It seems that our theme collection has not support yet. Which is your ROM? I hope to include that theme in next release.

Ah, don't need to worry(?) about that, cause mine sysUI has been modified with Xposed mod for Xperia. (Anyway, mine is Xperia Z1 4.4.4 stock with Z3 System UI) Thanks.
Love the idea. It's useful if I add call shortcut into widgets
its look nice welldone!
Hi i notice that when i use the widget the notification area its getting on even in settings is off
ouch. Don't know what to do about this, I enabled
wifi tethering and connected with my tablet. Upon disconnecting my tablet was no longer able to connect to anything else. Something was changed in my tablet when I connected to the tethering that has disabled the ability for it to connect to anything else. Do you have any ideas on this?
*edit** Solved. Reset home router. Weird problem.

Work well on my end. It's certainly a bug. I will check it soon.

Noticed this as well. Also, after enabling Wifi Tether, upon disabling the icon stays in notification area. Don't know if that is related to the problem I had above or not. Really like your app.

You should add widgets right from your home screen. Most lanchers support long click on free space to add a widget. Once you are in, you will see Action Widgets 4x1 and other size there.

What Im saying is your phone as these wierd cool icons. how did you get it to look like that?
Damn. I glanced over to the right side of XDA the moment I logged in and saw a screenie with a lollipop background and my eye caught the text "Xposed" and had a mini heart attack thinking Xposed finally made it to lollipop. sigh. :silly:
anyway! Gonna give this a shot.
The GPS toggle does not turn on the GPS, it just sends you to the location menu. (Galaxy S4)
If you could fix it, that would be great.
Hi,
I am testing this app on my Sony Z1c 4.4.4 stock ROM, full rooted.
1. If another app (perhaps a tasker) switches the auto-sync to off then action widgets does not update its state.
2. If I want to change mobile data this app does not do it direct, I get the Android menu to change this.
Brightness and sound seem to work as expected.

I'm proud to present my new app: Notification Toggle.
With this app, you can place different toggles into your Android status/notification bar for quick access without having a dozen toggle-widgets on your homescreens
You can choose which toggles to display in the settings of the app. You can also change the color of the icons as well as the icons completly to fit your systems design.
The app is for free in the Play Store, would be nice to get some feedback
Download
Some notes:
not every toggle will work on every device: especially the flashlight functionallity is very erratic and every manufacturer implemented it somehow different. you should install TeslaLED in addition to notification toggle
some settings aren't changeable by user apps, so it will bring you directly to the android settings (like GPS since Android 2.3)
if have a rooted device, you can install the app in /system/app to directly toggle GPS even on Android 2.3+ Click here for more information
Issues with the TalkBack service? See here
Some nice icons: (you can also use this app on Android 2.3+ to download the icons)

works well on my G1 with SuperE.
if i find any bugs, i will let you know
Works great, needs some theme support or basic coloring of the icons would be great,
Any chance that we can change stuff straight from the status bar, without having the pop-up menu like in CM7 status bar,
i think thats only possible in the latest android version. i dont think it will support anything lower than froyo for that feature

yeah, some skinning stuff is on my to-do list... edit: icons are now changable through menu -> skin
toggling without the pop-up is possible on some devices (e.g. on a htc legend with stock rom) but on most it handles only one click-event per notification. unfortunately it seems not to be possible for user apps to change that
Nice work. I'm just curious why you can't directly toggle GPS when something like SwithPro can.
well, there might be some hacks to somehow toggle the GPS, but the official google API doesn't allow you to do that.
actually, android itself turns the GPS off is no app is using it. so google intention is that you let the gps settings enabled and let the system handle turning it on and off
Working great on my LG G2X o
The app works well, except the flashlight (which was the main reason I downloaded the app) does not work for me at all. It's a Samsung Galaxy S (Fascinate on Verizon). The phone DOES have a flash, but no change when I toggle.
great works with my hd2 with ud 3.3
Is the toggle for 3g included?
Just gave it a try on my LeeDroid (2.4) Desire, works quite well
The lack of Power Control Widgets in the notification bar has been one of the major things stopping me from moving to the Gingerbread LeeDroid build, this may just make me move on over
Sorry - i found the 3g/Data toggle ;-)
Buy the way - realy great app!!!
Looks great, I'm about to try it out.
The marker screenshot shows that there's no percentage display for adjusting brightness. Would be great if I could actually see how much % of brightness I set!
i recently changed from a gingerbread sense rom to a nexus S rom on my HD2
I much preferred it but the only thing i was missing was notification toggle....NOW i have again thank you very much!
One thing I would like is if notifications could appear ABOVE the settings rather than below it- if this is possible?
Thanks mate! This solves the only downside of this ROM!
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA App
Why would you use this over Widgetsoid? Just curious and wondering I should switch or not.
Somthimes you find a app wich should have been part of Androide, and this is such a app!
1 thing im missing is the posibility to toggle betwen no sound AND no vibrate or Normal. Now you can only toggle betwen Normal and Vibrate.
Just tried it on my Legend: works great.
Here's a couple of suggestions though :
Would be nice if the icons were grey whenever it's off. For example, if my WiFi is turned off, the icon would be grey, and black when it's turned on.
I also believe you can toggle GPS directly. Oh, and by the way, when I click on GPS my phone shows the security (lock screen and stuff) settings instead of the GPS settings.
I would love a Battery icon (with percentage) and a volume control shortcut.
Anyway, thanks for all your work
Flashlight doesn't work on Motorola Defy with Pays v3.3. With Widgetsoid it does.
Can't 4-5 toggles be put in a row, something similar with power controls widget?
This is yet another widget that shows the tablet and dock battery level.
The style is minimalist and, imho, integrates well with Honeycomb theme.
The widget uses a service to update: it requires very few resources and It wakes up only when receiving an ACTION_BATTERY_CHANGED intent and only if the screen is on.

