Does anyone know how to exit the screen pinning mode on the one plus one.
I'm running the euphoria ROM.

A quick search using Google found this:

I had already done the quick search you are referring to. What you have posted is pretty much the first search result.
My question is specifically about one plus one as it doesn't have a native recents button.
I have also tried remapping buttons and that did not work either.
If someone who has a one plus one can let me know what they did to get out of pinning mode, that would be great.

I do have the OnePlus One, and it does have a native recent apps button, it's the left most hardware button. On custom ROMs it might be activated via a long-press on that button, or a long-press on the home button.

Sure but it still doesn't get you out of pinned lode.. And that's my question.

It should if you have your buttons set up so that the recent apps button is a short press. That's how you get out of pinned mode.

Hi!
Is there a "Recent Programs" widget so that they are always visible on the HomeScreen?
Does anyone know if u are able to reprogram the search button as multitasking? If not is anyone here capable and willing to reprogram it for some of us who I'll use it because I rarely touch the search button. Anyone else would like this except for me? Btw I'm running eagesblood, Thanks in advance
I second that request. That'd be way more useful than the search button
Do you mean the recently used/running task list? That's accessed by pressing home one the first home screen.

I would love this. Seem to remember CM7 having custom application launching for touch and hold search button so it might be a feature that just hasn't been implemented yet.
I have seen customizable keyboard modifications for devices with physical keyboards in order to remap some of the less useful keys to something worth while. When I have more time I may try to dig it up and see how complicated it is. Anyone care to tackle this? I probably don't have the knowledge to complete.

You can customize the home key in cm9 like you can customize the search key in cm7. You need to install Apex launcher. It have a lot of features you would like. This launcher do everything like cm7. Try it out.

Can you just remap it with Button remapper or Tasker?

Button remapper won't work because it doesn't remap the long press stuff like multitasking.

Is there a way to be able to set Google Now to open on a long press of the home button? When I do it, it gives me the option to hit the Google Now link but can't I set it like s voice was before? Thanks!

It should auto open if you long press the menu button.
You can do this under CM 10. I am not sure if you are rooted and interested in using that ROM though.

Download an app from the Play Store called Home2 Shortcut. This will allow you to change the double click of the home button to use Google Now, or any other application that you want instead of S Voice.
I do that with my un-rooted Galaxy S3 i535. It's fantastic, just beware because Google Now doesn't play nice with your bluetooth headset is all.

I do the same with apex launcher. Works great, and is quicker than double tapping the home button.

I use Nova Launcher as well and set the home button to launch google now.
On the google search bar or the google now bar. I can enter text but not able to use the enter key aka (search key) the text to search. Anyone have this issue as well?

I think I have a similar issue. I am able to search after a reboot but after a while it stops working. I think there is a problem with cached processes. Try going to settings > apps > cached processes and stopping the Google Search process. Things should start working. It's not an ideal fix though. Hopefully it's a fixable software bug. I've submitted a bug report to Google so maybe you should try as well?

Thanks for the reply. Your solution actually works and hopefully this gets fix.

No problem. As I said, it's not an ideal issue but neither is it a total deal breaker. I wouldn't RMA the phone for such I thing I don't think. It obviously seems like a software problem so I sent through a bug report using the feedback function on the phone itself. Maybe if it's a widespread thing Google can actually take an active look at it and release a fix. to my unqualified mind it seems like there is a problem putting apps into the cached process. I've noticed with more experimenting that the search function seems to stop only after swiping the app away from the multi tasking tray...Seems as though the system is having trouble storing Google Search in cached processes.
Of course, I am not a proper developer so I could be totally wrong.
I'm glad the temporary fix works for you also!
This is just a quick question for those that already have this tablet (still waiting on mine). I'm used to most android devices having a menu button that interacts with the given menu of a specific app. So given that this tablet doesn't have that, how do you pull up and nteract with in app menus now? I tried looking at video reviews and not one mentions anything about this.

Apps that have a menu will show the three dot menu overflow button.
Take a look at the pic in this article:

Long pressing the new multitasking button to the left of the home button will also bring up menus.
Thank you so much for the explanations!
