Hello everyone. So i have the following problem. Right after i unlock my phone i have location service icon in my status bar. Probably it is also on when device is locked and in "deepsleep". I have this problem on different roms, different kernels after clean installs. I assume google play services use it and dont know how to disable it without harming anything important. Any suggestions how to fix this ?

Can anyone identify what Google means when they say that time specific backups are no longer supported in Google photos? I got this notification the other day but don't know what real-world ramifications this policy change has for me.
I really appreciate any guidance on this.
Thanks

Did you find actual new policy description? I can't seem to find what these "time-specific backups" were.
Hi.
Noob here.
Running RR rom and loving it.
Went to Privacy settings and found out there's an option to limit apps.
For example (see screenshot below).
My question is: should I even be touching this?
Thanks!

You can mess with it a bit in order to stop apps from running in the background, just don't touch system apps/services or you could really screw things up.
Hello, I don't know if its easy to do, and I assume no one did this or published this, but I would like my status bar, and phone in general to look more like older android versions(android 5 mostly), with the status bar something similar to this :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
From past experience I know its not that hard, and maybe I can even do it on my own, but if someone have something like that, or an easy way to do it, I'd like it please. Thanks for the help.
Hi to all
I'm not sure this is the right forum, maybe the off-topic section ?
And sorry for my english
I have a FRITZ.BOX 7530 with FTTC line
I have found in the device list some unknown Android device
someone has the same problem ?
I don't think there are other people that hack my WIFI, the password is very strength and nobody knows except me
Also, those devices are always Andorid-xxx, my personal device name -instead- have a full name (ie. POCO X3, MacBookPro, etc)
thanks!

Has anyone solved the Secure Folder problem, Where the Secure Folder display at the top of the screen.
Ever since Android 11 update it has been impossible to remove, I never use it or activate the program.
I can open the icon but no way to disable it, everything relating to the said app is grey out, cant stop it delite
in settings.. I was hoping by now somebody would have found a way to remove it
