[Q] Accessing internal storage - XDA Assist

Dear XDA Developers
I have a serious problem which is that my ( HUAWEI Ascend G700 ) just hanged out and it cant completely boot android, and its stuck on boot screen. I've accessed the ANDROID Recovery System and i tried to wipe cache partition :victory: but it didn't work .
the problem is that i can't wipe data/factory reset because my phone is full of information i need in my daily and business life.
What i need is to access the internal storage of my device and take a backup of all the data there before wiping it.
i hope you can help me with this issue !
Thanks

one more thing
One more thing, for my PC it boots both windows and ubuntu linux if there is a need for some shell commands

(SOLVED) [Q] [HELP] Motorola NOOB! Mount point information for XT925?

Hi there, I seem to have messed up my mounting partitions while trying to deodex Stock JB Central Europe. I basically used xultimate to pull the files and deodex then tried using adb shell to mount the system partition and copy them over. After I rebooted the phone, it would get stuck on unlocked bootloader warning or on the motorola logo. I hard reset into recovery and restored a nandroid backup and once booted into android found so many folders under the Storage folder such as "asec", "obb", rfs0" and so on. Now, when I try to wipe dalvik-cache in recovery, i get the following error: "E: unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]". Also, when i try flashing custom rom's and reboot, it gets stuck on the unlocked bootloader warning and wont load - while in recovery after flashing, i also get another error something like this: "E: cant load /cache/recovery.log" or similar. I also sometimes have issues mounting system, cache partitions, data and internal storage, all depending on which custom recovery i am using. I read on another site that downgrading to ics might solve mounting problems so I forced a downgrade to ics but that didnt work either and am still on ics.
Is there a way to restore the partitions correctly or are they stuck this way? Would mounting and remounting solve this problem? Any help would be much appreciated and would very much appreciate it if someone could upload their mount point info so i could use to try and fix it.
Many thanks in advance.
EDIT: Managed to flash Slim Bean 4.3 Official using OUDHS recovery without wiping cache and dalvik-cache at first. After reboot, it would bootloop so went to recovery and wiped cache and dalvik-cache then it worked. Still no sd-ext and some apps can't write or backup to external memory such as Go Backup & Restore Pro so what remains is to mount/unmount the partitions correctly.

[Q] Galaxy SL I9003 - Data and Internal memory corrupted

Hi,
My Galaxy SL i9003 suddenly lost all my personal settings like contacts and data.
I flashed the stock rom to see if the issue is resolved. It didn't help. Resulted in a boot screen loop.
Flashed with Cyanogenmod 7.2 now the phone boots. But the data partition stays temporary, it clears on every boot.
When i try to use Clockworkmod to format data, it fails and internal memory isn't working either. I have seen few posts to overcome the internal memory failure. But none refer to corrupted data partition.
I think this is a hardware failure of data and internal memory and my phone is already out of warranty and i don't want to spend money on my already aged phone.
Is there a way i can force the system to mount data partition from sd card in cyanogenmod 7.2.
I tried mounting data after the system boots using terminal in my phone and phone crashed immediately. Tried mounting data/data partition alone, the phone does not crash but doesn't pick the data from the newly mounted data/data partition.
Is there a way i can mount data partition from sdcard, before the actual boot process begins
Thanks in advance
Bala.

[Q] Android Help!

i have a starmobile astra, same as the celkon a200, after rooting
i installed a new font using font changer in advanced mode, after booting
my phone stucked at logo, i tried formatting/wipingdata/factpry reset,
none these works..
i can't update rom, my default dir of sd is the internal not the mmc,
these are the item in recovery:
reboot system now
apply update from sdcard (w/c is the internal memory)
apply update from cache
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
backup user data
restore user data
how can i fix this? or there's any chance to fix this?
replies will be much appreciated..
maybe you can download a rom put in your SDcard .then select apply rom from sd.good luckļ¼
First of all, I think that is important to mention what is the recovery that you have.
When you are in recovery, you can not access the device via adb? If the answer is yes, you can push a ROM to your internal sd-card and flash it.

Bootloop - Fastboot access - no ADB - Keep data

I know, I've searched the forum already and am quite familiar with the tools and such, I just have some quick questions and I'll be on my may.
So I have a OPO which is stuck in a bootloop (Is able to boot successfully to Android but always reboots after a few seconds).
I just need to copy the data on it and I'll reinstall the device, I have fastboot access and can sideload anything. I already cleared the cache but didn't help.
So my thoughts are :
I do a factory reset from recovery, this should keep the internal memory (where the picture and photo's are stored) in tact, right ?
If this would not help, I'll sideload the signed system image and clear cache again to hopefully get a working system just to copy the files
Am I correct here ? (especially about keeping the internal memory when factory resetting it through standard recovery ? Thanks
Yes, factory reset doesn't format internal storage
