I am going to buy a new smartphone soon and I only have £100 to spend on it. What I want from it is to have a big screen (Maybe 5"?) with a a quiet large battery so it would work a bit, maybe dual sim and to be able to root it easily and put custom Android on it such as CyanogenMod etc. The rest stuff like camera, NFC etc I don't really care about, The most important for me is the screen size and battery life and various modifications I can do with such smartphone. What do you guys think and what would you recommend to buy ? I have found Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337 16GB 13MP Unlocked from Hong Kong for a £100 on Ebay but I think that price for such device is suspicious, what do you people think about it ? The eBay item number is 111849677878.
Many Thanks !

A good phone for 100 quid is hard to find. They will start most likely around 200 quid. Try looking for the OnePlus One. If not new maybe used and it will save you some money. I see the OnePlus one starting at 200 quid atm.
Hi guys, I am sorry because this is probably 1828318th time someone asks this.
I have samsung galaxy s6, I love it. I could get this phone for 120-150 euros, is it worth ? It probably wouldn't be my primary phone, something to have in reserve but I would also use it, one of the reasons I would like to try it because on my sgs6 is first time I flashed rom, so I would also like to experiment with it.
Thank you
It's a great phone, hardware-wise it's perfect. Great chipset (cpu, gpu), 2gb of ram is enough, go for the 32gb version since it doesn't take a sd card. The camera is very good, the screen even better, and it's a nexus, so you have many people working on it. It's cheap and you can find replacement parts cheap and easily on eBay (screen, battery etc.).
If you're planning on buying from eBay (specifically those from honk kong) be careful, I bought 3 of them (1st motherboard broke on its own, didn't have backlight, 2nd came with a literally broken motherboard) because they were all broken or faulty. Suspicious things I found when I removed the back covers. The 3rd was finally good.
I bought 2 of them for 180 dollars [emoji14]

My phone is broken now .. I wanna buy a budget model ( around $100), I saw a phone called geotel A1 which is a rugged handset and the specs seems fit me and what is most important is the price is really low, does anyone know this phone? what about it ? Appreciate it.
Or do you guys have any recommendations ? Thanks!
I'm using this phone. Well can't expect much on this budget model. 8GB Internal Memory, 1GB RAM, can expand until 64GB SD card and is running on stock Android Nougat 7.0! So far I have no issue using this budget phone. I use it to track jogging, cycling beside this I use it for smartphone photography too!

I bought 50 pieces of this phone for my field technicians in my telecom company.
Here are my observations.
The phone is very good for the price. (around 65$)
The phone has a very clean rom, absoltuely no bloatwares at all. Android 7.0 has a bunch of cool options, gestures etc ...
It is pretty fast for a 1 Gb of RAM and there's space to install apps, despite the 8 Gb of ROM (4,2 Gb available) which is not fantastic but minimal.
Battery life for 3400mAh is pretty decent, that's promising for the future.
It is very tough too.
The cons are for me principally focused on 1 thing: the waterproof membrane on the mic and the earspeaker.
You need to drill the 2 membranes if you have sound troubles.
You can do this externally without disassembling the smartphone.
Last thing, you have to use the original USB DC cable. The original is bit longer than other micro USB cables.
Purchased one of these for use in the US. Hardware is solid and chunky with buttons which take a strong press but it is usable. Unfortunately my network (straighttalk/at&t) won't give it service! Same sim works fine in other phones.
Anybody have luck using this phone on At&t?
Probably sending it back if it is at all cost effective to do so.
Oops let me answer my own question... A little research shows that AT&T dropped 2G this year and does not support the 3G bands on this phone.
No wonder they are cheap!!
Avoid this phone in the US.

It is my personal opinion that 256GB is an overkill. 64GB and above should be good. I have been using mobiles in that capacity for quite sometime now and have never run out of space. But if you are an avid video/photo shooter then it may make sense.
Tempered Glass and Case for S9+ in India
I have booked for a S9+ and waiting to lay my hands on it. Any suggestions on the tempered glass and case for the same? Samsung website has listed some accessories (cases) for S9. But looking out for options. Thanks in advance.

On the contrary, I am interested in the 256gb S9+ only! As my 128gb sdcard is almost full with photos and videos, books and docs (work related stuff) and I can't use two sim slots along with the sdcard on my note 8 (which i really need to). I am a bit disappointed in samsung.. they didn't bring the higher memory note 8 to india!

Flipkart offered me a whopping 8.7k for a 2.5 year old oneplus x, with total savings of around 18k. Samsung exchange ain't available at my place. I'll have to stick with the 64gb version. Seems it won't be enough since my i7+ 128gb is almost out of space. Glad Samsung offers a card slot. Another reason is that the versions with higher storage are significantly faster. I've seen that in case of i7+ 128 and 256gb versions.

Great deal indeed.
For Samsung mobiles you get more exchange rates. I thought of exchanging my current S7. For S7 its 14220 off on exchange. To me, its not a good exchnage rate. Meanwhile, my brother needs a phone. S7 is still a great phone. So, I'm givin this to him. I'll get S9 plus and my brother will get S7. All happies
Flipkart's S9+ deal was too good to miss out. Put in my oneplus 3 for 13k. Paid 46k overall. Can't wait for this beautiful phone!
