Hey guys,
Has anyone figured out how to get Vomer Amoled like RGB values for the OPO?
I've seen 240, 245, 255 RGB suggested but it wasn't as vibrant :/

Anyone know if its possible to increase the lcd brightness through root explorer?
I am accustom to the voodoo color and sharpness mod that i had control of on my cappy.
Id like to scorch my retina please.
Im assuming its a kernel code though, and if so im at a loss.
i just checked my htc sensation roted resouktation and it shows that my screen 240ppi rather then what it states on htc phone
Display Type S-LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
Size 540 x 960 pixels, 4.3 inches (~256 ppi pixel density)
source from http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_sensation-3875.php
and a screen shot of showing that it is running 540*960 at 240 ppi rather then 256
i need to know if this is only happening to me or your phone have the same ppi

i wonder why they had to lie about the ppi thing.
HTC have not listed the dpi on this phone as 256.... GSM arena can say what ever spec they want but it doesnt mean it true. The optimum dpi for that display when its sold may be 256 or may not but either way all HTC roms are set as 240..
all that prog does is change the entry in the build prop file

in the software you can actually change the resolution but i thought lets just stick with 240 thing.
The software is telling you dpi, not ppi. A dot can consists of more than 1 pixel, and if you set the dpi so that each pixel contains more than 1 dot... it can look weird.
Changing the dpi setting can increase/decrease the font and various graphics on screen. That's why many of the 5- or 7-inch tablets, although only have WVGA resolution, display more stuff on screen than many of the WVGA phones. They simply scale up the dpi setting. Of course setting it too high on a low ppi screen will make everything looks crappy.
Hi bros,
I was wondering last night if there is an app or something else, to change the contrast on i9023, to get the display closer to the i9020..
is there something?..
thanxs
Ive been spoiled by my previous Ipad, and the trinity kernel on my GNex that allowed me to adjust the color multipliers to have a perfect white balance on my screen. Now every time I use my galaxy tab I notice the very minor yellow/green tint. It makes the otherwise INCREDIBLE display much less enticing, So the question is, how can I adjust the color multipliers of the screen? I am rooted, and running ezyICS kernel, with my only complaint being the lack of color adjustment settings. Are there any kernels that support this for the p6800? Ezynow, do you have plans to implement this into your kernel at some point?
I've seen a few threads here about changing the screen color but they seem to just be about boosting saturation. Is there a way to make the screen less yellow? I have root so there might be a few more possibilities.
Hi!
I might ask a stupid question, but do you have nightlight always on?
Because if this is off, the display does not look yellow .
(Settings - Display - Nightlight)
I find in my case that the whites on my screen change hue depending on the picture I choose for my home page. The one I am currently using makes the whites appear more yellow while another one I like to use makes them look pure white. Try to change images on your home page and check your whites after each change to see.
Can't say I've ever noticed a yellow tint on whites with my screen.
Quick tip on adjusting screen saturation on rooted pixel
I always found stock pixel color saturation to be a bit washed out. I prefer the look of more saturated color palette. Even choosing "adaptive" color on display options is still not good enough for me. If you're rooted and want to increase...

He doesn't want to boost saturation. Just tweak white balance.
I'm using Color Changer Pro, mostly to adjust saturation, but also to balance whites. Without it the tint on my screen is pale yellowish

Yes, with the app cf.lumen you can really adjust the RGB value (I suggest lower green by -8-15%).
More details here.
