Hey there everyone,
I am Mark, a representative from Razer’s Developer Relations team for our latest wearable – the Razer Nabu. I’m posting here to let you guys know that our wearable is available on an open SDK and we hope that you guys will be interested to sign up for our Developer Program. We also have a Reward Scheme for devs that allows you to receive up to $200 worth of RazerStore vouchers! This of course, is dependent on the quality of the app and level of integration.
Here is a quick summary of what the Razer Nabu can do
1) Receive and display notifications from your phone on the private screen
2) Activity Tracker – counts your calories, steps, distanced travelled and sleep analysis
3) Pulse – detect nearby Nabu users with Razer’s proprietary band to band technology
4) High-five – Exchanging contacts, data and triggering events with a natural social gesture
The possibilities are endless with the Razer Nabu. Apps can now take a whole new dimension by merging your offline life with your online life. The amount of sleep, calories, distance travelled or even social actions such as meet up with friends can now be exchanged for in-game bonuses.
Our initial launch has been a huge success with 10,000 units sold in under 25 seconds exclusively to our hardcore fans! As an approved developer, you’ll be eligible to purchase the Nabu Developer Edition at the special price of $49.99US.
We look forward to having you on board with us. Please feel free to contact the team at [email protected] with any questions you may have. Thank you!

I've just pre-ordered the Nabu. I've been waiting for this device for what seems like forever and I'm looking forward to what the developer community has in store for us.. but I'm a bit surprised at the lack of posts here in this thread. What kind of third party apps can we look forward to Mark? I cant wait till the device ships on the 6th of October

Hello,
would your team consider creating a feature that I've seen a lot of people across the web ask for:
Syncing with Samsung S Health app, or at least an option to manually import data from my Nabu x to S Health app.
Thanks in advance for considering.
Cheers from Portugal!

Hey guys,
I'm not the dev for this one, but it seems like an interesting app to show application analytics from data available in the developer console.
Would be interested to know who's using it/how accurate people are finding it.
Here is the appbrain link:

It literally uses your developer console it just hides that via page scraping. Its pretty slick though, however, it does have some draw backs such as you can only see comments in your language, right now it has issues seeing more than 9 apps according to the comments, and if you want to track comparisons between your app and apps from other developers this has no way to provide that for you.
Overall its definitely a solid app right now.

It does more than simply screen scrape the developer console. It saves HISTORICAL data. That means it shows you day on day changes in downloads, ratings, and active installs.
Anyway, it's working well for me, and highlighted that someone has spammed my app with 20 1 Star ratings in a single day!
Well yes but thats not how it works thats just what it does with the data after its retrieved. Sorry for the confusion. ;-)
Get notified on every sale via Google Payment/Wallet for your apps or games!
(Sorry about posting here, all other apps are dead, mine is the only working one!)
New Google Payments Page is NOW supported (formerly Google Wallet/Checkout)!
Get notified on new sales from Google publisher/developer page.
Check out your application sales or other products. Trends, pie chart, daily/weekly/monthly summary and much more!
You can filter your results by product, date and country.
These filters can be combined in the diagrammes and order overview!
You have to login with your Google account.
Hint: The initial loading could take some minutes (depending of your order count)!
Further updates fetch only new orders and are very fast. Maybe you have to click manually on the top refresh button for the first time.
Functions:
■ Chronological overview of your sells order by product
■ Pie chart: Sales by products
■ Pie chart: Sales by country
■ Pie chart: Status of sales
■ Bar chart: Sales per weekday
■ Bar chart: Sales per hour
■ New Homescreen widget (> Android 3.x) for today sales added (works also for lockscreen!)
Old merchant accounts are also supported.
Thanks devs for your good feedback!

Friday is an automated journal for Android meant to augment human memory. Users can ask the app questions about events in their lives and Friday will provide accurate results.
Friday brings in a new dimension to your smartphone,a new purpose, Friday brings Self Discovery. You carry your phone with you almost all the time, but it merely acts as your jukebox, camera or a playstation apart from being a communication device. We realized that we could turn the smartphone into a bitbucket of your life. It takes every bit of information you can give and builds a personality, a journal, an oracle that knows you and could give you answers from your own life. Friday helps you discover yourself, what you do, where you go, whom you talk to and much more.
This is just the "what?" part of it. But more is interesting is "how?". Friday Alpha is the outcome over 16 months of effort from our dedicated team of engineers, architects and designers. We have done over 10 iterations of the product before getting it to the current form. From the user interface to the artwork to the engine, we have put a lot of original designs which would make friday a great experience.

