Some weeks ago I've set a brief sound to notify me about full charged battery, using some strange app or module that I forgot.
Now I'm wondering how to replace this sound with another, without put hands on system files, permissions etc.
The problem is that I forgot the way I followed to set the notify sound.
Please forgive my poor English.

Hi,
So today as i was installing the exposed module i managed to soft brick my phone. I am really new to android as its my first decent phone, I used to own an apple device and through out the time i learnt to mod it in lots of way so i thought this may be simple too. Now I complete panic state. I bought an S4 GT-I9505 and after installing an exposed module my device wouldnt boot. So then i tried reflashing the firmware with odin but because that didnt work i went to cyanogen-mod and stated messing about and ended up installing this driver into my s4 (see image attached). Now my phone isnt even recognised be odin, i am so scared and so nervous. Would somebody please just be able to help me and tell my what i should do?
I want to learn the android system but this is just really freaking me out... I would be EXTREMELY grateful if someone could just tell me what to do to just be able to boot my phone up again

i tried to flash the echoe rom v 35.1 in my s4 i9500 so i entered into phills recovery mod and followed all the instruction u've mentiond in the thread but after installing zip file it takes long time to make progress then after a while it stop so i take off the battery for 1 min then tried ti swith on my s4 but it wont reboot please tell me what to do so i can turn it on

Hi guys
I just installed a custom rom called: gpe-rom-for-galaxy-s4-android-4-4-4
It all went well, but when I make a call. The screen just goes blank and I cannot access any of the call options during the call such as loud speaker, hang up.. I can only answer the call then it I can only go to the main home screen and thats it...
Any idea's? Or does someone have another stock android rom I can use for Samsung S4? GT-i9505

I have S4 with 4.4.2 Kitkat with NH8 update. This phone is in Philippines and locked to a local provider "Globe telecom"
I have tried Towelroot meethod as well as 7-8 other methods i found on the web to root this phone but nothing seems to work despite following every process to the tee multiple times.
My question - Post the NH8 update, is there any real possible genuine way of rooting the S4 or should i stop trying?

I have Cm11 on my Samsung GT-I9506 and I have the problem that I can't fool the system that i have stock rom installed. Even when I got the apk, it wouldn't install on CM11, only on stock rom. How could I solve it?

If it's an app made for Samsung, it likely depends on the touchwiz framework, so it'll never install on anything other than stock.
