Link2SD 2nd Partition on Nand Flash - General Topics

I have a tablet with 700MB Internal Memory and 5GB Nand Flash. There is an empty slot for SD card but I don't use it. All the apps installed in Internal Memory so 700MB doesn't fit. Do you know how can I set Link2SD 2nd Partition using space from Nand Flash 5GB?

How To Delete "APP2SD" From My MicroSD?

Anyone Know how to delete "APP2SD" from my sdcard?
I've Already made some partitions on my microSD 2GB, after I've finished the partitions, my storage in my MicroSD card change from 2GB to 1.5GB.
and, last day, i bought new MicroSD 4GB, and I put my 1.5GB SDCard, and put into my Windows Mobile Omnia Pro.
and I wanna turn back my 1.5GB into 2GB again.
but how?I've already format it, and I've already made 0mb partitions from Recovery, but it's still read 1.5GB...
any suggestions?
you got to make new partitions...
your ext partition covers 512MB which leaves 1.5gig for FAT...so even if you formatt is, it will stay at 1.5...
make new partitions in recovery menu...0 MB ext, 0 MB swap, remaining FAT
get gparted in Linux. your apps2sd partition can not be seen by Windows, so formatting is not an option.

[Q] Phone Internal Storage

I'm a little confused about how the Captivate storage is structured. Can someone clarify this for me?
The phone has internal storage and external storage. The external storage is straight forward so we can ignore that.
The internal storage is broken down into:
1. Internal SD card (~13.5 GB capacity)
2. Internal phone storage (~2GB capacity)
These are logical partitions of the same internal SD card (physical NAND storage) correct?
On a stock phone all of the OS and App data is stored on the "Internal phone storage" in separate folders?
Mimocan's lagfix works by moving the App data to a partition on the "External SD card"?
The EXT2 lagfix works by creating a new partition out of the "Internal SD card" which acts as a buffer between the OS and App data? (I think my understanding is definitely wrong here.)
60 views and no thoughts?
There are a bunch of partitions on the internal memory. The ext2 lag fix works my creating an image of a partition and then mounting it via loop back device. The mimocan variant for the Captivate mounts an ext2 or ext3 partition and symlinks to it, or its just mounted as the target directory, I haven't checked.

[Q] How to partition sd card for Defy?

I've brought my sdcard from my old HTC Magic. There (using cyanogenmod) it was partitioned to have swap, ext4 space for apps2sd and storage space as vfat. I did not repartitioned the card since I started using my Defy but it ran out of space already.
The question is - do I need swap and apps space or shall I repartition my card to have only storage space for the defy? I'm using Jboogies rom, if that matters.
You do not have to partition your MicroSD card at all.
Shouldn't need apps2sd or space in sd card for applications. Defy has over 1g available rom space out of factory.

Delete Android partitions

Hello, my tablet(Allview TX1 Quasar) has 2 partition on it's internal storage. The worst part is that the system recognize the second partition as a SD Card. So when I install a app on the SD Card I install it on the second partition that has 700 mb. Is there any way I can delete this second partiton?

Low internal memory

Any solution to low internal memory problem?

Buy SD card, download Link2SD, make second partition on SD card in ext2 and link apps to second partition. I made second partition 1GB size and I don't have any problems with memory or app.
