here's a modPack for Moto G 2013 GPE which adds several mods/tweaks to stock GPE 5.0.1 rom.

First item for who reflash modPack to change options.
Second item for who have Stock rooted ROM and flash modPack first time.
Third item for who have pure Stock ROM (without root) and flash modPack first time.
Use second or third items once.

as soon as kernel source is out, it will come too.
any way to make this work with the dark ui theme thats available for gpe 5.0.1? i flashed this and booted up and it works great. flashed the theme after and now when i press and hold the power button it reboots itself but i can turn the screen on and off. this mod is awesome otherwise. thank you

that because framework-res.apk was replaced so my added resources cannot be found (think of reboot icons).
anyway I won't port other themes/mods to be compatible with my modpack, you should ask the themer to theme my modded files.

how could you get classes.dex for android.policy.jar and framework.jar??
I know there is a way to deodex lollipop but since GPE does not have .odex files in framework folder and a lot of classes.dex files are inside a boot.oat and as far as I know there is no tool to extract them
So, could you please tell me how did you do this? Do you found a way to extract classes from .oat and .art files or did you just take android.policy.jar and framework.jar from another place/rom?

btw I found profiles in power menu a bit buggy. when you try to turn on silent mode sometimes you won't see the line under it which is the sign that mode is on

Requirements
- modPack5 made from sources maximum close to stock ROM - based on 3.11.401.106. To try it you must be on Android 4.2.2 and HTC Sense 5.0 ROM for HTC One SV. It must be deodexed system. It will work also on 3.11.401.1 base (LTE users).
Terms of Use
modPack is completely free software. You can flash it, decompile, builtin ROMs, or use parts of it on you decision. As any custom softwere made in free time, this can contains bugs. After flash zip file you can get bootloop or hanging your device if your ROM not meet the requirements. As I spent a lot of work on porting it to our device, atleast give credits and a link to this thread too.
How to install
modPack it's ready to flash from recovery updatable zip package.
The first you need to flash modPack and then optionality resManager (not available).

Great job, mate!
Since I'm walking the same path as you do, let me give you some hints.
To fix that blurred bottom and top of notification bar, after compiling apk, you just need to overwrite those images (res/drawable-xhdpi/status_bar_****.9.png) with ones from the stock systemui.apk using any archive manager you like. Apktool corrupts 9.png during "optimization".
Also, for this mods to work you need to disable system signature check (services.jar/packagemanager.smali) or sign these apks with your signature, because after editing androidmanifest.xml system signature breaks.

Since roms usually come with enabled signature check, you need to include services.jar with disabled check into this mod.
And sure, feel free to contact me if you have trouble with porting. ?

Some notes:
- Hope there are not bugs but if you find any please report.
- There might be minor resizing issues, but you know I'm not good at resizing so if you have time to resize last minor parts, please do.
- I did not edit any part of the original modPack5, only grid sizes to match our phone, also I fixed stock bug, now there are: 3x4, 4x4, 4x5 sizes.

It's based on k2_u files but can work also on k2_ul thought, you can try and make a backup before.
If it's not working I will try porting also to that base if I have time.

This rom will be installed by recovery mode, your device need Clock work mode recovery before installing.
Firstly, always make an android backup before flashing any rom :
Reboot into recovery, select option "backup and restore" and choose "backup", the backup will be in your sd card / clock work mode folder.
How to install this CriskeloRom ?
IF YOU COME FROM CriskeloRom, NO NEED TO WIPE, BUT IF YOU COME FROM OTHER ROM OR OTHER CUSTOM ROM : WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET IS NEEDED BEFORE INSTALLING THE FULL ROM
- Make a Nandroid backup of your current rom (mode recovery/backup and restore/backup)
- Save your user apks with Titanium backup or other (don't save system apks)
- Put the zip downloded (CriskeloRom) on your intern SD card
- Go to recovery mode and : WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET + WIPE CACHE PARTITION + IN ADVANCED/WIPE DALVIK CACHE
Your phone is now clean, you can flash the Rom CRISKELOROM :
- Install zip from sd card
- Choose zip from Intern SD card
- Go on CriskeloRom, select " Yes "
ROM INSTALLING IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME...
- When you see : install rom complete : press go back, and press reboot system now :

Guys; if you come from MJ7 or stuff like that, you need to wipe all data+media in your sdcard, I mean you need to format it (not the extsdcard).
Otherwise you will get some errors sayin no sufficent storage bla bla.. I couldn't even delete files from sdcard.
Before you format it, just try to open gallery after flashing the ROM, if you have the issue I'm talking about;, it is the only solution I know so far. (Thanks to dr.ketan for that solution.)
But if you don't have no issues; do not format your sdcard.
and don't be scared of that, because if you go back to any MJ7 ROM you will have it working, your gallery your files etc.
and it is not a developer fault, it is about sammie =)
and for titanium backup issues, go to playstore and search for "fix tb" it works well.

HOW TO FLASH
1.before flashing this ROM,your phone firmware should have updated to kk 4.4.2 already
2.need customer's recovery to flash,like cwm, philz touch,etc.
3.download ROM copy to your phone's sdcard
4.just go to recovery to flash the ROM,before,don't need to wipe anything,when installing,select full wipe if you are a newer of my kk4.4.2 ROM,or select just update from my former kk4.4.2 version.finished,will auto reboot into new ROM.

