I converted mine XT1033 into GPE , and got a OTA notification of 4.4.4 update , but it wasn't downloading . So i read of manual update !
I downloaded the 4.4.4 update zip n then tried to flash it via custom recovery [ CWM ] But I'm failed in this method too . :-/
It displays " Error , this update is for umts_falcon , your device is XT1032 "
Can sum1 please help me out !
Now that the 5.0.1 update is out for 2013 MOTO G GPE(XT1032) . I have been trying to install it ... I tried both OTA and sideloading ... But ****ty Error : Signature verification failed wont just leave me . I had rooted and unlocked KK 4.4.4 so i thought may be it was due to tinkering. So i Flashed the Stock recovery KTU84P 3e... i flashed the stock rom (GPE_XT1032_KTU84P.M003_CFC.xml) than i relocked my device again .. i then tried sideloading once again but again that same E: signature verification error ... I have been doing nothing for the past two days but trying to update to Lollipop .. and now ihave become desperate ...PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP !!!!

thanks for trying to help .. but i already tried this .... not workin for me .. i have now even tried to install CM 12 and other roms .. .. even they are not installing

copy paste the file name into google search bar and u will find the file download link .. i have tried numerous tutorials ... 4.4.4 stock gpe installs without any problem ... but when it comes to sideloading or automatically updating via OTA ... error always pops up
Today my brazilian moto g ( 1st gen ) receive the update , i downloaded it , during the update the phone reboot without lollipop , i tried to flash 5.0 manualy , but it says "instalation aborted" and i cant install it
Note : 1 month ago i flashed brazilian soak test , and downgraded to lollipop ( with screen flick ) and now cant flash 5.0 anymore
I'm without root and using stock recovery !!
Hello guys (sorry for my english), i try to flash the supersu zip for root , when i restarted my phone i was stuck in unlock bootloader warning . I did flash sucessfully a custom rom , but i dont want to use a custom rom , i prefeer stock , so i ask you guys if i flash a mm stock ( my phone was in mm ) with different version of update , i get bricked ?
i lost my old moto g because of that , flash a kk in a lp official update , so i am realy worried. Pls Help

What version of SuperSU did you flash? Anything but 2.62-3 usually results in stuck on unlock bootloader warning.
unfortunately i do a tutorial of another site , in brazilian , and they didn't say that. I flashed a 2.46 version.
there are any solution for that or i have to use custom roms forever ?
(Also i didn't say but my moto G is the xt1543 version , brazil retail)

If you don't want to try 2.62-3, then you can stay with custom ROMs, but 2.62-3 is what you need to do. Many other threads in this forum indicate the same.
If you want stock ROM, flash the latest firmware for your phone from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/general/index-moto-g-factory-firmware-images-t3169639, using carefuly the steps from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/general/guide-fastboot-flashing-factory-t3187750 (you will loose data, backup all you need in TitaniumBackup, for example).
Then flash the TWRP recovery and flash the SuperSU version 2.62-3 for MM stock ROM.
Reconfigure and restore everything.
You will not brick the phone if you use the latest firmware and do a factory reset before flashing.

Onde last question , i receive the ota of mototolla for Android mm and another one after , if i flash the stock 6.0 , i dont hard brick my phone ?( witch i AM realy afraid to do)

Guys i let me explain my problem. I unlocked my BOOTLOADER of Moto g turbo edition and installed TWRP . And next I installed lineage (nougat) os . It ended with BOOTLOOP and I decided to bring back to stock. I tried to install marshmallow stock rom..I got an error pre flash validation..I got a solution from YouTube. And downgraded it. .after installing Stock ROM I had received an OTA UPDATE.. AFTER INSTALLING THAT THE DEVICE IS DEAD..:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Dont ever upadate dat last 12 mb security patch . it will break ur devices fully..u ll need blank flash file xt1557 .