What it is: Kicktrade is a free virtual multiplayer stock market, where you take on the role of an investor who buys and sells shares of the football teams currently participating in the Euro Cup event. Imagine the teams being like the companies on a real market and you compete against other players trying to make the most virtual money out of their development during the competition. Think of it like betting, but in a different way... although be aware that you neither pay or win any real money!
What's the idea behind it: The game is targeted to be casual with simple user interaction (you should be able to start playing immediately even without registering anywhere) but developing a high addiction factor, which can lead to micro management and wanting to understand the mechanics behind the system - but this is not required to play. The development of the prices should in the end reflect the expectations of the players in their teams and their real performance during the matches.
How the market works: The "companies" that you can trade start into the market with a price reflecting their FIFA ranking. You can take their development on the market or the matches into account to make a decision to buy and sell their stock. There is a bank that constantly buys and sells shares from and to you. The prices to buy and sell start above their current value to buy and below their current value to sell. However, those bank offers are adjusted in periods, so you will have to make a decision to buy or sell before someone else does - but also not too quickly because you then might waste money. Once a transaction has been made, the price of the company is adjusted to the transaction price (taking the trade volume into account) and the new buy and sell prices are calculated (and the cycle begins again).
Installation: I attached the game to this post (as the forum does not allow me to post any links yet). Since you are all privacy aware: You will have to accept 3 permissions to be able to play the game:
INTERNET : obviously to connect to the game server to fetch game data and send your actions.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE : to store cache data on your SD card. For example the icons of the teams in the market. All data can be wiped in the preference menu.
READ_PHONE_STATE : to read the IMEI of your phone for authentication with the game server. No other information will be taken from your phone. This is required to prevent players from creating multiple accounts.
The development: This project has been implemented by one person alone (me) during free time as a learning project and is still in a testing phase. It is to my knowledge now bug free so I decided to enter the phase where more testers create more dynamics. This will allow me to tweak the game mechanics under more realistic circumstances. It is my first Android project, so any suggestions or comments are very welcome! (For example, if the required permissions prevent you from considering installing it and why)
The future of Kicktrade: The idea is to make more versions of the game to run during the longer running competition of several leagues in different countries. The Euro Cup is a perfect testing ground before release on leagues as it is a lot shorter with matches nearly every day. Until the end of the event I would like to have perfected the game mechanics and only afterwards I would like improve the UI and the code.
Keep up to date: You can follow the news on twitter @kicktradegame as well as on Facebook, or you can google for 'kicktrade' to find my blog called NeoZenCortexis among the first results. When there is a new version of the client available, you will see an update button on the main menu of the game. It is not always required to update but highly recommended (if you see an access denied message it could mean you should consider updating). At some point in the future, the game will also be uploaded to Google Play and get its own website but my free time is limited at the moment, so I will take it step by step.
How can you help: Most importantly, try the game yourself and/or invite your friends to play. I especially require feedback on the game mechanics at this stage of development and this requires a more dynamic market - although any other suggestion or comment is very appreciated as well. I have tested the game so far on Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy S II, Google Nexus and a couple of HTC devices but none of them has hardware keyboards, so I expect some trouble there. Feel free to comment if you encounter any strange behavior with those. Also other than hi-res displays have not been tested.
Thanks: I would like thank all the people at XDA Developers and StackOverflow for the many hints I researched while learning how to work with android phones and ultimately even make my own app! Keep it up!!
I would be very happy if you help me test my game! For any questions or suggestions, contact me on twitter @kicktradegame, facebook or my blog (search for 'kicktrade'). Thank you very much in advance!!
Nice. .Vl try it out. ..
<3 I love football <3
Cool! Let me know if you need any help or advice... I really appreciate all feedback and I hope you enjoy!!
I had to slow down price development during the night (CET) until we have some more players from outside of europe... otherwise some of the teams dropped too far.

