Do you have the Stock ROM for GB 2.3.6 (SkyRocket) which i can flash using TWRP? My PC doesn't recognize my Skyrocket. The only way for me is to flash using TWRP but I can't find the GB ROM for it. There's a lot of ROM of GB but it is for ODIN (with extension .tar.md5) instead.

Hi, could you help me i have TWRP Custom recovery and cm12.1 android lollipop, i want to
Flash Stock Rom Android Marshmallow using TWRP is it possible using this method ,
my Device is Galaxy Tab S 8.4 wi-fi.
invalid zip
I am a mac user without access to a PC (no odin). I have TWRP recovery installed. I used android file transfer to move the stock firmware zip in the download section to the internal SD (root folder). I wiped the system and cache, then install zip - but it fails every time with "invalid zip file format". I have tried a half dozen other versions of the stock ROM from various sources and they all fail with the same error. ZIP signature verification is disabled. Just when I thought that i was doing something completely dumb and not flashing correctly at all - I tried re-flashing the lineageOS ROM i have and that worked fine. I've read a bit about unpacking and re-zipping these zips to get them to work, but that requires 7zip (which I don't have on mac). Help! am I doing something dumb or do I not have the correct zip files? I really need to get back to stock so I can activate my cellular service.

thanks my bro
You 'r' welcome....
Sorry,
where can i find Mobile Odin 3.57 version ?
Will this fix work for Htc Explorer???
Im having the worst trouble downloading cm10 through recovery on my tab 2. I come up with this status 7 as well.. i have confirmed root, supersu working, and cwm recovery 6 works.
when i downloaded the mobile odin PRO and open it it says my device is not compatible and asks if i want it to dump some sort of file to possibly make it work? i let that do its thing and after finished it still doesnt open.. What should my next step be?
Where can I get the update zip??
Getting short of memory with 1Gb internal Memory only? even tried 2.73Gb mod available but then you still run out of space as you can not move apps to the SD card?
Every time you need to flash a new ROM you need to revert back to the original storage by flashing and restoring... lengthy process.. here i put up a solution for all of you guys using the device or any of its clone. i have Qmobile A700 and tested this on Walton Primo N1 as well...
Do it ONCE and keeps same storage FOREVER. no matter how many ROM's you change or Flash via custom recovery.
Point to Note here is if you flash this method your current ROM will remain installed, only changes that will incur are Logo shall be replaced, partitions shall be modified and recovery will b replaced with twrp. If you need to keep current logo and recovery then replace the logo.bin and recovery.img with the ones you need to keep in the folder files_to_flashtool you can go to any ROM you want after this. Even when you are flashing a new ROM you don't need any zip to change storage, like it used to be with 2.73Gb Mod. just flash the ROM and you will have 2.49Gb Internal Storage in any rom. But Please take Backup of your Phone just in case anything goes wrong. i shall not be responsible for anything bad happening to your phone if you don't follow the method PROPERLY.
Method and Instructions.
1. Download the files from the Link given at the end.
2. Unzip the folder Tools.zip.
3. Unzip the Drivers Folder.
4. Install Drivers on your PC install ADB and fastboot drivers and device drivers as well.
5. Now Unzip SP Flash Tool 3.1352.01 (5.1352.01).rar and Files_to_FlashTool.zip
6. Turn off phone.
7. Pull out the battery
8. Run sp flash tool.
9. Load scatter file(MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc_PMT.txt) in the files_to_flastool folder. All items will b auto selected.
10. Click download
11. Put battery in the phone and connect cable.
12. The progress bar in sp flash tool will start and a green circle will pop up when done.:highfive:
After process is complete, disconnect the phone from the PC and reboot. Enjoy you have 2.49Gb internal Storage now.
and you will have twrp recovery installed as well after flashing just putting here so that if u want to take backup of current recovery or not.

video tutorial how to flash and the Work Around for if you get stuck on boot logo
Here is the video tutorial how to do it
http://nibs.tinytake.com/sf/OTcwMDFfNjUxODgy
Please note you may require a work around to get it working if you are on stock ROM. so please please keep backup of your ROM before following this method. i shall not be responsible for any loss of Data or damage to your device. …
After the process was finished i rebooted my phone on the stock ROM, it did not boot. so i figured out a workaround for stock ROM users, after the flash is complete when you are on stock ROM (or even any other custom ROM) and phone does not go beyond boot logo, reboot to recovery and restore your TWRP backup.... after the process is complete reboot and enjoy 2.49Gb internal storage or you can also flash this and then install any custom ROM over it. and still you will have 2.49 mod. and it will remain the same untill you restore stock ROM using SP Flash Tools.
Thanks and Enjoy :good::laugh:
Dont forget to hit thanks if i helped you.
Ran into this issue as I'm running a custom recovery and couldn't flash the update. Took the time to figure out how to do this properly as I couldn't find any existing set of instructions and I'm sure some people will want them.
WARNING: Flashing this update WILL reset root and the recovery partition. These steps restore both. Restoring custom recovery will require a PC with ADB installed as I was only able to find the raw .img file and not a flashable .zip.
1). Download full update zip by navigating to Settings > About tablet > System updates > Check full update (http://i.imgur.com/ozGBzKZ.png)
2). After update is finished downloading, navigate to /data/data/com.nvidia.ota/files/ROM (I used Root Explorer) and move the downloaded update to either your internal or external storage card. DO NOT TAP THE NOTIFICATION THAT SAYS TAP HERE TO INSTALL UPDATE!
3). Download flashable SuperSU.zip from http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
4). Download CWM recovery.img from http://forum.xda-developers.com/shi.../recovery-cwm-recovery-nvidia-shield-t2848064
5). Reboot recovery
6). Make a nandroid backup in recovery first before doing anything
7). Flash full update archive (DO NOT REBOOT AFTERWARDS)
8). Flash SuperSU archive (this will restore root)
9). Follow instructions at http://forum.xda-developers.com/shield-tablet/development/root-root-lollipop-t2945044 to use dd to restore custom recovery through adb shell.
10). Wipe cache/dalvik
11). Reboot!
In the off chance that you screw something up and need to force your tablet back into recovery mode manually, the button combo is Power + Volume Down. Also, I was able to dirty flash (not wipe data first) and everything seems to be working fine. As far as the update goes, audio/wifi is working without issue and if anything, the tablet seems more responsive (doesn't slow down/lock up as much). I literally pounded out these instructions after getting my tablet updated so I haven't had a chance to mess around with it much yet.
Hi,
I have a celkon campus one a354c mobile. I tried to flash the stock on it. Did the following steps.
1. Downloaded the stock ROM from the following link:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/8xhf0t3qv640je1/Celkon_A354C_300914.zip
2. Copied the zip file to phone external sdcard
3. Booted phone into recovery mode. (Power On + Up button).
4. Hit on the "Apply update from external card option"
5. Navigated to the above file, selected it.
The booting fails saying that signature verification failed.
What did I do wrong here?
That zip file is not intended flash via recovery.
You should have a pc, check in that file for instructions.
