[Completed] A question about the Android Revolution HD 30.1 HTC ONE M8 - XDA Assist

Hi all, i decide to install the 5.0.1 version of android revolution rom on my htc one m8, but iI read that I have to do a wipe data on AROMA if i have an old firmware (I got 2.22.401.4 CL365360 release-keys), but the question is, if I wipe data in TWRP recovery, it's the same thing? If not, how to wipe data in AROMA? Thanks in advance!

Please see my reply here
No need to make multiple threads for the same question.

Still a novice be gentle, have looked thru forum but nobody going from 2.0 to 2.9. to get info from.

[Q] Updating Cyanogenmod11

I've recently rooted my HTC One X and installed Cyanogenmod's latest nightly
I want to keep updating it as much as possible, but I don't want to do a clean install and lose all of my apps, media, etc.
Is there anyway to do this? It might be a super stupid question but I'm new to this so please help to explain
Thanks in advance

[Completed] [Q] Only one ROM will work, all others no WIFI (HTC M8)

I am having a nightmare with my HTC M8.
When I first got it , I installed Revolution HD 9.1 for Kitkat.
Problem now (especially as I want to move to Lollipop ROMS), is whatever ROM I install, the WIFI is greyed out and wont turn on.
I thought this was down to S-ON, so I moved back to a Kitkat Stock ROM and ran Sunshine.apk and now have S-OFF.
The problem is still there though. I can restore my Revolution HD 9.1 ROM and all is fine.
I tried upgrading to the latest Revolution ROM (v30) which is Lollipop without wiping settings, which worked but still No WIFI!
Can anyone please help!
Hi,
If you read the first post in most of the rom threads, as of the 4.4.4 roms and forward, your firmware needs to be up to date... On version 3.xx.xxx.
If not, WiFi will not work. ?
So, luckily with s-off on your device, updating is easy. This thread will help you... Post one has the details... Read it carefully.

If you need help with this, ask in the thread.
Good luck!

Hi,
I see you know where your device section is and have used it. Good! ?
XDA Assist is here to help navigate the site, not for support.
Thank you! Thread closed.