Kicktrade v0.25 released
Let's experiment a little. There was one thing in the game mechanics I was not very happy with: If you buy a share that not many people hold and nobody else is going to buy, your profit should be very small. But if your trade starts a trend on the market - let's say you buy and several other investors follow your example, you should get the best prices in average. Same thing with selling: if a lot of people hold a stock and you are the first to sell, you should get better prices than those who decide to sell last. I hope to bring more fluctuation on the market and make your decision depending on the trend you expect to see in the future. Of course this will most likely work best with more players, but let's give it a try now anyway, shall we?
One side effect of this will also be that teams which already went out of the competition and not many people are likely to be interested in are a great risk to buy, because the sell price will only increase if players follow your example. Otherwise the price might even go down, as the buy price is considerably lower now.
Further modifications in this version:
Fixed a bug: when you sell your complete depot of a share, you were still counted as an investor. This will be adjusted with the next trade on each team (only then, because those numbers are only calculated when trading).
Number of investors are now displayed (this information is important to you so you can make a decision with the changes above)
Switched position of the tabs "Depot" and "History", which increased performance (the history loads slower than the depot because it contains more entries and will now only be pre-loaded once you switch one tab to the depot).
The history now shows the last 100 trade entries when entering the tab. You can load more (if available) by scrolling all the way down.
The history graph shows the same amount of items that are in the list. Which means it will show up to 100 past trades now (before it was 20). If you scroll down the list of items before and more items are loaded, the graph will display them as well.
Performance has been increased on all list views.
Please comment on the changes, no matter if you feel they make the game better, worse or not very different at all... Thanks and let's see how the market develops now with so many teams out of the competition.
[APP][4.0+] "CMX" Crowd.mx -- chat and leave notes where you are... anonymously!
Hello XDA!
I'd like to present crowd.mx or CMX as we've started calling it. It's a location based anonymous chat / note dropping app. We've been working on it for some time and we think it's really cool and would like to share it with the community here at XDA.
CMX has 3 simple functions one on each tab:
[Tab 1] CMX connects you in a chat room with the nearest CMX users. We literally mean nearest. If it's late at night and nobody is on, it will get people from all over the world for you to chat with. If you're at a concert with a lot of users nearby or on at a busy time, you will only see chat that's happening nearby. You have your own personal 'chat sphere' that re-sizes itself for you to have people to talk with. That way, there will always be someone on for you to chat with. If you want to talk more privately, like most chat apps, you can select users and send them private messages.
We think Tab 1 is really frickin cool.
[Tab 2] If you like Tab 1, this tab is even cooler. Here you can leave public notes at different locations. The notes persist at that spot and can be seen in a 100m radius around where you dropped it. You can have a group meet you on top of Mt. Everest and have a private conversation there. You can leave a suggestion at a restaurant *in* the restaurant for people who eat there later. You could announce to your neighbors that you have a BBQ coming up. You don't just have to leave public notes, we even allow you to leave hidden notes which are only visible to the user you selected... even if that user is yourself. You could drop a note with your locker number over your locker or leave love notes for your wife. There are a lot of crazy interesting things you can do with this. Like many social apps, this aspect of our app really needs lots of users to be cool. That's why we made Tab 1... to keep you entertained in the mean time!
[Tab 3] This tab has two purposes. It mainly functions to let you control where you are. So if there's a major event going on somewhere in the world, you can go there and chat directly with the people there.
This tab also serves as a place where you can 'make an announcement.' Announcements are a premium service that you have to pay for. They're kinda like the big-brother to the notes in Tab 2. You can choose what radius you want them to be seen within and they will re-broadcast themselves to people chatting in the area.
Finally,
We've worked really hard to make this service as anonymous as we can. There's no login. No usernames. No facebook. No anything. You can get on and start chatting/dropping notes right away.
We welcome you to come join us in the chat, drop silly notes around town, and give us feedback so we can keep working to make this app cooler and more fun for everyone.

====================================================================================
More Questions for the curious:
Q: Who made the app?
A: Myself and a friend, both of us recent physics phds... novice app developers!
Q: Where did the app come from?
A: A few years ago, we had a vision for a news app that would let the people report the news around them. While finishing our degrees, we worked on the infrastructure for the app in our spare time. Along the way, we came up with some pretty cool algorithms for indexing information by geography and other stuff. After we graduated, we set out to make that news app, but it was too big! So we looked at all the cool stuff we made for the backend and decided use it in a social app instead. So here's that app! We hope it's the first of many apps.
Q: What do you mean by anonymous?
A: Well, we really mean that we're committed to trying not to save or collect info from you. BUT, we have also taken extra measures to encrypt transmissions, encrypt data in the database, and discard information as soon as we don't need it. We'll continually work to improve on these as we get more experience. If CMX sees any success, we hope to hire experts far more proficient than us! If you're interested in more information about our security measures, we invite you to read our technical description on our message board. You can find the link in the playstore or in the app.
Q: Can I post anything?
A: Well, our hosting service does not allow porn. So you can 'report' people who have posted porn. And we can ban people who have posted porn. Also, we have protections in place to protect us from bot-spam.
Q: How can you ban someone for posting porn, if you don't track them?!
A: It's complicated. You should probably read the technical description mentioned in the anonymous section.
Q: How long will the app be in Beta?
A: Uhh, tough question!
Q: Why does it not show all the chat from when I was last on?
A: The messages sent to the Chat tab are *NOT* stored on our servers. They are redirected to the clients within range. So if your client loses its connection to our servers, you will not receive those chats. If your phone gets low on resources, it may close the service. We chose to do this to further protect people's identity.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it.
-Foolish John

We're in the process of planning a crypto-currency scavenger hunt to have fun with some of the location aware features for our early users. So hopefully, there will be a fun activity for people trying the app out in the near future.
MUCH CURRENCY! :highfive:
Shamelessly bumping to find more interested users!

