i couldn't find anything about Lenovo Vibe X2 here on this forum so i was thinking maybe the admins will open a thread about this.
I just bought one today and it is stuck with Android 4.4.2 with no option to upgrade. Also full off bloatware that drain battery life.
Didn't find any resources to root it neither.

I bought this tablet from bestbuy and it became bricked. I accidentally downloaded an application that bricked my device. Does anyone know where I can download the stock rom or anything like that so I can load it up on my device?
Maybe even a website because I looked all around the internet for some sort of website with possibly a stock rom or something with no prevail. ANY HELP IS APPRICIATED!!!!!

Its been a while since I posted here Last device was a Samsung Note 10.1
I have just ordered a phone for my wife - KINGELON N9800 5.7" IPS MTK6592 8-Core Android 4.2.2 Phone 13MP CAM 2GB RAM 16GB ROM
Afterwards I read about the spyware/malware which has sometimes been found on these phones.
As I am totally out of touch with rom etc now and will take a long time to read through all the forums I'd like to ask how best to ensure that there is no dodgy installed software or backdoors in the OS?
Is it possible to root the phone and add a new ROM, and if so would that guarantee there is nothing nasty left lurking in the device?

I would like to know if Lenovo Vibe X2 supports OTG...
I know that officially it doesn't but is it possible after rooting it? Or is it hardware limited?
Maybe someone that has a rooted Vibe X2 can tell me?
