Nothing beats stock 4.4.4 except 4.3
Vote for stock + Gravitybox.
Anyone not problem with WIFI on stock ROM 444 ? Unstable WIFI ?

Hi,
I bought to my wife a Motorola XT300 AKA "Spice" in Argentina and after a few weeks using it with the stock ROM (which btw sucks), I rooted it and flashed the Brazilian ROM.
That ROM solved almost all the original ROM's bugs (freezes, lags...) but also changed the baseband so now I'm unable to reach HSDPA network and have to use just EDGE.
I have a Defy with Quarx's Cyanogenmod 9 and that problem can be easily solved using Baseband switcher but unfortunately it is not compatible on XT300 so I was wondering if anybody might be able to give me a hint about how to manually change the baseband if were possible.

I recently got the dual sim variant of the Moto G and have flashed the Google Play Edition ROM...I really want to try out some of the kernels but dunno which are compatible with GPE...
Any help?

Why flashed gpe rom? Try faux kernel with stock rom. It's awesome

I have an XT1033 running on stock 5.0.2 Soak Test AsiaRetail.Please tell me how can I flash the latest CM12 nightly with working Wifi and atleast single sim.Dual sim support isn't necessary for me.
Please give me proper instructions along with kernels etc as I am a noob.

So I've been wanting to overclock my XT1033 for a while now, and I know it requires a custom kernel.
I've upgraded to lollipop, then flashed a 4.4.4 ROM (CrDroid-basically a modified CM10) and it works with no problems.
Now my question is, does the kernel I install have to be compatible with lollipop or kitkat?
Because AFAIK, I'm running a kitkat ROM on the lollipop bootloader and I don't want to screw up my phone

So i have cm12.1 right now and it runs better than motorola stock rom, but i havent tested goe rom yet so i wanted to ask, is the gpe rom better than cm12.1?
