CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. Status: stable!!!!! Hope thats true!! Gonna flash it, the most sleek,smooth and elegant rom!!
Thankful to the new dev!!

I had 2 reboots using the keyboard and using the crhome app. And in Carbon site says it has 100% Portuguese translation, but Carbon Fibers is only in English.

Fails every time wifi is switched off, only works for a moment

I'm trying to make this ROM fail, and fortunately I am unable to do so until now.
The only thing I cannot do so far is to get a lock on the GPS, but I am on Manhattan, so it is hard even on Stock.
I cannot be more grateful with the OP for releasing this ROM.

also cm torch is useless app..

Tested on XT1022 . So far no issues stable...

-when applied a theme and again reverting back to default requires a reboot to take affect to see the changes!
All over the rom is stable! In my XT1022

thanks for making carbon rom for us....... but fc in carbon fibers-->statusbar-->general-->enable six bar signal and carbon fibers-->statusbar-->general-->signal status style seems not to working.

How to install :
Use TWRP. with new partition
Warning: Only use this recovery to flash New build with new partitio layout.0. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone, or you might experience boot and stability issues!
Wipe data and cache.
Format /system (only first time coning from older recovery)
Format /data and /data/media (only first time coning from older recovery)
Flash update*.zip.
Flash gapps*.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade the since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
Reboot phone.
After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.
Warning: Do not restore backup data of system apps!
If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.

Hi ze7zez,
you are right concerning the initial release, but take in considderation, that this is the initial release for the Carbon ROM based on the new partition structure As i tested the first builds from @educk i will surely test @K_TECH builds as soon as i find the time to see how the new build is working :good: The same is valid for the MoKee build, as far as i remember the early builds suffer from the low memory.

Sorry to hear that.
I understand the motive: Lollipop is "something New" and to work with it is more exciting then dealing with the old stuff.
But isn't ther nothing more to implement into KitKat?
And well. I noticed the really big battery drain in the ROM. Is it in real or it just "seems to me"?

I really value the ROM and rate it as The Best for i9003 EVER due to it's user-frendly customization! But battery drain is jast awful! (see att.)
U see Android System and Android OS consuming power extremely!
I hate LP and want to use KK further but the pity is that all devs rushed to the new OS and left 4.4.4 behind.

Have you checked out, which app / process keeps the phone awake ? You can use BBS or Wakelock-detector....
Depending on the responsible app, you can do sth. by yourself ...

were are aware, but this has got nothing to do with the build from source, Its just that you missed the shareable link.
You have updated it and the link is working. I will post my quick impressions after flashing it.
BTW if you have and can make some screenshots, make them available for first-time users as most isn't aware of the RR ROM.

The latest ROM that I made is bootlooped,so I think maybe need sometime to solve it..will try it this weekend..thank you for the screen shot ?

Nice to see new ROMs for the damn old Desire HD, maybe gonna give it a try soon.
Is this a "stable build", that means i could try to flash it and try some apps etc; its just my old device that isn't in use anymore.
Only things i need is wifi and no random reboots or so, and a good battery life would be nice, too.

Yes vendor/cm of RR source have problem. I delete vendor/cm of RR and move vendor/ of CM to folder build rom. Yes boot anim is CM. I use htc pico

Installation Notes
Its extremely important to backup your current OS prior to installing.
Clean flash instructions:
When coming from either stock or another custom ROM you must preform a clean install.
Boot into custom recovery
Select Wipe/Advanced wipe
Check system, data, dalvik cache and cache (if you select internal you will lose all internal data, so please make sure you have a back up)
Swipe to wipe
Go to install
Select ROM zip add and select your GApps zip
Swipe to flash
Reboot system when complete
Dirty flash instructions:
Boot into custom recovery
Go to Install
Select the updated zip
Swipe to flash
Reboot system when complete
Clear Cache & ART (optional)

Glaze OS is a free, open-source, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device. It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors.
Installation Instructions :
1. Download ROM and Copy it to your SD card or Internal Storage (Links in 2nd Post)
2. Reboot to Custom Recovery (Try RedWolf )
3. Take Backup of Existing ROM
4. Install ROM ZIP
5. Install GApps (ARM64 -> 7.1 -> Choose anyone pico or aroma)
6. Flash Latest Firmware (Optional)
7. Wipe Cache & Dalvik & Data (without Internal Storage)
8. Reboot
How to Enable FIngerprint Selfie :
You can follow this Guide to enable Fingerprint Selfie. For easy i made a ZIP file. Download it and flash from recovery (don't forget to wipe cache & dalvik) (download link in 2nd post)

Yes I know bro. I'm not releasing multiple roms for publicity or increase my thanks meter. I'm learning Android Development and Senior Developers adviced me to first compile multiple roms and gain some experience and then learn to fix bugs. Then learn to start everything from scratch. So only I'm compiling multiple roms. And I faced different problems, bugs, errors in each rom which taught me a lot.... Thanks for your advice and I will keep it in mind

Great ROM, but I get FC on com.android.phone and then signal lost and it's repeating after signal shown. Looking forward on this ROM, because it's looks great since moved from Tesla.
