CyanDelta: "error during the execution of xdelta : stderr: killed" - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys,
I see a lot of you hailing CyanDelta as an essential app for CyanogenMod Nightly users. As someone who's been faithfully downloading the 200MB updates, I decided to take the plunge.
Upon downloading the "minified" ZIP, this happens:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Followed by:
I can confirm my network connection is perfectly fine, after performing a speed test and downloading Battlefield: Hardline just moments before. This is gonna be the third time I've tried this app, once on CM11, and now twice on CM12, all times with the same result.
I'd really like to cut down on the time it takes to update my phone each time. Thanks for all your help!

I am having that issue a lot too and not been able to download with Cyandelta last 2 days it gives the same
message to me all the time.
Been having a few more programs acting weird like Acdisplay with latest CM builds like getting off automatically
and starting to think if this has anything to do with that new lowmemory killer script they implemented lately

That might be it, but like I said in the OP, I've been experiencing this with KitKat (CM11) as well. :/

Any Luck with CyanDelta anyone?? I've been experiencing the same error for at least a month now on my Xperia L CM12.

Did it just start happening to you? If not, when did it start occurring?
As with my previous failed attempts, I've stopped using CyanDelta entirely. Too bad the issue still persists. :/

Recurrent Sign-in Error

Hey,
Does anyone keep getting Google sign-in errors on their Razr HD? It started a couple of weeks back, and now a few times every day, this pops up. Mainly when using Chrome, I think.
Any ideas what the cause could be?

can't see your screenshot, so don't know what your actual error is but I have never had any issues with google services.
Are you on stock firmware or custom i.e. CM, Slim etc..?

Hey,
I'll give it a go, but my icons aren't white as you can see in the screenshot. I am not actually losing connection to servers, just keep getting that stupid error message
Cheers,
Su
I'm getting that same exact error whenever I use Chrome. Hope someone can offer a solution to this. Not really a huge problem, but it is very annoying.
Jigz, are you on Chrome Beta by any chance? Perhaps that's the problem?
try to sign in another google account then switch back to the previous account this might help

[Q] [HELP] Error when checking for OTA update!

Whenever I go to Settings > About Phone > Sytem Updates , instead of checking for OTAs, it just throws up this error message.

Now, I know its not because of a custom kernel, because some guy just received the 4.4.3 OTA on the same kernel.
I have tried rebooting, only to realize that nothing happened
Anyone else facing this issue or knowing how to fix it?
I sometimes receive the same error on a locked bootloader. I think its just server overload issue or something like that from Moto's side.

Alright, its working fine now.
I believe it was something to do with my Motorola ID not being recognized.
I simply set it up again

HELP! Google Play Services drained 2GB in less than a day!

Google Play Services is killing my data plan. I did some research on the forums and I am assuming this is because I just installed CM and my nexus is trying to download the new 4.4.3 update. What should I do to make it stop? I Read that for some people checking the restrict background data box works but it doesnt for others. Also read about an app called DisableServices but also came across mixed results.
Can anybody help me?

I though this was fixed in their latest builds? Which build are you on?
I thought so too. But apparently is trying to download. I was on 4.4.2 and then installed cyanogenmod 11

Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
Go to System apps, google services and then disable "SystemUpdateService". This should fix it afaik,
Seems like the issue where the phone keeps downloading 4.4.3 over and over.

Wifi initialization time

Hi there guys(and girls if there is anyone over here)
Any ideas on how enter in this menu? ..done it in the past but it seems to fail doing this again:

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
To be fair I've done this in the past with CM11s now I'm on CM12, I'd like to find a way to reduce the initialization time(although in CM12 things are way better compared to cm11s. Cm11s vs my brothers Xiaomi Mi3 was well day vs night, mi3 was WAY faster, turning on wifi and boom ready to go - mine was turning on wifi wait a couple of seconds then another 2-3 and I'm good to go)

Random Restart and Finding the culprit

Hi Everyone,
From past few days, I was facing random restart of my device. Whether I am watching Netflix, facebook or simply joining a new Wifi network. Even it restarts at night when I am sleeping. It was 100% random.
So I wiped (data & System) the phone and started from scratch. It worked for a day without restarting but today I am facing same issue.
I wanted to know is there a way to know why the device is restarting. Any logs we can capture? Since it is totally random I don't think LogCat would be feasible.
Please advice.
Device: Oneplus 6/64GB
OOS 10.3.2
Hii. Did it resloved? I am facing the same issue.
Have you tried the latest oneplus 6 official beta to see if the same behavior exists on beta?
Remember, this will completely wipe your device.. [emoji2] Good luck!

No, I didnt tried to flash Beta.
It was working fine since I purchased the device (~ a year). Facing this issue since 2 weeks. Nothing major changed. Installed few non-play store apps here and there. Now all of them are uninstalled and still issue persists.
Is there any Solution? I am facing the same Problem with my OP6. Yesterday i tried a restart with the MSM Tool, and the i make a fresh install with Havoc. After 5 Hours i get reboots. It mostly appears when i plugged in the Power Cable, or touch longer on the black Screen.
Edith: For me i found a Solution. I flashed the blu_spark Custom Kernel. Now the past 5 Days no random Reboot!
