Hello,
I installed the latest "nightlies" PAC ROM last night and it was working just fine until mid-morning today. Now every 5 seconds I get the following error message on my screen:
Unfortunately, System UI has stopped. Blame Tyler.
Does anybody know what can be done to fix this error? I really like the ROM and would hate to give up on it so quickly.
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had this happening on this rom for awhile. What fixed it for me was that Download Manager was frozen. Once I unfroze it, the message stopped popping up and everything worked as it should.
same problem with me and its irritating

Yeah I too am having wifi issues. I'll be connected to a network for a long time and then out of the blue it says "Authentication Issue" and I have to long-click+"connect" to get it to reconnect again.

I spend exactly the same, it's strange because in unofficiales cm12 never had problems with Wifi

Also, coming from daleski stock build do i have tout reflash gapps after dirty flash ?
Signal Issue + Battery issue
I'm having modem issues, no matter what I do. I was stock, with 44S. Unlocked bootloader, rooted and flashed CM12 + gapps. The cell signal is very weird, it works but drops from time to time. My BetterBatteryStats says "Unknown or No Signal" at 100% of the time. I've cleared cache, dalvik, Flashed 44S modem, reflash the whole rom, and nothing! Without airplane mode I got 200-329mA each 10 minutes, normally it is 10-14mA (with airplane mode). Anyone know what do? Any reply would be appreciated.

My findings so far besides the known bugs:
-Screen randomly wakes up while listening to Spotify.
-Screen brightness not very stable, used it in dimly lit room and it kept going brighter/darker.
Besides these I noticed that if you flash the rom with the gApps provided in the OP you will keep the original apps so now stuck with 2 browsers, original mssg app etc. Tried to reflash with Bpear but kept crashing, same for PA- google apps.

I did not have this problem but I did have to set the network prefference to 3G else I did not get a signal. Maybe that helps.

When I receive a call my screen stays black, and I have to unlock the screen to answer the call.
I flashed the rom after I wiped and cleared the caches...
Hope someone can help out, or maybe recognizes it as a bug.

you can also get an app called Cyandelta to install incremental updates of nightlies.
Is there any way to enable hot words when the screen is turned off in CM12 yet? If it's possible with a mod that would be ok I guess. Any help would be appreciated.

use it a little so it goes down from 100% and you will see some change!

Yes, I'm using the nightly from the 6th and also seeing this issue.

The nexus 5 also HAD this issue but I can't find much about that's newly posted. I would really really like to know how to fix it.
problems:
When booting up, if I unlock the phones lock(swipe gesture) before unlocking the SIM-lock by PIN-code I don't get the possibility to unlock the SIM.
Can't access diagostic mode via ADB. Works on LS build 12/30 thou.
Where to report them?

I'm on the latest leaked lollipop rom for s4 and upon reboot my gear 2 loses notification access. Has anyone else experienced this? Hard resets, factory resets and updates of both phone and gear don't seem to make a difference.

Have you tried going in Security/notification access and allowing gear manager ? I don't have lollipop but I just thought about this...
Yes, in the lollipop rom I'm using the notification access is under sounds and notifications, and it's enabled, until I reboot. Then it loses access.

Have you also tried wiping cache partition and Dalvik cache ?
Indeed, plenty of times,including full wipes of both phone and gear, to no avail. I'll keep trying out solutions and eventually I'll get one.

Well you seem to know what you are talking about so I would say that you ROM seems not to be compatible with the G2, I have no formal knowledge though
I'm beginning to suspect as much. I'll flash another version of LL at home later and see if it's the rom I'm using at the moment (which is giving me umpteen reboots and seems to act like a thermal power plant lol)
*update* flashed different kernel and even though the permission on reboot still occurs, I now get notifications, where as before I didn't,and my phone is cool. I'll post my findings when I flash a new rom.
Same issue here.
I9505 using leaked lollipop. Original Gear running latest OTA Tizen.
Disconnect reconnect and turning off blyeooth does not trigger the issues but full reboot does.
Have tried latest Gear Manager APK leaked from S6 but did not fix.
Hoping for fix soon as its very annoying
Yep, Im pretty much on the same boat as you, latest gear OTA, using latest lollipop leak also, with exactly the same gear manager and issue. I'll certainly keep at it and post a solution, if I find one, here.
By the way, is Svoice working on your gear?

