Hey guys!
I flashed the L01 firmware on my L04, just 2 days before the beta was leaked, but with the russian ROM I can't update. Would someone be so kind to provide and upload me a CWM Backup of the EU L04 ROM? With that, I can flash over the modem etc. Also, it would help others , who are stuck now on L01/L04 Version (it behaves like it's both).

I'm bumping this to clarify:
Everybody who installed L01 on their devices can't go back to L04 , if no one provides a clean L04 CWM for them, so we can overwrite all partitions. Some can't be overwritten with fastboot ("command not allowed").

Nope, it doesn't work. Baseband gets stuck with L01. Tried many times.
Can somebody test it with the images on hihonor.com?
If they work , we can update again normally to EMUI 3.0, if it gets released finally.

Just saw it yesterday, but I need my phone till i write my finals,too. Good luck on yours, my friend! I hope these are the official EU-Versions of the L04! @thrpod
The EU ROM on http://www.hihonor.com/pages/support#?view=downloads is exactly the same as the "russian" ROM (same size, md5sum). So it's safe to say that there is no such thing as a Russian ROM and there is just one ROM for all L04 devices.

i've read many post but unfortunaly i didn't find a solution.
My mate 7 (MT7-L09) have many issues with GPS (i've to reboot to have GPS work).
So i want to downgrade to LP.
i've tested the rollback package from huawei's official site, but it failed always in 5% (force update with 3 buttons method, update.app in dload folder)
Have you got a simple solution ?
the only solution i've seen :
- unlock bootloader
- flash twrp recovery
- root MM
- flash a lollipop twrp backup (i've seen on another post xda)
but it's hard to do this ! and there are many risk ...
Did anyone succeed ? with a rollback package ?

the only method in this post (for the b571) needs to be root i search a "soft" method before to try unlock bootloader / recovery / root / reinstall twrp backup (i don't know if this method works ,too)

Yesterday I wanted to try again to root B560 and began to search for the update, but - nothing. I tried it via update app , HiCare app and HiSuite on PC. I don't get the update offered. (I also deleted data and cache of those apps)
I'm currently rooted, so I tried to unroot, install stock boot image and recovery .. but same problem: still not getting the update.
Now I'm wondering why this is happening .. I had that same case before (B192, rooted etc.) and I always got that update offered.
Does anyone have a solution for this ? ( Except the manually method via TWRP .. this was never working for me)

You need rollback package to get it back to normal.
Since your model is L29 & you are nougat.
Go to this site http://consumer.huawei.com/sg/support/products/downloads/detail/mate-8-sg.htm?id=91647
Download the file
Extract the update.app
Make a folder on your sdcard and name it as dload
put this update.app in that sdcard
now you do the dload method
you can do it two ways
one way is
the 3 finger rule while bootup
just press volume + volume - power button together and hold until you see EMUI verifying package
then release your fingers
it will rollback to marshmallow
now you have to update it to another stock firmware (marshmallow)
remember at this point it is in global firmware it might show build number as C900 or something.
you can check it in the settings - about -> build number
you have to then update it to your model firmware
L29C185BXX
I found the stock firmware from another thread for your model
This is L29C185B200
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1076/g104/v65326/f1/full/update.zip
once again
download the file,
extract the update.app &
then put the update.app in dload folder on your sdcard
and then do dload method.
second way of dload is
open dialer
type *#*#2846579#*#*
click on "software upgrade"
and then -> SDcard upgrade
follow the instructions on the screen
and it will finish the dload method in next few minutes.
That's it. now you will be on Stock ROM with fully functional OS.
after this you will either get OTA updates or you can download using HiCare
or you can download the stock firmware from another thread
or
you can use firmware finder to get stock firmware for your phone. Get the latest version.
If you finish all these steps then I will tell you how to get to nougat if you have any trouble

You are rooted & if I read correctly you also have TWRP installed.
If you are unlocked, rooted & have TWRP - then you can install custom roms.
but if you want stock roms, - you need Stock ROM, Stock Recovery, Locked bootloader.
First you need the rollback package from EMUI4.1 to EMI 4.0 for L29C432 is below