Seriously... *hint* *hint!*
Seriously - we get a lot of people saying they love the idea but they just wish more people were on.
If you really think the idea is cool, keep the app open and check in on it and join the chat every once in a while. It'll naturally get more busy as people do that.
And it won't be too long before there are enough people to start enjoying some of the cooler aspects of it.

Its simple and efficient for now. More apps the better but other than that no need to clutter it IMO.
@woomera Thanks! Appreciate the compliment. I'm trying to get all the discounts available from all three platforms, everyday
More feedback is of course appreciated. And any tips on how to start promoting the website / attract more visitors?
Also, if you're a developer of an app (or apps) you can register for free and if your app(s) goes in discount the website will highlight it automatically.
Looking forward to more tips/feedback
More feedback is of course appreciated, anything is welcome Also, I'm quite curious if anyone is using the website or if not, why not. And do you think I should develop an Android app for the discounts as well?
Thanks!
An app version would be convenient. Maybe add a "search" button?
@pistacios The search function has been implemented And an app is coming soon
We just released a new design with new functionality to show the app discount love Check it out at d-apps.net and let me know what you think of it!
Some new functionality:
- Search!
- Follow an app if you don't want to buy it now so you will receive an email when the price changes
- Better overview of the apps
- Cool live animation to show how many apps are being checked
- And a bit earlier we also implemented Pushbullet support so you can receive direct push messages on your Android or iOS phone/tablet.
Looking forward to some feedback, thanks!
Some feedback is appreciated Negative or positive
An Android app is coming soon but to stay updated with the latest discounts you can subscribe to the Pushbullet, Twitter or subscribe for the newsletter.
Thanks!

As a developer I find it very weird that I need to register and pay to inform your site that my in app purchase is on sale.
I Can understand that you might want to ask a fee to put the app in a featured spot on your website, but I don't understand why it has to be this way just to get listed on the site. A Simple submit form would be easier. I Tried registering to add my apps discount that it currently has to your site, but I can not enter any information about the discount. My app is set so that it has a separate in app item for discounts compared to the regular item, this way I do not have to update the prices when the app is on sale. But I think it means that my app can not be listed on your site as being on sale?

Thanks for the feedback! The case you mention is an interesting one: not changing the price on the in-app product but adding a new in-app product for the discount.
Normally only changes in existing prices will be found and added to the website but in your case a form on the website would be the only way to submit your app since the system doesn't pick up the discount.
However, every app discount is added for free, only for being featured a developer can pay.
When you register and create an account (for free):
- The apps you add will be checked more often for discounts and if found added to the website
- The time between discounts before they get added to the website decreases from 4 weeks for unregistered devs to 3 weeks
When you use a credit for a discount (paid):
- The app will be featured on the website
- The app will always be shown no matter what filter a user chooses
- The time between discounts before they get added to the website decreases from 3 weeks for free registered devs to 1 week
But since you don't have a change in price but a new price for the discount I will try to implement a form where a developer can add information about the discount. However I do am curious what you saw that made you think you need to pay to be listed on the website so we can change that. Every app can be listed on the website Thanks for the feedback!
Or maybe you could fetch the price information from the in app purchases, I guess a developer would have to be able to select which in app purchases is replacing which in app purchase. The developer would also need to have to be able to specify the end date when the discount ends (and maybe even set a start date so you can schedule a discount in advance)
As far as why I thought I had to pay to list my apps on your site, I think I was just a bit to tired haha, it was late last night. I Was just a bit confused about that featured option, I thought it ment that to get listed on the front page of your website you needed to pay, but I now have seen that there is a separate featured list on the front page.
@Cubeactive We're working on implementing it like that, thanks for the feedback! I hope you did get some rest after all
Does anyone else have some feedback on the website and/or tips on how to improve it or be more useful to the end user? Thanks!
Nice to hear. Make sure to post an update here when it's done, I'll really want to take a look at it to see if it can be used in my situation.
We just released the brand new Android app "Discount Apps" which offers the same interesting discounts as D-Apps.net does.
