I was given a firmware update in RAR format instead of a ZIP. Problem is, how to flash this RARed ROM since I can't do this in recovery.

Please, if someone can provide the stock rom for this device, the one that I can flash using stock recovery, I would really highly appreciate...
My device is bricked, and fastboot is not working. I have tried all the drivers out there, but simply, once in bootloader mode, device is not accessible...ADB is wokring however....
Stock ROM is my only hope...

Update:
I managed to flash CWM using RKandroidtool, but I can not jump into recovery.It is pretty much stuck so if somebody could at least export kernel.img and system.img I would really appreciate ..or provide fool upgrade firmware img
Found stock rom on the vonino eu webpage.
Is the bootloader in the stock rom or do i have to find it somewhere else?
Is there a way to repartition the partition table with fastboot, not with adb?

If you wan't to see if the bootloader was included by the rom search for a boot.img file in the rom file.

Hello , I have been able to extract all the system and other files from .qsb file of lenovo vibe P1 (A42) for further development. If anyone is interested in further development can use all the files. I am trying to root this device too. I would be thankful If any one can use these files to help me root this device. Let me know if you need other stock files

No, you just flash it with the proper tool or through TWRP.
