This shouldn't be too hard to fix
first a few questions that may seem obvious but please don't be offended, they are easy to miss
1) is "Xposed Installer" installed on your device?
2) in the xposed installer under the 'Framework' tab have you selected install/update?
3) under the modules tab are all the modules ticked?
4) what version of anroid are you using ?

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit T599 and it's using jellybean version 4.1.2. I recently rooted it and I tried to install this theme using the latest version of metamorph: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2134382
Buy when I tried to install it it gave my the message: "The Theme you selected is invalid because the theme control file could be missing, or is not correctly written"
Can someone tell me what to do to fix this problem. I'm a really big noob when is comes to stuff like this.

Try it another way:
Install "XPOSED framework" --> XPOSED installer v 2.41
when installed it download the "module" "HK ThemeManager". You can find it using the XPOSED app. Then download a theme compatible with HK Theme manager and your android version.
Oops!

XPOSED can't brick your device, as you simply can deactivate all changes via custom recovery...
Hello everybody, i'm having some troubles with Xposed Framework 2.6.1.
I've downlaoded Xposed Installer today and i installed the Framework, i rebooted the device but Xposed Installer keep saying to me that the last xposed version isnt actually active. Its also asks me if i downlaoded the framework and rebooted the device. I checked FAQ but i didn't solve the problem. Any ideas how to fix it?
Hi there,
If you ask your question here: XDA Community Apps > Xposed General you may get more help!
Hello sir,,, my asus fonepad 7model K012 its already rooted,,, so i want to know how to install xposed installer to my device without computer,,, and what framework i should to use in my device??? Help me,,,
If you are on kitkat or lower then go to this site http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer and install the xposed installer apk as a normal app from here and open it just click on the xposed framework inside the app and it will tell you what to do
Check the Xposed thread. Use the search function please !
Always backup device before installing stuff like that though. Better safe than sorry!
Ok so in June 2016, I installed root on my galaxy s5. So I did a few stuff like change the charging sound and change the boot loop and other things. Soon then I got xposed framework and it worked! I got some modules and it was great. Soon then my Snapchat stopped working. I would log in but it didn't work. So I checked why and it was because I either had root or xposed framework. So I tried uninstalling xposed framework and my phone bricked. Luckily I had a backup I installed another uninstaller. Zip and it still bricked! So what's wrong? My phone has armv7 and I got the right uninstalled but it didn't work. So is there a fix or am I stuck with framework forever? Please help. Why is it that Samsung devices boot loop after trying to uninstall it? How can I fix this?
Please help
Bro this is a section for galaxy chat. not the S5. please ask it in galaxy s5's forums.
PS:- Xposed and samsung dont play together so well anyways

Anyways try flashing the stock Samsung firmware. Idk much about Sam now, but I still think you've to use Odin to flash it. Google how to do it in s5

Yeah I'll try to be honest Samsung really makes it so hard for developers to do anything like xposed.

Are you rooted?
Did you grant V4A root permissions?
Did the driver install when you opened the app?
Does your kernel have SELinux permissive mode?
Have you disabled/removed your stock audioFX app?
