THE MOST AWAITED ROM
THIS IS A PORT ROM - ORIGINAL ROM THREAD
What works:
- SIM1 for phone calls (incoming/outgoing) and SMS, data (2g, 3g)
- SIM2 is a WIP
- Audio (microphone - now also outside phone calls, loudspeaker, headphones, OK google)
- Sensors
- Wifi (not wifi direct)
- GPS (no A-GPS yet nor EPO assist files, so the fix can take a bit)
- hw composer
- camera for taking pictures (not video) Main camera 8MP/ front 3MP
- wifi and usb tethering
- battery usage stats (expect the usage for Display to be very unprecise)
- bluetooth
- candy crush, facebook and twitter
What doesn't work, known bugs:
- 2nd sim card 3G switch
- Dual SIM is a WIP, not has some bugs (data connection instability, etc.)
- camera for "movies" does not work
- (hw) video en/decoding not enabled
- FM radio not available
- A-GPS does not work, GPS works though but slowish
- rest of MTK specifics (what?)
There will be random reboots which is common for CM11 especially on mediatek chipset.
HOW TO INSTALL
Copy the CM11.zip to internal/external storage.
Goto recovery.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
Backup ur current working ROM.
Wipe data/chache/delvic chache.
Format system.
Install ROM as normal zip.
Wait until it boots.:good:
This ROM uses stock kernel as no source codes are available.
U need to flash Google apps after rom flash to use google accounts. Gapps Minimal, FULL

NO it cant be.
GAPPS are google apps which are needed to login in gmail accounts.
Gapps.. basically is set of apps, lib files by google and it allow you to sync ur data ie contacts, calendar, settings, wifi keys, apps , location etc. to your google account. Play store is a part of Gapps.
If you don't use google account on your android phone then you don't need it.

Tried flashing again with gapps.
Worked. Google account syncs.
Phone reboots during the first call you receive.
System ui crashes sometimes after changing the theme...
Themes working.
Gravity box on exposed framework working partially. Couldn't change quick settings. I was trying by restoring xposed & gravity box from titanium backup. A fresh install may work.
Things not tested- OTG, screen cast, battery life
Ram consumption around 850mb with no extra apps.
Reverted back.. As was to lazy to restore more than 45 apps...
@avi is it possible to port the theme chooser of cm to any other custom ROM.. Specially legend v10..

Its not possible to port the theme engine as its related to framework.
Some themes are not compatible fully in which case u can try to change some components of theme.:good:
Just some annoying problems with network and themes
ROM is smooth and responsive

Just flashed...came from 4.2 IB so flawwless....
rom is awesome in looks.great graphics,font and settings all themed very well done
performance is good,smooth as butter no lags...standard 256 swap enabled free mem 54%
no laggings in games etc.
wifi is great,camera works rear and front,gps works although it took a while to fix.
gallery scanned my media,in music i had to enable size minumum to 0 to see small audio files...
not any fc found only in camera the magic wand selection doesnt work (gif/3d panorama)
normal foto/video/panorama and everything else works
will test it next week in malaysia on my field trip.

Work in progress ...
Anytime I restart my device it seems all the notification sounds I set as default for different apps seem to change... I have to keep changing them every time I restart my device.... That's the only issue I have on this ROM.... Am I the only one with this issue ?

I flashed the rom and its AMAZING! :thumbup:
I used twrp recovery, wiped data, flashed the rom and then flashed gapps. The first boot took around 5 minutes.
The rom is smooth.
Bluetooth works fine, gallery was able to read photos, music player and is also working fine and i was able to play songs. Making and receiving call works.
Google keyboard works , Google Experience Launcher is smooth and gives no problems at all. Features from the settings which i tested(almost all) works fine.
Reboot works fine.
While rotating the screen it first flashes a black screen then rotates.
I was in a low network area still my signal strength was full.
Not able to capture scree (known issue)
Screen record is also not working, when i selected it it said screen recording started but i was not able to play the video since the size of the video file was 0B.
There is no supersu, so titanium backup didn't work. As the op has provided a fix it should work (i didn't test).
I'm using cm10.1 now because camera is not working. Those who don't use camera can definitely use this rom as a daily driver.

took 2 mins to boot on first time. successive boots were normal. :good:
immersive mode is super awesome.
almost all settings works (Network speed indicator and Network activity indicator doesnt seem to work)
Talking about bugs..
along with camera, mass storage and mtp mode is also not working.
Swipe doesnt work in keyboard.
screen capturing and recording doesnt work.
sometimes lags while scrolling.
no root privileges to Titanium Backup.
I'll use it for a day to see battery backup! and if random reboot exist!
you shall update OP with list of bugs

Network speed indicator was working for me, and yes network activity indicator doesn't work.
One more thing i forgot to mention in my review, in recent apps all the screen looks black you can only see the icon and its name. You have this problem?

for me GPS working..
Its a really a nice ROM specially the UI. Its simple and stylish, love it.
No lags issue, no DPI issue, no voice sound issue till now.

video call is not working in wechat too... its showing you are on 2G network and can't make video call ... but m using 3G

HOW TO INSTALL
Use custom KK recovery from here.
I prefer [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch 6.57.9 - cwm 6.0.5.1.
(Internal sd-card refereed as sdcard00, external as sdcard01)
Download rom zip file.
Put into sd card.
Flash the desired recovery.
Boot into recovery.
BACKUP CURRENT ROM
Wipe for flash of new rom.
Or wipe data/system/delvic cache/cache.
Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
Select the zip file and Select YES
Reboot.
THINGS TOBE NOTED
First boot takes time 3-5 mins so be patient.
wait until it boots.

Some problem while installing google apps via play store. Need to restart the phone in order to get app installed.
But restore of google apps via titanium backup works fine.
Calendar app is today is not able to sync with google calendar. Tried installing google calendar, same result. No sync with google account calendars. Tried replacing the Google calendar sync apk from legend 8 ROM to system.. But no use..
Please check the same. If a bug can you provide a patch?
Google account shows error in sync... ( though contacts & mails are synced properly)
Else the ROM is with best material UI.. Will use it for some more time for review.

After 2-3 reboots gapps problem solved.
Calendar sync- solved.. Calendar sync apk in private apps was missing.. Copied it from legend 8. .. Now calendar syncs..
Nav bar can't be enabled.. Or at least I don't know how to enable it in this ROM.
Lock screen default widget can't be changed..

I feel legend ROM is way more better than this bro, using 3rd party lockscreen make in present , more over I always use pattern security in the system, so the 3rd party lock screen won't work, and if I enable pattern in 3rd party lock screen I have to put even when I have to attend a incoming call, it bit annoying

Sorry this problem was with sgs5 v2 ROM bro
Have just removed L lock screen... Instead have replaced keylock.apk from legend 8 ROM in order to enable custom widget as default. Now the the ROM is complete with exception of navbar. Still the best, fastest and most stable ROM till date.
Google camera is amazing... This is the first Google camera fully working for me... With photosphere... So useful feature for me as an architect. Now I'm able to see or show someone my site virtually. Thanx Google & @avi .

gesture doesnt work on this phone..so you got FC..normal.
for camera just go to settings/apps/camera and wipe cache. reboot.:good:
