Hi is it possible to Protect a self created cab file - I mean a protect secure which not allows to extract, open or read the cab - which only allows to install?
Thanks so far
If you build it, they will rip.
I don't think it would really matter, after its installed, you could find the files.
There is no purpose to locking a cab really. Logically, if you lock it from being read, how will the PPC read it to copy the files? thats all a cab file does is extract files and copy them to a specific location on the PPC
You can use RAPI to create some Windows installer that will copy the files directly to the device...

Ok - sry.
I was just wondering, because there are so many cab files with no password or anything...like S2p,G-Alarm,etc..Everybody can rip their work in a few seconds..
A little ask of OPs of Q&A threads referencing something in Development -- In the lead post, would you put a link to the ROM/kernel/app thread in the Development section?
Often I find out about something I might want to flash from the Q&A thread. It would be nice to be able to just click and go there. Even people already using whatever the thread is about could more easily get updated versions, for example.
Good idea....
Please forgive my English is very bad, I want to publish the project area in 9300, it should be how to do
Hi,
You can post in any section now, even if you're under 10 posts. If you mean post in the development sections threads, you can and an automatic thread will be created in the Q&A section.
I would point you to your device section, but you've already been shown your section in your previous threads here.
Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.
Hello all...
I posted before but can't seem to find the post now. I have prime and love the launcher with my Note 4. After the recent update I cannot figure out how to place app icons on different pages. Can someone please explain step by step the new process?
Your original post can be found in the link below.

This forum is for people to post apps & games. It is not a Q&A forum.
Hint: If you click on your user name, then click on "Statistics", you will see a link to find all threads started by yourself. You can also do this via the XDA app by going to your profile, then selecting the option from the dropdown menu to find threads you've started. When a thread is moved by the moderating team, you will also receive a PM telling you that the thread has been moved.

In the forums for a device, there is a 'ROM' section, how do you get your rom there?
Hi!
You simply start a new thread from the development section. I strongly urge you to read the stickies in the development section on posting guidelines a well as XDA and the GPL. Also, you could look at some existing roms to see how they have laid out there threads.
Good luck!
