Unlock the boot loader on an S3 running ota 4.4.2 ? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hello All,
It's been a while since I've done the work on my original S3 -
I already have cyanogen mod on my daily driver and would like to install CM11 on a new board I picked up when purchasing a new ( used ) S3 from eBay.
Can I do this ? - did the OTA lock this up ?
thanks in advance for any advice -
The replacement I bought is running a stock ROM as follows:
SCH-I535 ( Verizon )

Unless you replace the motherboard on the new one your stuck with the locked bootloader on the OTA for 4.4.2 NE1

i think that is the korean version, at least it has the korean radio... anyways, try roms compatible with i9020, not the 4g version, you should be fine.
Take a look on this utility, it is able to install stock rom on Nexus S:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766475
You can also root-unroot, lock-unlock, come back to stock, flash custom rom etc.
With this utility you have two options: come back to stock (bootloader and rom) and later you can get the OTA or you can download the official rom and flash it with this tool, in my opinion this second method it's better because is faster and you will keep root; here you can find the stock images:

Sorry I think that yours is the Korean version; there isn't an official upgrade to JB and you have to wait until google will release it. To searching for other JB rom I can suggest to read this post:

Your Device is the korean version SHW-M200S. Use Nexus Root Toolkit and Rom and Kernel from my signature
hi i have M200 too, i root it using Nexus Root Tool Kit, and now i want to install custom rom on my phone like cm10, any tutorials or step by step guide? please..:fingers-crossed:

[Q] Canadian Galaxy SIII Kernel

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what my kernel version means so here it is:
3.0.31-2140838
[email protected] #1

I had my phone rooted for a while then I unrooted and flashed an official ROM, so is this an official kernel version or is it custom? Sorry I'm a noob LOL but hopefully this makes sense. And would it be the same as it was when I first got my phone or did it change when I rooted and unrooted my phone? If it has changed will it have any negative effects, or will it be fine?

The first thing you need to do is to upgrade to the latest twrp big part, then to get the latest CM11 Kit Kat rom. The latest upgrade was March 17,2014
