As per the links in the below thread it looks like Aliexpress is the best bet for spare parts.

Ok, you need the actual contact rather than the button that's physically pressed?

correct
power button
My actual power button also came off the flex cable soldered to the mainboard when I replaced my broken display. If you want to turn it on just touch a piece of metal to the two solder joints and it will do the same thing as the button was designed to do
OnePlus won't sell me the part. I contacted vifocal.com and they said they do carry the part but it had not been added to their site yet and I should continue to check back. Let me know if you find one.

The tablet had a smashed screen, but was working fine. I replaced the digitizer and it didn't respond to touch. I thought I may have gotten a bad one, so I put another new screen on it with the same result. I tried restoring to factory but it didn't change.
Anybody know what went wrong?
did you connected properly the digitizer flex to the logic_board connector ? prehaps it doesn't make contact

I've replaced many digitizers, so, yes, I connected the cable to the mainboard. Reset to factory doesn't require the digitizer. Just the power and volume buttons.

I checked and rechecked the connection. Easy to slip it in and even has a line to show when to stop. The lock lever holds it tight.
Hi,
I recently purchased a replacement USB port part for my Nexus 5, as my original one had a bad connection on the port which made charging very tricky.
The new part.

I followed a Youtube guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqCEXEmcj4Y
I did as was instructed, the only thing being an issue was that fitting the ribbon back into this port was a little tricky. (see the circled image below).
Put the phone back together. Powering on I feel the phone vibrate as if its powering on, but there isnt anything on the screen.
I hold the power button down to turn it off, but I dont get any vibration indicating it has force powered off.
Ive opened it all up and checked the work ive done, but still the same issue.
I thought it may be the new part I put in, so I swapped it for the old one.
Im concerned now that the port that i had to fiddle with to connect may of been damaged (although i was very careful). Or is there a more simple explanation where I need to connect it to a computer in an attempt to bring it back to life?
FYI I have just tried the vol keys and i can hear the vol change sounds. I may take the opportunity to back things up now.
Is it possible to do a factory reset without seeing the screen? I have a lock pattern that I obviously cannot see now either.
All help appreciated.
Thanks
Hi. So my powerr button is damaged (broken connector tape) and i was wondering if there is any way to make one of the volume buttons to act as power button (so i can use them to turn on/off the phone not only to wake it).
EDIT: Or even better maybe you know where can i get a replacement so i can solder it myself.

Now app description says that it's to WAKE UP your phone not to turn it on. App screenshot indicates that too - "start volume up on boot up"

Great. I somehow failed on finding it on eBay. Thanks!
Hello friends,
I have a hardware related question to ask.
Is this a faulty power button??
I bought 3 of this phone, so I can compare between them.
One of them had the power button slightly sinking into the phone body.
(# 3 is the one with the lower level of the power button)

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
All 3 of them are functional "NOW", but I'm worried if the #3 button will further sink into the machine "in the future", and at that time the warrant might have expired, so I will have to pay for the "wear and tear".
If this is likely a possibility in the future, gonna request a new one exchange.
Thanks
#1 : blue
#2 : bronze
#3 : black
Mine is almost completely flat too, pretty much like your #3. Nothing to worry about I hope

Hi people, I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 (N8000), and since a few years ago is stored because from one day to another stopped working, when you turn on normally the screen is something like interference, has no movement, there is no sound of the system, just stays like that and occasionally restarts, but if Odin mode works "normally", I tried to flash the system in several ways and following various tutorials but nothing has worked yet. At some point it was taken to a "technician" to be checked, but the answer he gave was that the whole motherboard had to be replaced.
Does anyone know if this has a solution?

The eMMC needs to be replaced, I'm doing this as a professional, don't know if theres a store which can do this in your country.
Open the tab and see if the flex cable from the screen is still properly seated in the connector. If not, open the lock and reinsert the flex cable from the screen correctly and close the lock again.

You can see, that the download mode looks normal.
It's the typical picture, if theres no data readable from the param partition,
mostly defective eMMC.