Clemsyn-Blade Kernel 10b, dock battery monitor not working.
Use this app to send me some debugging information (don't warry, the application don't have internet access, it simply fills out an email that then you'll need to submit manually).
Done..........
dock_status=1 --> DOCK_STATE_UNDOCKED
dock_level=0 --> no battery charge level
If the TF was connected to the dock when you sent me the email, then the kernel you're using does not provide correct information about the dock...
I guess that also other dock battery level widgets give you the same problem.
Yeah, none seem to work with that kernel. Guess I'll change kernels.

Yup, looks like Asus added some customisations to get the dock info displaying. The "OC" kernels currently out aren't based off the official Asus kernel so don't have the required customisations.
2 things.
1. When I first installed, did not show up on the widget list, had to reboot. Using stock 3.1
2. Widget is hard to see if not using a dark wallpaper, how about option to make widget look like your API icon? That actually looks really good!

Sorry, stupid autocorrect, typing on the Transformer. I meant your APK icon.
Flashed back to stock kernel and this now works for me.
Best battery widget so far in my opinion because it fits with the style of the HC stock UI.
I applied a shadow to the text, so it can be read on light backgrounds (check the topic):
The next day I'll try to work on some background images
I like it, but it shows "Dock" twice, instead of "Tablet" and "Dock".

Ooops! Fixed
EDIT
WTH, the bug is clearly visible in the screenshot! I'm too tired, better go to bed xD
Wow, that's a pretty cool looking widget
Job well done!
Thank you, your widget also looks good
I saw that you also had to switch to a service, I'm not a services fan, but I fear that it's the only solution .
Yeah, that's true..
I tried to keep the receiver within the widget itself, but the OS just kills the widget process pretty fast (and rightly so, I guess), so service it is
It's really light though, and hardly does anything at all, so that's a relief, at least
Just wanted to send another thanks, this widget has served me quite well so far and I like it's compactness/design.
Thanks, unfortunately it does not seem like much to others XDA users

The third post told me 'Todo'.
Giving this a try. Just got a new base/standup charger and was looking for an app like this. Will give it a shot.
Ok. Here's a screen shot from a Galaxy S3.
Suggestions: Configure the apps or toggle them. I personally don't really need any of those accessible.
Option to change said apps.
Alarm access and/or display option.
See, I'm lookin for a clock to turn on while charging but keeping my display on I can force the display (via NfC and load this app) so aside from the little bit of suggestions I posted, the clock itself is exactly what I need/will use.
Keep at it dev.

Nice work Timmo,
i just installed it, and i found a bug -
i open the app, tap on the clock and the screen changes to a new screen:
Analog clock,
digital clock,
date
battery level.
when i tap on the clock, it resets the clock to 12:00, January 1st 2013 and then goes back to the correct time.
Widgets work fine.
Greetings,
Looking good, will try it.
What is that font?? It looks great!!
Working great on my SIII.
Suggestion: would be nice if you could have an option to automatically switch screen to the clock nightmode when charger is connected

