Anyone know what these event wakelocks on cm12 are?
A quick search of this q&a section that you're posting in using "event0 wakelocks" as the search terms found this:

The search feature on XDA is very useful.

The search features on this site simply don't work correctly. I can search the entire forum for "USB Device Not Recognized" and not get any results. I can search threads or posts in the Captivate section and get every result for "recognized" which is not helpful at all. I'm guessing you could eliminate thousands of needless question posts within threads (frustrating developers) by actually having logical search features.

Yes, no always an easy job to search through a site with so many different forums, subforums, threads, etc.
Read here about xda search in general: [GUIDE] How To Use Search
And when xda forum/thread search index is currently rebuilding on the servers, you may better search xda site via Google search, e.g.:
Code:
site:xda-developers.com "what you want to search"
Thread closed and thank you !
I use Tapatalk on android for pretty much 90% of my forum usage.
When I subscribe to a thread via tapatalk, I do not see it on the desktop version of XDA?
And the desktop version only shows some of the forum topics I am subscribed too?
It would seem that what i am doing on/via Tapatalk is not been communicated correctly to the XDA desktop site?
Is this a tapatalk issue?
Hi,
Think of forum section subscriptions on Tapatalk or XDA app as "favorites" for that app only. The only way to have sections show up on browsers and all apps is to subscribe to them on a browser on the website. Then they will appear on the apps.
That's just how it's designed.
As far as thread subscriptions, they should show on the website or apps. Are you sure you are looking at the right part of the website? Clicking the "subscribed" tab on your browser only shows sections you are subscribed to and "unread" threads you are subscribed to. To see all your subscribed threads on the browser, you need to click "quick links" then "subscribed thresds".

Hello everybody,
I've been a lurking member for some time, though I also posted something now and then.
Now I'd like to contribute with reporting bugs of a custom ROM, but it looks like the "Bug Reports" section of any post just doesn't work. I click on "Bug Reports" and I can only see the header and the footer of the forum, along with Google ads. Other than that, the page I receive is without any content.
It happens with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 11, and with apparently any thread.
Google Chrome shows a long white rectangle where I could expect the content of the page, while the other browsers just don't show anything besides header, footer and Google ads.
What's wrong? Am I mistaking anything?
Cheers,
Michele
P.S. I hope that this area is ok for this kind of post about issues about XDA Forum itself. I really couldn't find a more appropriate area, but maybe there actually is one.

As @sd_shadow already suggested here:

No forum link, while viewing a threadCurrently, there is no way to tell which forum a thread is in while viewing it.
It would be very helpful to know which device or topic the thread is about.
Many OP's do not mention this in the thread,
because it is assumed the reader will know which forum the thread is in.

I would also prefer having a breadcrumb containing the forum path (forum, subforum, section) at the top of each thread in the search results and normal forum view.
Like it's done in long threads (with not than 1 page) after jump to another page - see my screenshots.
If you open a thread, on the first opened page, there is no information about the forum, subforum or section of it.
How to see the difference:
Open the xda app, go into any forum view (or do a search and check search results view), click on a long thread (with more than 2 page). Check the top of the thread on the current page. There is no forum information /no forum breadcrumb.
If you scroll to the bottom of the thread (in landscape mode you can change the page also at the top of the thread) and change the page to be displayed, then check the top of this page. There you will find the breadcrumb with forum information.
I agree this is an important feature we need to add. It's in line to be fixed
