If you are on android 2.1 download an apk (app) from google called z4root, open it on your phone and click on root.
If you are using android 2.2 download a program on your computer called superoneclick root, turn USB debugging on (on your phone), connect your USB and click on root.

I have Samsung Galaxy Pocket (GT-s5300) and I have a bit problem with updating.
So my device says you have a new update:
When I press confirm it starts to load:
But then this appears:
I've tried to change region but no use:
Any help or at least response would be great.
Maybe your area 'Eastern Europe' is not affected by this update for now.
Did you try with your network connection?

I've only tried with wi-fi from local internet developer called TEO

hey guys,
i use pmp ultra rom v8.5 on my galaxy s duos...
but i m having some problems.....sometimes my apps doesnt open..whenever i click on the app a blank screen shows and then immediately moves to the homescreen....this mostly happens when after using my phone i lock it and aftr sometime start to use it....to make the apps work again i have to restart my phone.......this all keeps on going in a circle
plzz help me
if i posted it in wrong forum thenn plz guide me where should i post it

I think it's your ROM's fault. P.s try to post a new thread in questions and answers section in forum rather posting here where no one looks

This doesn't mean that there is an Update available for your Device, Samsung just wants you to register to inform you if there is any.
If Kies says that you have the latest firmware, thats the case.
But it's still strange that you can't register. Is your device rooted or in any other way modified?

This might be the reason why you can't register.
But, as I already said, there seems to be no update available for your device. If you want a new Android OS, install a custom ROM on your phone. I suppose for an update by Samsung you can wait forever

I searched my *** for a fix but still I cant find one

I already did,but OSX Does not support MTP what android uses.

I have a problem in upgrading my android version..
When i click on "check for new version" it scans for an upgrade info n after a few seconds it says scan upgrade info failed, try again later...
So for this problem... Suggest me some ways to treat this... Plz..

did you check Internet connection?
contact them (this is live chat option). Ask them in case there is an update. just to make sure too.

I searched via google and found that link. Try searching google for panasonic phone support. hope, you'll find it.
I am sure there is no update for Panasonic p11 because i myself use the phone!!

I'm unable to open and install the essential suite exe. That's found on website . If anyone can upload the drivers for win7 separate would be great.. cheers

What suite are you talking about? There is the Windows driver package on their site. Is that what you need?
Yes ,but for some reason I get invalid install with the suite on win7 so I'm needing the individual driver dll files .
You feel like trying Linux?

Hey got adb recognizing essential but I cannot get fastboot devices now... Only driver that I appear to need is the pci simple controller driver... ???. Cheers for any n all help .. much appreciated

That sounds like you need to update your adb/fastboot tools
Ok so here's there error log when I try install the essential suite , I receive invalid cab signature.. this is terribly frustrating ..if anyone can help I'd appreciate it greatly..

Nope adb is up to date. If I can get all the files from the suite in a rar I could manually install any needed drivers ??yes?

Well that is sorted now THANKS EVERYONE , but now I've busted my wifi and hotspot after rooting ..yay for me ..not so now my missus is looking at me with a scowl and wanting answers .. I'm on NMJ88C SOS SOS ..
