You might not know this but android has stopped supporting USB Mass Storage / UMS mode any any of the mobiles running android 4.0 or up
So unfortunately there is no way you can enable mass storage on your Asus Zenfone 5 .
Dont think this is a problem in this mobile........its just that now no new mobiles will support ums mode
Hope it helped you
Please press thanks button...It also helps me a lot :highfive:

[Q] Adventures in OTG trying to connect 2 devices

I have already hooked up mass storage to the nexus 4. I checked usb debugging and MTP on both devices also checked OTG box in synapses for the nexus 4. Next if possible I want to hook 2 devices up through an OTG power Y cable and push and pull files with ADB essentially taking out the PC for when I mess up and have to flash a new OS. (I have access to a PC just bored looking for a different way)
The first device is a rooted nexus 4.
ROM: dirty unicorns v9.1 android 5.0.2
Kernel version: 3.4.106-hells-doctor-FrAndroid
The second device is a Samsung galaxy tab pro
Stock android OS KitKat v4.4
When I think Samsung is the host the nexus 4 shows up as a keyboard and mouse. How can I make the Samsung recognize the nexus 4 as a device??
When I switch the cables around the Samsung notification shows a media device connected but I can't find it. The Nexus 4 notification shows USB Debugging with the little monster. This is a learning process for me so if I forgot any vital info please let me know so I can quickly update. Thanks for the help and guidance.

Mi A2 USB OTG gamepad/keyboard problem

Hello guys,
I'm using completely unmodified Vanila (factory) Android 10 and I can't make my USB OTG detect my gamepad or keyboard.
I tried the same USB OTG and the same device on Redmi Note 8 Pro with Vanila MIUI and both gamepads and keyboard works instantly.
On the other hand, USB flash and USB 3.0 hub seems to be working. I also have two USB OTG devices and both have the same issue. And yes, I tried to connect gamepad to USB hub and still it doesn't work.
Any ideas?
Oh, and I just checked with some USB OTG checker, gamepad is recongnized, but can't be used with Mi A2

Question Lenovo TB-J606F 210420, missing developer option after USB debug mode enabled

Lenovo TB-J606F 210420, missing developer option after USB debug mode enabled
I was updated least ROM to TB-J606F_S120144_210420_ROM.
But i found developer option was missed.
I wish to use fastboot command to change power on/off mode for my car.
BTW, Lenovo Pad does not have offline ROM for upgrade/download, included previous version... seems support not enough

did u try
setting ==> Move down to the System ==> About tablet ==> Find the Build number and tap on it several times till the "You are now a developer!" message appear.
Same version here. Dev options working just fine also with USB debug on.
