Hey everyone. I got my invisible shield yesterday. Full body coverage. Carphone Warehouse £17.99. Installed it yesterday. Pleased with results.
As you can see in the pictures, there are still water bubbles on the front screen protector, but they are still drying up.
Now I am rest assured my desire s will remain scratch-free!
Sorry for the poor quality, shot on a 3mp tg01 camera.
Any questions, request more pictures, and I will be glad to answer!

Hi! I always try and avoid cheap screen protectors because they get scratched easily and they make the screen much more reflective. If you want a quality protector I recommend the case mate or official HTC protector. For a case, there are loads avalable like Amazon etc!

I have tried an ebay anti glare screen protector branded "Screen Guard professional". These are the easiest I have tried to apply without bubbles but do give the screen a rather unattractive grainy effect where white areas are viewed. I have gone back and ordered some clear ones from the same range.
Are the water bubbles already completely gone?
Nice, but I don't see a need for a full body. For me a screen protector is enough.

Hi mate, most of the tiny micro bubbles have all gone now I just have a 3 bubbles left now, and they are steadily disappearing! I will post screenshots later to update it
I recommend it greatly if you want to keep your desire s scratch free

Thanks, I was also thinking about getting one, nice to know that the bubbles actually go away. I was a bit wurried that the bubbles would stay or leave small rings.
I've got a casemate can't fault it

Nope , it won't leave any residue when it comes off still recommend it !
Only thing though, when I went in holiday to Florida, the shield started to peel away abit. I'm guessing this is to do with the really hot weather though! Other than that the shield is great !

i had one of these on my previous phone, with resistive touch, the film was a little rubbery but wasn't a problem with a resistive... how is on a capacitive? Fingers are sliding well? One plus question, is oil-repellent for fingerprints? ty

How??
The screen protector doesn't even cover up the proximity sensor. There is a cut out for it...
It may be a ROM you are using with RC tweaks, they make the sensor less responsive

Hi guys, I have been getting some dust stuck in the crevice between the edge of the screen and the casing of the phone. It's quite a narrow space and I was wondering if you have any advice on how to get the dust out?
Thanks!

Get a regular white printing paper and stick it in between the edges. It works (yes, I'm not kidding!)

A thin toothpick is what I use.
The paper idea is good, but I've used an old toothbrush whenever necessary. Works well.

I do the paper idea as well LOL but I fold it first then use the folded side to run along the edges. That way the dirt gets in the pocket. X)

Thanks guys, I decided to try the printer paper method. Everything was going well until the edge of the piece of paper I was using broke off and got jammed in the space. Looks like I'll need to find the smallest needle I can get to get it out.

Hi.
So my phone managed to survive a sandstorm with only small scratch.
But i am wondering if i can somehow repair the damage.
If not, can i buy just front display or do i need full digitizer with all the sensors?

Been told this does a pretty good job: Displex Touch Screen Polish[/FONT]
Display screen & lcd display usually sold as an assembly pack for 110 to 130$.
Found a webstore that sells the screen only but seem to be out of stock. Believe it was Rounded.com
Yeah. I saw Rounded.com too. Well i might hold it scratched for a year (so scratches can build up) and then replace it. And components should be also cheaper.
Hello everyone who has a nexus 5 I was wondering if you Guys are experiencing creaking around the flash area of the phone. I also noticed a gap between the lens and the back plate and I wanted to know if this is just me or everyone.

When I opened the back cover I accidentally ripped up a foil like piece near the camera cutout. Does anyone have any clues to what that might be?
