Can I remove the towelroot app after I have rooted, or does it need to stay to keep the ST rooted. My antivirus says it should go. What do you think ?
You can remove it. But you might want to back-up the apk for future purpose.

When it comes to killing bloat, you need to be a superuser( root privileges)
Download some bloat removing apps from playstore or install a root browser( es file explorer).it has option to remove system apps and other apps to.
Or just go to the bloat folder and delete them
hit thanks if I helped you,
don't say it.....

Delete the ones you know you can then freeze the ones your not sure about if they interfere with the system then just unfreeze them if they dont then your safe to delete them. Or install custom rom thats debloated

Apps like album, smart connect, movies, and almost all g-apps can be removed.
So almost all Sony apps and Google apps can be removed. But as said, do not uninstall if you clearly dunno what an app is...

There's no difference between them. they do the same. they restore your whole system like you first bought it

Because you clicked on full unroot so Root again like when you rooted it first time.
You have to unroot for next restart or temp unroot. But full unroot means full unroot. Good luck

You have to root again...
Repeat while process again for rooting (means what you had done to root your device first time)

Hi evryone i wanna ask something about the root , i wanna know if i root my tablet i will lose the warranty, and if someone know some program like freedom but without root cause i just want to root my shield tablet because of freedom (to buy coins or maps for unlock in games)
thanks
If you root whit towellrot there is no problem, because you don't have to unlock bootloader so your warranty is safe.

So you've used root checker and says your device is rooted? If so I believe you do have root access the app should work regardless of having root or not, have you got superuser installed?
root checker says I don't have root..but my Barclays app nd pingit app both says they don't work on rooted phones nd unable to use them....
so I really don't no if I do have root or not???
yea I got supersu installed

Have you bought the phone from the store, or second hand? If it's from a store, i don't think it's rooted.

You can use root checker app, and I believe you do have root have you got busybox installed? Also if you go into your settings on superuser there's a option to install into /system if you do this it should sort out your problem
There is nothing in there mate at all

Maybe you need to add up some more data...atleast the phone model or like how you did root?
