Hey guys and gals,
I was wondering where I can get a good replacement battery for the HTC one mini. Has anyone here tried any and how was the battery's performance? I can't find any OEM batteries, with a google search I stumbled upon the X-longer battery and most ebay batteries don't get positive reviews. If I could get some pointers or if anyone has experience with a (OEM/original) replacement battery please let me know!
edit: part number for the battery is BO58100

I just had mine replaced, but it was done by a local cell phone repair shop. I think they have some oem distributor connection or something. The battery only cost $35.
I actually received my battery last week and installed it yesterday, it is working great and I get the feeling it lasts longer than my old one. I did this by following some russian youtube repair video of the m4
Hello,
where you have bought the battery and how you installed it? Do you have found a manual/fixit?
Regards,
Oliver

Hi everyone..
My nexus one's battery can last about 1 and half days but sometimes it runs out before I have chance to recharge it..
I live in Melbourne, Australia, does anyone know how can I get OEM batteries in Melbourne?
Many thanks!

I think the incredible uses the same battery.
The desire uses the same battery so maybe pop down to a mobile phone shop, Footscray, and then ask for the Desire battery
I bought an OEM battery from Google when I got my N1, but Google isn't selling the N1 anymore. Vodafone however is, but with the SLCD screen. I'm not sure if there'll be any difference in rating if the SLCD screen needs more or less power than the OLED screen.
Anyway, after reading posts by d0ugie on the subject of OEM vs aftermarket batteries in this forum, I'd go with the OEM batteries.
Hope this helps.
I'm curious as to what the best standard size high capacity battery for the Samsung Galaxy S is.
After some searching the Andida 1850mah battery seems to be the best choice, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the other high capacity batteries such as the 1800mah one that's floating around on ebay:
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150532499575&category=20336&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619
Any help would be greatly appreciated
On the seller's feedback page I found the following comments:
not 1800mAH battery, last no longer than a normal nattery. But a good extra batt
Correct battery got here faster than expected from China no less better than OEM
Battery works great. Seems to provide a bit more juice then stock
This battery is junk. Only lasted 6 hours with my phone in standby. Don't buy
The battery work ok, but not last longer then my 1500mah original battery.
Yeah there's mixed reviews on it so I was just wondering if anyone had any personal experience with it.
Also, i'm curious if anyone knows anything about this:

I build a discharge tester and did some research on this one over @ captivate forum. Check it out here:

Hi, Can anyone please advise me of a good/reliable cmpatable battery for the Desire S, which lasts longer befoe it needs to be charged each time, than the one supplied by HTC. What about the compatable Phone Battery BG32100 from China.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308766 they recommend the ankers batterys they are pretty cheap and reliable.the ones from china have had problems so best to avoid them.
if you want to change the stock battery , check this one...

sorry for my bad english!
Mugen
I heard that Mugen extended batteries are slightly thicker than original and cause that infamous screen lifting on Desire S. I have experienced it also with standard battery, don't know what happened.
Hi there, I am thinking to search for a better battery than the stock one, as my mobile lasts only one day with some wifi use. Anyone knows how much does the phone last with the mugen battery?
Mugen power
Mugen battery review

This is my preview, I’ve already got the touch pro battery and I'm testing it hard. So far it is super impressive. I will be updating the review soon and I will add a youtube review asap, and asap I will get the Desire S battery as I'm sold on Mugen Power now.
Hello guys, so there's a local mobile repair shop here in my country where they offer legit Asus battery as a replacement to the stock 3300mAh of our OnePlus 6. I'm just wondering, is there anyone here tried the same thing on their OP6? I've already tried searching on google and here on XDA but I'm afraid there's none, so I'm asking this here.
So, the battery mod is a 4000mAh from Asus which can perfectly fit our OnePlus 6 device without any additional space/bulk on the inside. I already have a schedule for the battery replacement this week and hopefully I would see improvements over my aging stock battery.
Without playing any games, I am averaging 6.5-7hrs SoT with a day and a half of battery until it reaches below 15%, while when playing games, I am only getting 3-4hrs of SoT.
I would post here some screenshots of changes/improvements on the battery life after I received the battery replacement.
Feel free to comment anything with regards to the matter. Thanks guys! ??
As long as the battery connector is the same I think it should be fine. But I'd be seriously worried about Dash Charge. Not all batteries can take that wattage. Like a week ago someone in my group shared photos of a guy with a battery replacement in his Poco and his phone exploded in his pocket and guy had really badly burned/melted skin on his thigh.
So be careful with that, monitor temperatures and stay safe
I would be very wary of non-standard batteries in this phone unless they are specifically approved for usage, i.e., VOOC/Dash charge supported. The fact that the connection may fit means nothing.
Otherwise you're risking a fire or explosion. Charging protocols for li-ion batteries are nothing to mess around with.

I watched a tear down of the OnePlus 6 several months ago and saw that doing a battery replacement on this phone is one of the easiest I have ever seen. So easy in fact that I often wonder if OnePlus made it easy for those of us who are willing to do the work so as to keep our phones running a long time!

OFFTOPIC:
Any place where we can buy original batteries?
One year past and already notice decrease more 20% life battery....
As Cleruzinek said, It's NOT wise to use non-oneplus battery to replace the original, unless u certainly know what u'r doing...at least u'r familar with oneplus "voltage control" in the OP circuit board; battery without ISO proven is quite dangerous and cause trouble...for safely is better stick to original's haha! @Mord0rr Taobao or E-bay have...check those out!
TABAO don´t know how to buy...
Ebay....just say i don`t trust those sources as legitime item....thats why i ask.
When I change by back cover ( bought it as broken) I thought I could as well change the battery, which is very easy. I bought it not at Ebay but from a well known danish provider. It looks and feels exactly as the battery that was there before, and works fine now several months later. So I would look for one from a local provider for spare parts for oneplus.
As I am stuck with this phone for a while longer, I was wondering if theres anybody here that could please suggest a place to get a high/good quality replacement battery for my HTC U12+ and I'd also like to replace the USB-C port with a good one too of possible.
Thank you!!!
Still no one?
I bought this battery a few days ago, but still hasn't arrived yet..

For the usb port I would buy this one after a quick search on aliexpress too, the store has a good percentage of positive reviews and over 6000 followers.. so you should be ok with them to get a replacement in case of parcel lost or receive a damage one. Although I never got bad deals from sellers with these conditions.

No, I'll see if the one I bought is not working properly I'll try that one. My original one is 4years old and still has 80% capacity.. Maybe its even better to keep the original instead

Hello. In the end, have you bought a battery ? Mine is really dead. I like my U12+, it's still running smooth, but it's not possible for me to use it more than half a day without charging.

Hi, they sent the wrong model and I haven't bought another one yet.. They sent the money back, but I'm still using the original one as it is still around 75% healthy and good enough to daily use for me.
But I would buy the same again if I was going to buy one now. The one they sent seems good visually, well packaged and brand new.
edit: about the one someone sent above, I saw bad reviews about that shop...
