I updated to lollipop using ota.
Then rooted using cf auto root for xt1033.
Then installed modded google playstore [this may have modified core.jar or services .jar or whatever]
I wonder if i'll be able to install further update via ota.
If not how to restore to stock lollipop???/
And this modded play store worked??

well, i'm using the 4.4.4 GPE Rom but I think Google Dialer is not as pretty as the CM11 dialer. how can I replace that?
I've tried many ways, but without success.
- download lastest nightly, extracted Dialer.apk
method 1: isntalled as regular app.
method 2: put the apk in /system/app, rebooted, changed permissions, rebooted again.

I rooted my moto g running stock android L 5.0.2. Then i downloaded the
Xposed framework alpha for L, flashed the zip file and installed the apk
What happened is that the app showed something like" only zip method supported"
Why is this coming when i flashed the zip file too....
I wanted to customize the AOD so I downloaded the galaxyxmod module
and it required the 1.0.7 version and I wasn't able to install the version on my latest version(It gave me apk is corrupt) so I uninstalled the com.samsung.android.app.aodservice using adb to install the 1.07 version but now I can't install any version
any idea how to reinstall the stock aodservice
Is it possible to install gs9+ Samsung home experience on gs8+? I did it before using zipsigner but haven't been able to install the latest.
After Android Nougat Samsung make it impossible to install system apk files you need to patch it to make it work on your device.You need to wait until officially apps available on your device or someone port it.
After I installed CM 11 ROM; I wanted to install stock apps. But I couldn't. Then I downloaded SM-G318H firmware file and extracted it's apks and install them. But they didn't installed. When I searched on web, I couldn't find answer either. So I tried to deodex and install it.
But also couldn't. So can anyone tell me what to do (I wanted to install stock apps; Including TouchWiz and other important apps)
(The thing is I want to make firmware file like an original KitKat firmware)
