You have a nice 4G specific FAQ here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/rc-faq-frequently-questions-motorola-t2795336

Thanks I was hoping it was not bootloader locked.

This is not Q&A...

Yeah well no where else to ask about this particular model.. This is the only thread. And it seems all methods require unlocking through Motorola and my phone isn't eligible.

[Q] CDMA Moto G Forum/Thread

Is anyone planning on starting a forum for the CDMA version of the Moto G? I know most stuff is the same, but there are differences...
Cheers
Putting [Q] in front of a general section doesn't makes it correct. Use the Q&A section for posting questions.

Differences like the hardcore lock down on the bootloader on the Verizon Moto G. I wasn't expecting Fort Knox, and it really bummed me out >.< I was looking forward to CWM and running some Xposed modules on here.

yeah, same here Totes. I was really hoping for a bootloader unlock. I followed the steps on the Motorola web site to see if my XT1028 could be unlocked, but it cannot. I would be happy with just root for now...

Moto G 2015 CDMA variants unlocking bootloader and/or root

Hello, rather than continuing to post in other threads and going OT there, I though I would start a new thread here. I am getting my Moto G 2015 CMDA through Virgin Mobile in the mail soon. I am really hoping there is some way to achieve unlocked bootloader and root. Has anyone with the Sprint, US Cellular or Virgin Mobile CDMA variants been able to achieve either?
Alberto97 posted in the osprey CM Rom thread (post 361) that he thought it seems possible.
Anyone with information please post for me and other users, we would greatly appreciate it.

How can i root my moto g3 2015 marshmallow

I want to unlock bootloader n root my moto g3 2015 marshmallow. I checked other forum aswell didnt find the solution. Hope u can help me
Have to use Motorola's unlock code found from their unlock support page. If it's a carrier branded model you've got a 50/50 chance that they will allow it. Once unlocked, rooting should be no problem. If you're allowed to unlock.

This method has worked for everyone else, does it not work for you? If you don't want Xposed, just skip the last step...
It was on the first page of the Moto G 2015 general forum, and has been for a couple months... it is easy to find.

Can I do anything with my Verizon Note Pro SM-P905V

Sorry about cross posting. A mod can delete my other thread. I didn't realize there was a Q & A forum.
I'm just looking to see if there has been any development on rooting and flashing for this model.
From what I have read I cannot.
Just looking for some one to confirm that the bootloader is still blocking everything.
Carrier is Verizon
SM=P905V
Android 5.1.1
Stock tablet, never been hacked.
Thanks in advance. I'm needing to know this due to a dispute I am having with big V.
Anyone?????????

Question about Supra from Cricket/ATT

Hi I was curious if anyone else has the Supra from Cricket specifically that has been able to flash another stock firmware that is officially signed then unlock the bootloader or at least achieve a root and if so what problems did you have if any? Thanks I assume nobody has done it or I probably would have found out by now their is a post that needs to change the header as it lists Supra which led me to buy it only to find out motorola will not allow unlock of the bootloader even with the code that it provides it tells me device is ineligible although it has been paid for in full really pisses me off, guess I will try to sell it off or gift it so I can get the plus which is what I wanted or the power just as long as I can bootloader unlock and flash up as the devs work on it. For now using my g6 plus with omnirom til after christmas I reckon and can get one from swappa or bestbuy that is fully unlockable.
Wrong forum, this is a development forum! This belongs in Q&A.