Same on nexus 4..created a custom panel for those apps which don't fit in any of the collections
---------- Post added at 11:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:16 PM ----------
Can you please increase the number of recents shown in recents panel. The default Android recents has so many apps and whereas quickr shows only a handful.
Sort of the app which I might have tried to do as a plunge into Android dev-ship
Right now I have Homeflip (BTW, also can be a bit slow but is lean and mean, I mean tiny. LIke that!!) set as only showing recent apps. Homeflip, as well as most all the launchers out there, have forgotten all about shortcuts. Homeflip is a launcher overlay, becomes the default launcher with a chosen fallback. Makes trying out launchers very easy and convenient.
I have the Xposed swipe-back app to close running apps. Very useful.
I tried an app, do not remember which one, to swipe through recent app screens (instead of snapshots or icons). Useful but not well implimented, more problems than it was worth.
I see Quickr as a stand-in for Ubuntu-like functionality because it has four possible edges. However, really need partial edges so as not to interfere with normal phone function! Then possible up to 8-12 alternatives though I would not use them all.
One edge for recent apps. I prefer a column of icons or small snapshots (take a lot more RAM).
One edge for contacts, showing pictures, info, and/or/another edge for media? Replacing Homeflip and others.
Is this app an launcher-overlay or "separate" app like most others of this type?
Functionality in which I am interested, will work?

This is not only a launcher-overlay app, but also any-app overlay. You can swipe in from edge when you are actively in any app.
This is quite brilliant, my new favorite app for multitasking. The only bugs that I've noticed are:
1) sometimes apps and shortcuts disappear from my custom panels. I've had my Hibernate Now (greenify) shortcut disappear from one panel, and also the Snapchat app disappeared from another panel. I'm not sure what would cause something like this, and it isn't something I can reproduce for a log. Temporary solution is just add the missing app/shortcut back to the panel it disappeared from. Doesn't happen very often either, just every once in a while I'll notice there are less apps and realize one is missing.
2) For some reason, Google+ doesn't show up in my list of applications. I've checked the bottom of the app list, as there are 5 or so miscellaneous apps that show up there out of alphabetic order, and it's not there either. I would really like to add Google+ to my social panel, it's one of the apps I use most.
3) Not really a bug, and no offense intended, but those folders are pretty ugly. Something like Nova's folders with just a dark circle or square would look much better.
Other than those couple of things, Quickr has been super convenient. The couple of hiccups I've had are not deal-breakers, I will continue using it. Awesome job, can't wait for more updates!!

Hey XDA,
I've got a new app, and I would love some help in testing it and finding any bugs!
Crescendo Launcher is a homescreen replacement that makes it easier for seniors (or kids!) to use an Android phone or tablet.
Features
NetManage: Crescendo can automatically toggle mobile data or WiFi if an app requires it. (Data is turned off after the screen is turned off)
Simple Apps: Crescendo comes with several simplified apps, including an easy-to-use web browser and flashlight.
Simple Settings: One click access to Ringer, WiFi and Mobile Data settings
Help Central: A comprehensive help center that teaches users how to use their device. It's fully illustrated!
App Drawer: An accessible app drawer with big icons.

FAQ
Q: The app crashed!
A: Please click the 'Report' button on the force close dialog - this lets me view a crash log. If you don't want to do this, please pull a logcat and either post it in the thread or PM it to me. I can't fix the error if I don't know what it is. Thanks!
Q: I would like to see feature X and Y
A: Awesome! Just post in this thread and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Problem Here,
Its Force Closing On 4.4.2 Kitkat.
Not Even Starting.
Is This App Compatible With Kitkat?
Thanks Anyways
the feel very happy very nice and clear
Not working on my LG G2
Setup works fine but after that keeps on crashing, Love the concept but can't try this due to some error, Dev please fix it in your free time :highfive:
So I tested it for 3 minutes. This is what I would say.
The home screen, is this a home screen I mean there should be option to directly switch to app drawer.
Icon size of apps are large I would consider using small size.
Limit on no. of apps, this shouldn't be added as premium feature.
No widgets.
Shouldn't weather location be auto set & even if we type in search box there should be suggestions coming up.
In this initial test didn't find usage of the smart switch off Internet on/off.
This isn't a launcher at all, in launcher there is beautiful app drawer. This thing needs much improvement, I guess it would become my primary browser when v3.0 will come.
Seems to look good. Clean, minimalist, simple, but won't run on my Xperia Z 6603, stock, rooted 4.3.

Hey Bishal, yes it should be compatible with Kitkat - I tested it on a Nexus 4 with 4.4.2. Would you be able to get me a logcat or could you please report the crash? Thanks!

HI Me_Ashish,
Thanks for trying it out! In regards to your concerns, the target audience for this launcher are not power users - it's a simplified launcher for those who want a simpler phone. However, I can add some of the features you requested into the next version:
1) Automatic location detection
2) Ability to directly switch to app drawer.
Also, or the internet to automatically switch off, you have to enable NetManage. Additionally, the internet will switched off 5 minutes after your screen is turned off.
Thanks again for the feedback!
On the Xperia 6603, setup starts with name and loops (fc-restart at name again), endlessly. BTW, I don't have a owner profile on my contacts app.... Will get logcat next time I run it, its 1am & tomorrow is Monday, need 2 sleep...