Rollback package for L29 to downgrade from EMUI 5.0 to EMUI 4.0 marshmallow is

So choose the right version based on the firmware you are having on your phone. If you have nougat choose the second link and if you have any other version then choose the first link.
Download the file, extract the update.app
then you have to do dload method
create a folder named dload and put update.app in sd card
then
go to dialer
press *#*#2846579#*#*
select
sdcard upgrade
and then say yes
that's it
you will come back to stock (global) version. build version will be C900BXX
now you need stock firmware for L29C432
you can download the stock firmware from here. Below tis the link for L29C432B180

Stock firmware for L29C432B192
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1076/g104/v63059/f1/full/update.zip
Here you have the option to either go for L29C432B180 or L29C432B192. (if you choose B192, then you will save time and reduce few steps, because you will get system update to B560 immediately once you change the region to Ireland in Hicare app)
do the dload method again
extract the file, put the file in dload folder in sdcard ,
either use dialer or use 3 button rule to finish the dload process
now you are on L29C432B180. / L29C432B192
From here you can use another dload method to go to B192 - > system update (OTA) -> B560 or B580
if you get a blank screen - > do factory reset
if you get "verification failed " in red color - > unlock bootloader again and proceed with the steps.
This rollback package will save you in case of any problems.
Once you go to nougat B560
you can update to Kangvip B577 - pre rooted rom - its awesome - Root stable , excellent battery lfie. - everything is working perfectly.
I will give you those steps and links if you succeed in getting to B560 after all these steps.
I am sorry that this is a very long post and many steps but I can assure you that it is worth.
Ultimately you will get to nougat & with full root using Kangvip B577.

Well nothing noticeable for me, but certainly no problems with battery life. I still easily get through a day with single full charge, without enabling any power saver modes.

The battery is pretty good and no noticeable difference between 390, 386 For me ?.

I am in the b387, I have not installed the b 390, basically because in the EVA-L09 you can not. My response to op was sarcasm

Arrghhh... Took the Huawei Rollback package, using 3 button : Now in C900B300.
But I can NOT install using 3 button method either B136 (MM) or B390 (MM). Update fails. Same error with TWRP.
Only B386 can install.
Neither can B136, B182, B383, B390 whatever method (3 buttons, TWRP 3.1.1-OpenKirin)

No ,the rollback Do not work at all times, and I mean download Android marshmallow 6 look here http://consumer.huawei.com/np/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=93652&key4=P9 because this update work by 3 Buttons I have tried a lot and this is the only one that works
without problems and then follow the explanation above
Don't forget install stock recovery using fastboot .

Create a file dload in SD card and move file Update.app in dload .
Use method 3 Buttons To install.
After that if you need update to nougat Use the method you explained.

I am using Honor 6x and rooted with TWRP recovery. I am on B320 firmware and model number is BLN L22. Indian model. Recently i got some issues in rom and decided to revert to fully stock unrooted.
So i have download B320 update.zip full firmware. About 1.6 GB. My question is how to flash it ? I need to go back to fully stock with bootloader locked. No more root needed.
I have just flashed L22 stock recovery now. So i have stock recovery and update.zip file.
Kindly guide me how to flash it without bricking . I am very new to 6x.

They won't rollback like that ,u have to first rollback to emui 4.1 and then feom there go for latest emui. Safest method.

I did not downgrade to EMIUI 4.1. I simply flash the update.app (EMUI 5.0) via dload method and now everything fine. Just now updated latest B330 via OTA and success. No need to downgrade.

B340 is about camera performance improvement and system stability , It might be flashable using TWRP, you can try it.
official roll-out will take few weeks.

It is necessary, since that you wanna be rooted. You can choose between Magisk or SU root method; Magisk is better than SU to me, it allows much more than SU thanks to modules, a systemless root and many more. If you choose to root with magisk, then the "keep vendor partition mounted" option is a thing that you can ignore since that it won't be needed. In case you'll decide to root with SU, please follow steps as stated in OP from TWRP thread.

Hi..I am running currently on build B340,with twrp installed.factroy reset done,non Rooted. I am having issues with fingerprint scanner,so I want to go back completely to stock. can u guide me the steps that u did in the process..I am kind of noob in these things..thank u..and also can u upload the stock recovery files? Thank y for it time
