Looks awsome! Thank you.

@maarten2001 Nice work I tried it even while I am on 4.4.2 Stock and I already knew that it would probably crash but I just wanted to see it. Nice that you made it with Material design:good: Only one thing, When you try to install after already downloading one app then it will also launch the apk from the previous downloaded app, not a big deal but is your app finding apk files in the specific directory and then executing it or? Just a question, curious
Psst, Dutch Highfive
Sadly for you I have adblock :l

Eleven is already included but is hidden under the name of Apollo. Browser and MMS are part of Android, not CyanogenMod. I may have to find a solution for this problem.

Thanks for clearing that out. I'll be hoping for the SMS someday?

CyanogenMod doesn't have a keyboard of its own. It has the AOSP keyboard, and Google Keyboard is based off of the AOSP keyboard.

you are wrong, cyanogenmod keyboard is based on aosp, but is not the same, and is not the same as google one. on CM keyboard for example you can use some symbols by long pressing a key in alphabetic mode (for example you can use "?" by long pressing the "m" key)

Nope, although it could be possible to modify the MMS app to render noseless smiley as well as pictures. But it's not doable for the Talk app, since it proprietary and not open source.
how do I install this? I flashed it through recovery and my ics keyboard still has noses.
Im running Leedroid v2.1.0 on htc one s 4.0.4
I've already started to look into doing this on JB (if I find the smileys string lol), they completely redone the keyboard. I'm sure that this won't work on JB, so don't flash it. I'll post a modified version when it's done.

[APP][4.0+] OmniSnitch - Seamless app switching

On the OmniROM website, I saw that the OmniSwitch feature would only work for Android 4.4.x.
Having a long history of backporting apps and other features, I decided to have a go at this too. So here it is, OmniSnitch, a completely backported version of OmniSwitch. This has been backported to ICS and with a few changes will work on HoneyComb too. But having 0.1% of the android market, I'm not going to be supporting it.

Known Bugs
Apps cannot be killed by swiping or by using the action buttons. This has to do with permissions. I have tried installing it as system app but still it seems to have issues. If anyone can make it work, do post here. However, this issue should not be there if it is compiled and installed along with a ROM. So its not really a bug but a limitation of android(for now).

Yes, killing apps don't work. Everything else works. That's a limitation for now. I'll try to find a reflection method to make it work.

I've tried reflection methods for ActivityManager.removeTask(...)
No luck. What happened was that I gave the app permissions (REMOVE_TASK) but it still said that the permission wasn't granted. Only apps signed with the ROM's signature (apparently) can use this removeTask method.
Do you have a different approach to reflection methods?
doesnt allow me to open FB on 4.4 KK Beanstalk on SPR GS3. everything else works.

not now, but it is currently in work. All MIUI-ROMS for Nexus 7 2013 have the same problems right now, there is no Theme.Manager added.

My apologies... I was doing too many things at once last night. Thanks again!
Looks like you'd have to update to 4.7.25. Seems like there isn't anyone working on the theme manager because every other phone has it. Weird and frustrating. Hope they figure it out soon. Thanks for making it easier for us to flash miui. Is there still remnants of Chinese left in the rom ? That is a bit annoying but can be overlooked.

AOSP or CM?
Great rom but i want to ask a few Questions
1. Is this rom AOSP or CM Based?
2. Can you change positions of recents and back button?
3. Will the rom be updated to android kitkat 4.4.4?
4.Will their be any new features? just curious
5.Will this rom eventually become a flashiable zip file?
Besides this i like the rom alot especially the way the interface looks.

How would you like to be first to try out this new theming app? How would you like to see a little color instead of stock white notifications?
I am looking for Nexus device owners to test Material Notifications. I have a Nexus 7 (2013) and I find that it runs perfectly on it, but before sharing it with the wider community, I would like to make sure it runs well on other Nexuses.
If your device is not a Nexus, or if you are using a custom rom, this probably won't work. If it does work, I would be glad to know.
Edit: Tested, works on official CM.
Whatever device you own, make sure you have a nandroid backup before using this app. If you get stuck in a bootloop or if your systemUI force closes, you can easily sort the problem by going into TWRP, mounting your system, opening the file explorer and deleting color.apk from system/vendor/overlay. Or you can use your nandroid.
Please note that I am not responsible if you brick your phone. Only test this app if you know what you are doing.
Thank you in advance for testing. I hope you will think it was worth your while! I'm looking forward to your feedback. Cheers!

Would app like this be legal on PlayStore? Google wants everybody to stick with white flat notifications
@StrangerWeather
A thought just came across my mind. Do you think it would be somehow possible to have different colours for each app? Maybe based on the action bar of these apps or maybe completely choosable for the user?

[APK][LOS14.1]Jelly Browser[DISCONTINUED]

Hi!
After LineageOS has been merged with Android-7.1.2_R8, new builds feature several changes, including an all-new browser called Jelly. It mainly targets low-end Android devices and replaces the older AOSP browser. I came to know about it out after compiling the new source for building a ROM. Hope it'll be helpful for the devices that are no longer officially supported due to the lack of maintainers.
Features:
^Chrome - like tabs in recents menu.
^More secure than AOSP based.
^Based on the system webview.
^New homepage - DuckDuckGo. - CHANGED
^New UI.
Updates:
+Fixed age-old orientation(screen rotation) bug
+Supports Marshmallow again
+Default homepage and search engine now changed to Google
+Smoother scrolling
+Faster than before
+Title in the address bar
+Fixed translations for some languages
+Still on version 1.0
+More updates coming along...
Requirements:
A phone with Marshmallow or any higher version of Android.
Instructions:
IF YOU'RE INSTALLING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME, simply install as you use to do.
IF ALREADY INSTALLED, uninstall and reinstall the latest build.

You're welcome.
Enjoy!
Nice browser, loads fast. Only issue is there isn't an exit button/link/etc. Besides that looks good.

I was wondering what Jelly looked like when I saw it in the LOS changelog, but my device got Gello instead of this (or I did something wrong). Gonna try this, thank you.

Yeah, Gello is a different browser. Although is it also designed for Qualcomm based devices for optimised performance, but it is not supposed to be in the new builds of LineageOS.
Though it wholly upon the maintainer of your device. If your maintainer decides to ship Gello, this will replace the new default browser Jelly.
no pinch to zoom?
Is this browser support flash player or already include flash player? I am very difficult to find a browser that supports flash player since android up to MM +
It's about time that a XDA member started compiling this for us. Thanks!
EDIT: Mind updating it to the latest build that fixed the orientation change?

Hi!
Yes, this browser has built-in support for flash. You may enjoy videos without installing any flash plugin.

Hi!
Thank you for the complement! Orientation is already fixed in this app. AFAIK, there's no problem regarding orientation on in the app my device. Even if it's there in the app on your device, please report back. I'll try to fix it. ☺