Hello,
I flashed the last official lollipop touchwiz rom on my GT-I9505.
I have the same problem: After reboot the settings for notification access are lost, only the "glanceview mk" has access.
I have to reenable all other checkboxes (eg. "Tasker", "Tesla Unread",...) until next reboot...
Because I have no root, do you have other solutions?

same issue for me.
i noticed that happens after rooting my galaxy s4.
i tried reboot the phone before rooting and the permission for gear manager remain.
(sorry for the english)

It happened me the same on note 4 lollipop. I fixed it disabling talkback.Apk
Check what applications remain turn on in the notification access after reboot, once you know them disable them throw application manager, and after that turn on gear manager as notification.

So, I managed to get it working after much trial and error being a complete newbie to the process (some 4 hours or so of labouring to get it working heh..)
But the catch is, the only thing I can't seem to get working is gapps. I've tried a couple of random GApps sources so far, namely PA's Gapps and the CM 12.1 Gapps on the cyanogenmod wiki, both to no avail as they produced errors such as that google play services has stopped working. Google Maps is effectively my lifeline to getting home so I'll have to bring another device with me in the mean time, but I'd prefer my phone to be more than a slick business-only device!
Anybody else finding any luck in installing gapps?

Do you have any instructions on how to do this?
So far I've tried all of these (not in order) (in CWM recovery):
formatting /system, /data, and /cache,
clearing dalvik cache
wipe data/factory reset
... and flashing the ROM + GApps afterwards, but maybe I'm missing a step?
Which version is more stable for daily use; cm12 or cm12.1?

Camera FV-5 seems like the only app that can change saving destination of fotos and videos.

I forgot to switch my phone off during an exam and forgot about it in my pocket. Before the exam, the battery was fully charged, 100%. After the exam, when I took the phone out of my pocket, it was warm and the screen was already turned on (??) and the battery was at 80%. I went into the battery stats and it showed the screen had been on for 1 h and 40 mins. Wtf the screen had been on in my pocket for all that time killing battery! Not even sure what happened.. I mean did it keep unlocking itself in my pocket or something? Wat?

Hmmm, I have not experience any kind of issue like that or with battery. Maybe some app or indeed it was unlocking it self.

Well the battery was drained due to the screen being constantly on.. I don't have many apps installed atm.. this phone gets really slow AF if you download too much I should upgrade lol
Black Screen
When i have incoming call , my screen gone black and i cant see who call me and i cant answer them
works perfectly for me - no restarts, runs smoothly, battery life over 1 day without problems (surfing the internet, youtube and music player)
wifi not working after following installation instructions
I installed CM12.1 following the instructions posted here. This is not my first time (I did it with other phones) but this time I must have done something wrong. The wifi does not work and the phone restart every few minutes.
What can I do?
[Edit] looks like I forgot something, after all. I wiped all caches and system but forgot to wipe data. Probably something was wrong with some configuration. Now wifi is working and the phone is not restarting.
i like the rom very much and used 12.0 long time and before that CoolDevelopment's rom
but id like to install the official rom out of curiosity but the boot stops at the samsung logo flashing

Hello all. Since this is a new account I guess I cannot post under the development page. So my question is this (sorry if this has been asked before I search as much as I could). I installed this Echoe Rom about four days ago and works great but when someone tries to call me I recieve nothing, sometimes a Voice-mail but doesn't ring or get a notification. Rebooted and no go. I thought it was an issue with the cache/Davilk so I wiped and rebooted but still nothing. So I researched and some android users (pm another site) said you have to switch between Auto/LTE/4g and 3g/2g and back again....finally worked. But every time it reboots I have to do this and it's rather annoying because I get a random reboot everyday. If anyone knows a work around for this would greatly appreciate it because after a day of trying to fix it I'm stumped lol. Thx

I has this issue ... what fixed it for me was just making a backup with TitaniumBackup and doing a clean install of stock firmware, re-rooting and and flashing the rom and then wiping data in the Aroma installer... doing this gave me zero issues .

Do you have Lspeed installed by any chance? If so do you have improve call quality enabled? Disabling this fixed the issue for me so anyone who has this problem and enabled it, disable it and see if it fixes the problem.
