I have a galaxy S3. It is Towelrooted. This problem has been adressed at least one hundred thousand times. I really just want confirmation I'm banned or never going to use google play on my device again. I downloaded Freedom and used it correctly and everything worked fine. At first I set the date and time on my phone but later set it back because I installed market unlocker. I also downloaded lucky patcher but surely that has nothing to do with my play store not connecting, and I had VPN master but I doubt that made it wacky because it disconnected every time it llost data connection. So here's the story. When I learned I couldnt connect to my play store after force stopping freedom and even setting the date back to my time on market unlocker I reset my phone and then went to sign into google play but it wouldn't let me sign in or make a new account. I finally figured out how to edit my hosts file through es file explorer by putting the pound # sign before the second ip address and retarded. I finally accessed my account but still no connection to the play store. So I edited the hosts file again because someone said it worked the second time, but still no luck. I finally deleted it and rebooted but no luck. Freedom has been stopped in app and forced stopped and the time and date on my phone is all correct. Cache has been cleared on every google app a million times. I even restart my phone so maybe it will randomly work. I've tried all this one mobile network and WiFi. Just for good measure I uninstalled google plays recent updates a few times and restarted blah blah blah. What could this mean?

I found appbrain.com and it is very good website.
But i can not install any app becouse i can not install appbrain app market.
I found appbrain app market 3.8 from the web. I can see all apps but when i try to install it gives an error and force to close.
What should i do?
Could you pass appbrain app market 4.0 to me?

If your phone can't access the Android Market, you cannot use AppBrain. Appbrain is not a market, it is just a companion tool. Downloads are still handled through links to the official Android Market.
If you want apps, try the AndAppStore or SlideMe.

Your method is also working for warez application, so I can't deleted it.

Hey everybody. I wasn't sure about the right place to sumbit this thread so I went for the General one. I'm having some store-troubles.
I recently got this new device, a generic greek brand. It came without the playstore on it. I tried a lot of ways to make the playstore work on this device but the best state I got it to, is, having it installed on the device but whenever I may try to download an app on it, it will crash. That was no problem me, I mostly needed it to use other apps that just "need" the store to be installed. For my everyday use I shuffled through AmazonAppStore-1mobile-Aptoide n such.
Now the problem I'm facing is with certain free apps that I try to install, the last one being Heroes of O&C. It's a free app on the Google store, but since I can't use it I search on my other stores. Found it on 1mobile,downloaded it, ran it, runs license check and drops me. Found it on aptoide, same deal. That's happened before on other apps I tried to install through these store, and everytime they fail. See, I don't understand how this works. They are all free apps, and they all fail a license check and ask my to BUY the dam app(?). So then I'll have to resort to google, find a legit apk+obb combo out there and download it. But what happens when you want to go online? Some of em won't support it, or even support updates on themselves. By the way i didn't mention it before but the device isn't rooted and I doubt there's a certain way to root this one (nor would i risk it for the time being).
So what I'm finally asking of you are these two things:
1) I want whatever possible way you can think of making the playstore work without having a rooted device
2) perhaps any "more" legit store I haven't found already?

So I wasted a good 5 hours trying to get my phone to connect to the Google Play store. It worked perfectly fine up until I decided to update to Lollipop. Thinking that was the problem I tried a bunch of suggestions online like clearing cache of the app and whatnot. Ended up doing a factory reset to see if it fixed the issue and it did not. No matter what account I tried to log into it would always say it could not connect even though I could use the internet fine on the phone. Ended up trying to log into my main email address on my old phone and found it was doing the same thing. I wake up this morning and my brother tells me he hacked in-app purchases on his phone and can get any in-game item that requires real world money purchases for free. After telling him he's an idiot and could possibly get in trouble with the law and his accounts banned I then realized when he took over my Droid RAZR he has always been using my Google Play account because he is too create his own Google account.
Thus leading me to the conclusion that my Google account has been banned from the play store. I've look all around in my e-mail and can't find any signs of it being banned.
Does anyone here know how I can figure out of this is truly the case? Sorry for the wall of text... and thanks in advance!

If possible ,try rolling back to older firmware version or reflash newer version to fix any possible firmware errors.

I was trying lucky patcher and it crashed my play store . after that my phone was showing play stopped working. I also reset my phone but still it doesn't work. I have tried many solutions like clear catch data, reinstalled, updated from play store but nothing to be work. i'm using lenovo s660
XDA does not condone or allow discussion of warez. This is a site for developers, and stealing from them doesn't go over well here.
I'm afraid you'll need to seek help on another site for that.

Was messing around with lucky patcher and I think it messed up my google play. The problem I'm getting is all downloads from the google play store (both updating or fresh installations) are stuck. Doesn't even say 0%....it says "Downlading.....".
I'm using a rooted Samsung S7 G390F.
I've tried the following:
- Clearing google play & Google play services cache + data
- Removing and adding back my google account
- Deleting the hosts file from /system/etc/
- Restoring previous installation of google play store with titanium backup
None of which works.
Can you please recommend a solution?
