has someone tried zte geek 975??

Blazingly fast phone, good but not perfect build quality, but gps slow to locate. For the price it gives you more than enough. I bought it to a friend and set it up, i was amazed. I personally use a S3 but this phone is way faster and lag free. The only downsides (except gps) are that i wasn't able to install a custom recovery and there is only 1 custom rom. But for the speed it has there is no need for any of these features.

I am having a few issues, and I was hoping to get some help from the XDA Community. 1) I cannot find the stock firmware for this phone anywhere. Huge problem because I can't root without it. 2) I can't find any support for rooting this phone. I mean not even Kingroot has a solution! I have searched methods for rooting from the OS (Marshmallow), the chipset (MT6580), and the phone itself (nothing available at all). So, any help with locating the firmware, and a means to root this phone would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