In fact - this is different base. XXUENG1 - it's "New" base, which uses new kernel and EFS format. While ZSUDNG1 - it is "Old" base (E goes after D ). It can use any "old" kernel base, with a lot of custom kernels. There is no sources for "New" kernel base, therefore - no custom kernels yet.

yes,it's TGY(Hongkong) newest base NG1,but different with SEK-NG1 base,both are newest,but different system framework,TGY-NG1 may build still under sumgsung NA6,so my kernel work with deepsleep on it,but not on SEK-NG1 base.

bro, i pick s5 setting ui and randomly got com.android.systemui crash. dont know with the note3 setting ui stock cos havent try it yet. also cannot find font option on setting.
Where is the flip cover menu? can't find option to put weather on my flip cover screen

try S5-OG-battery-UI-notrans on Aroma install app|item only,font setting-S5 settings,press menu,use "list' instead of "grid",you can find it.

Installation:
1.Take a full backup!
2.Download the rom zip and the addon package.
3.Install the rom with custom recovery or twrp. DO NOT REBOOT if you are planning to use the next step 4.
4.Install the CSC region of your choice with the "Addon package" (default csc region on rom installation is PRO)
Bootloader and modem (recommended to update it)
5.
[*] At the end of rom / addon installation process - remove battery for 10sec.
6.
[*] Insert the battery, then go directly to Download Mode (Vol_down+Home+Power, then Vol_up to confirm)
7.
[*] Flash using PC Odin BL / CP / PERSIST (flashing PERSIST is not necessary if you have flashed Lollipop ever before, using PC Odin)
8. Wait for the first boot (it may take up to 5 minutes !!!)
9. Reboot when asked for it after first boot!
10. ENJOY
Note: After a clean install all the colors of the Expanded statusbar are off (didn't have time to add the default color codes in the smalies , remember I build this for personal use!
Go to settings/device/notification window/advanced settings = there you control all the nice stuff. A reboot is needed for some changes to take effect.

No but you need to initialize s-voice to get rid of the delay.
double press home button for s-voice and set up s-voice.
Now the next time you long press the home button the resent app drawer will pop up much faster.

Onscreen buttons on Snapchat.apk - Could be the result of either 2 things from the MOD Pack, so if the .apk is more important than these MODs please keep this in mind, #1 the Color Nav Bar and #2 the Smaller Nav Bar MODs.
Keyboard sometimes does not pop up for some users. Lock/unlock screen to fix.
To set up the Voice Mail Password, some only need to set it up like this: *86,1234
while others need # sign before the pause like this: *86#,1234

Q: I have a question, what should I do?
A: Please read the first (3) three pages of this threads OP, This thread has the first 3 pages with important information. Then try and do a search of this thread to see if the question has already been asked (usually it has), and also read some recent posts (I don't expect you to read the entire thread, but searching basically does that for you). After you have searched and read some of the latest posts, then please proceed with your question.

Q: Why aren't you baking the MODs into the ROM?
A: This is because of the MOD Pack. Without a "Tweaks App" to turn the tweaks on/off, it is being done within the Aroma scripting. This is really the best way as it gives many more options and leaves out the need for personalized .zip add-ons that I previously have had to repeatedly make.
This now has all the code in the apps and will only activate if you check it in the Aroma installer. And you can always re-flash to remove/add something. Leedroid and InserCoin have posted Tweaks apps in Lyapotas thread that you can install on this ROM and it will work to control the MODs that are listed in the MOD Pack. If you do this, please ONLY select the Tweaks that are known in the MOD Pack, messing with others may cause issues. If you can't find the Tweaks app, you can always pull it out of the said ROMs and flash onto this one.
Q: I see you posted HKSettings.apk zip, what is this? Is this the full HK MOD?
A: No. This is not the full MOD. What you do if flash the HK MOD from the thread like you normally would. But then you end up with the wrong Settings.apk. I edited the Settings.apk from the ROMs I provided, so flash the HK MOD, then come download the correct HKSettings.zip and flash that and you are good to go.

Forgive my ignorance but what are you asking?
If you mean have it say 4G rather than LTE, I will have to look into that as, when I did the MOD to remove the dormant 4g Icon it also changed it to LTE. I didn't mind, but I can make an add-on.

As it isn't a top priority for me I won't be able to jump on it right away, but I'll certainly add it into the to-do list. This is a hard-coded smali MOD and the code is VERY different in Lollipop, and Lyapota has come to the day to save us with his awesome-ness and sharing of his amazing MODs. and so fast! Be sure to thank him in his thread, and send him some $ if you can.

Do you happen to know if this is only public?
I removed my Wi-Fi from my known networks and it connected fine.
The only public network I know of is the bar I my family owns which has public internet and also one with a sign in with password, I can check on Thursday, unless others can confirm or deny this. Unfortunately Wi-Fi issues aren;'t my strong suit and may need to contact for some help.

I'm so glad I waited on your magic. It was little eventful during the install as several things tried to activate at one and I got the aforementioned com.android error but it resolved and is flying high currently.

Definitely public only. Had no problems on my secure home network. However, now that I mention it, I was never prompted at home during setup to connect to WiFi. I connected after setup.

I apologize for any bugs that arise. I usually wait for an official ROM from VZW before putting one out, but I have been on LP for so long, I decided it's time to make a ROM. I will go through the set-up and see if I can get a log of the error, although I didn't get one when I installed.
but if someone else can get me a log perhaps I can figure it out.
I really appreciate the feedback and am glad you guys are enjoying the ROM! Hopefully the errors will work themselves out. I believe some may be because I may have forgotten an app or something and when you add you Google account the Playstore automatically fixes my mistakes.
