Available for free on Android market
Hi!
I have just released my application: 7leagues to Android App Strore and would very much appreciate your comments and suggestions.
Android app store url: https://market.android.com/details?id=hr.cloudwalk.crant
7leagues is about virtual objects traveling in the real world.
These objects are called CRANTS.
They travel using your mobile devices.
Detailed information:
CREATE
Create crants with unique names and original description and let them travel to random destinations.
Associate your crant with picture or make this picture be an essence of your crant.
Explain your crants, give them personality and motives, set them on a quest with a desired goal.
Steer them by limiting their movement to chosen direction.
Connect you Twitter and Facebook accounts and share the creation of a new crant with your followers and friends.
PICK UP
Pick up other player's crants around you that you like or find interesting, provocative, original, funny, etc.. and help them travel around the world.
When you pick up the crant leave a comment and/or picture taken on the spot. Think of these as entries in that crant's travel journal.
Owner will probably watch his progress and read those comments, look at pictures and learn something about a place he may never heard of before.
Or write something about yourself, tell a joke, share a thought...
WATCH
Watch unpredictable paths your crants take, learn interesting things about places they go or people that liked them enough to pick them up and helped them travel.
Check global toplist of most 'viral' crants and browse their paths, read their stories written in pickups.
I am dyslexic and currently doing a superreading course. One of the key parts of the course is training your brain to take in as many words as possible per glance. To do this, we have to do "eye hop" training, by reading text that has been fragmented into columns with only 2 words in each column. As you get better you start to add more and more words to each column.
There is a website here: http://www.superreading.com/hopify/ that converts normal text into this format. This has the obvious advantage of being able to combine the training with relevant reading (such as for my medical course)
I do most of my reading on my HTC Jetstream, and I was wondering if somebody could knock me up an app that I could highlight text and "share to" to reformat the text in this way. Ideally it would also retain rich text formatting, e.g. superscript so I can spot endnotes easier.
I have tried simply copy and pasting into the webpage on the browser, but as I said, it does not retain basic formatting, and I end up having to copy each section of a paper at a time so I dont miss the headings.
Thanks a lot

My friends and I have been using MyFitnessPal and other equivalent web sites to track our meals for a few months now. Most of these sites use a database of food items that have been submitted by users, and many times they're way off. I grew sick of having to look up food items online for accuracy, so I decided to write an Android app to make things easier.
Queue up my new (and first) Android application, "What's On Your Plate". It's a simple application that contains the USDA National Nutrient Database and all it's 7,906 items of goodness.
It allows you to:
Search for items by keywords.
Browse for items by category.
See detailed nutritional information for each item.
Choose a serving size, with custom units per item.
Save commonly used items to a list of favorites.
Share your selected item and serving size via email, Google Docs, or more.
Optionally display "net carbohydrates" rather than "carbohydrates".
I'm considering features such as listing the macro percentages within each food, and the ability to search for food items by percentages for when you're looking for something new to add to your next meal.
It's free of course, but there is a small AdMob ad at the bottom. Maybe it'll cover that $25 fee Google charges for posting on the market, but I doubt it haha.
Anyway, take a look, and shout at me if you like (or hate) it. Thanks!

v1.2
Updated the USDA Nutrient Database to Standard Release 24.
Added choline and vitamin D.
v1.3
Added an option to display "% Calories" rather than "% Daily Value"
Changed "Fat" from "Lipid_Tot" to the calculated total digestible fats.
Corrected the behaviour of the "back" button.
Corrected the Android Market developer link. (oops!)
The update is not showing as live on the Android Market just yet. It's acting screwy tonight.
v1.7
Rewritten from scratch to provide an ICS look and feel, with additional features, and an optional donation version for no ads.
Where is the app?
We've just published our Android app for the creation of flowcharts, floor plans, network layouts, mind maps and other diagram types on the Google Play Store.
Some selected app features are:
- Multi-page documents, document themes, dynamic grid, snap lines;
- A rich library of pre-set stencils which are the complex and interactive objects;
- An intellectual auto-routing layout mechanism for connectors that gets minimum intersections, no merger of parallel lines and bend shapes in a due manner;
- All actions and commands are performed with a single gesture: addition and duplication of a stencil, connecting diagram items, changing size, orientation and location;
- Compatibility with online, desktop and Windows Store product versions: a created diagram can viewed, edited and saved for further use on other platforms as well.
Grapholite Diagrams for Windows 8 is an acknowledged best-selling business application with an average rating of 4.5.The Android version has all the same advantages and is very promising.
It would be great to get feedback from the XDA community. Your rating on the Play Store would be cool as well.
Give it a try and let me know if you would like to get the full version!
Cheers,
Ekaterina
