I recently moved to Italy and saw a decent promotion with Samsung which offered a €200 rebate when buying a Note 4 or Note 4 edge if you have a Note I, II, III or S4. This seemed quite good as Amazon sold the Note for a decent price. All well and good until I'm trying to claim, the Note 4 I bought is Italian and so that is fine but the S4 I have is not being accepted as it is not Italian. I did read the terms and conditons earlier and I can't really see where it says that the original phone also had to be Italian but as I don't speak any Italian and can't ring Samsung up I'm a bit stuck. I was wondering if anybody would be able to PM an Italian IMEI for a Note I,III or III or an S4 that I could use for this, I know it's a bit of a cheeky request but it seems like the easiest way to get this done.

Sorry, but I had to close this thread because it is a really really bad idea for people to be giving up their IMEI numbers. The IMEI numbers can be used to black list a device and if Samsung is running a trade in promotion, they could end up blacklisting all the "traded in" devices and some one who helped you could end up with a nearly useless device.

a Greek friend will be staying some months in US. He can get at a good price either an iphone 5 or a Samsung Galaxy S II. This, with a contract of course, Verizon/T-Mobile/AT&T-something.
My pal was asking whether he could get a phone that could be unlocked for usage in Greece, so he can continue using the phone when back. Is it possible for either of these phones? Caveats?

if you want to use a us carrier phone unlocked, then you have to pay for a termination fee, so it not recommended.
Because the such phone are usually cdma, they are not compatible with gsm so it would be pretty useless to buy a gs2 or a ip5 with a us carrier.

so I have a business of buying and selling cell phones, this past weeks ive encounter some serious problems unlocking them, codes on ebay are not cheaper right now as they usually were a few weeks ago, i dont know if this a temporary situation on ebay or not, the thing is, I mainly buy samsungs models s2, s2 skyrocket, captivate, exhilarate, s3, nokia lumia 900, 620, 920, 820, htc windows 8x, and for some occasions iphone 4 and 4s, normally this codes were around $5-$8 each one, but now they cost like $25-$35 and unlocking them on my country are those same new prices, so my room for profit is decreasing a lot, ive been searching about some unlocking boxes like the octopus box for the samsungs models, but i cant seem to find any unlocking box for nokia, do you guys know any? are these boxes a real solution for my problem?, I still investigating how this boxes works, i dont have a clue but im willing to invest my time on it, any advice or any other post you guys can provide me will be much appreciatte.

OK my star n8000+ died, so I've been looking for a new phone, and I've been wanting to get the galaxy note 2, but my issue is I keep seeing things like bad ESN and clean ESN or its just completely FUBAR, and I'm limited on knowledge of sim cards and am not sure if CDMA (idk the frequency if that matters) is supported on the note 2 because I have AIO wireless. I also saw some things on 4G being blocked because of bad ESN? But I'm sure that was only because the note doesn't support boosts version of 4G .

Well, I have a Sprint Galaxy Note 2, I did the GSM Modification that is in this forum and works for me perfect in Colombia, but I dont like everytime that i install a new rom i have the same problem everytime that i install a new rom i need to put the APN configurations, also install a LK8 that works in Medellin, Colombia (If someone in Medellin, Colombia is trying to do this the LK8 Modem works i spent a lot of time trying to make this works) Also the configurations the signal is a little bit poor, In Colombia there is Operator called Virgin Mobile that is really cheaper and its really good, when i have my iPhone 4 I have signal everywhere, and im studying in a School really far away from the city and with my iPhone 4 I used to be with all circles of signal, also i had a Huawei (I dont remember which one) and Works 3G at my school, but with the GSM modification i had to change my carrier and i dont know if the adapter that i bought isnt i dont know, Good? i Bought it on AliExpress here tell if the product is good or not, But the signal is poor and the plug disconnect everytime i had to put a piece of paper with glue to make pressure to the plug trying to get the product not disconnected, so i talk with guy of my family who works on mobile repairment but i dont have enough time to talk and he said that if bought and put a Middle Cover of the Galaxy Note N7100 i will not having this problem anymore i bouth it yesterday a that will take i dont know 3 weeks to came to my house because is from China, Thats true about buying this can fix my problem? Got some mixed messages when researching this so figured best to ask here. I am currently in Canada and potentially looking to purchase both a Galaxy tablet (S7 FE most likely or S7+) and Galaxy Watch 4 but wanted to know whether there would be any complications when I return back to the UK in a few days in terms of device functionality. I have a S21 Ultra (on O2 in the UK) so obviously want it all devices (tablet/watch/phone) to link through and work together. Any advice would be awesome!
