Hello,
Iv'e played a little with my friends G3 and really liked some of its camera features.
Is it possible to get the G3's camera on my OPO?
Thanks!
+1 i want to so much
I had the g3. Camera app is nothing special.

If only this were possible. I think there are files from the framework that will be necessary though.
Opo cam app is so much better... One of the reasons i sold my g3
I currently have the LG G3 and the OPO. I must say, the camera software on the G3 is lacking in the features department. It it's so basic, that it is fair to say that, if you root you G3, the next step is to install LG XCam.

The one thing I miss from my g3 is the picture in picture option. Where you could take a picture of yourself and the person in front of you

The LG G2 has a similar camera but takes much better pictures because the software processing is much, much better. How can I port the LG G2 Camera.apk to the Nexus 5 on a stock ROM?
Seems everyone agrees the stock camera is pretty bollocks.
LG G2 Also has 5 extra MP where many say Mega Pixes don't matter but both are made from the same guy with the same sensor, then it does.

Most people know that aosp camera sucks. Possible the lg camera app is optimized for that piece of hardware

I have them both and the g2 takes ****ty cameras. Anyways to port the g2 camera you need the g2 framework as well so dream about it.
What is everyone's update on the motogallery? Like it or hate it?

I like it. Very "KitKat" looking. I don't take many pictures nor do I care much about photography (obviously or I wouldn't have a Motorola.) The photos look better and brighter. Likely the UI or placebo I know. Regardless I like.

If you don't like it you can ways just use the "last" view on the list and it's basically identical to the old gallery.

Still no connection to picasa web albums.

much more Kit Kat themed...which is nice, except for the fact that Motorola decided not to theme the overall OS the same way on the Droid line...

Thank you, but I went ahead and installed the aosp gallery. I would have much preferred that google integrate it with the new app though.

Hi guys,
I noticed that when I take pictures with google camera App, they are Dithered!
Compared to my Stock Camera App and compared to Focal camera App it's very noticeable!
I like google's camera, but it's a shame if this problem exist in other devices too...
So I've got Galaxy S4 (i9500) and I'm running WanamLite V4 - 4.4.2, but I just want to check with you guys if
this problem exist on your devices too...
This is how it looks on my camera apps
look at the sky, can you see the Dithering in colors?
Please let me know if you have this problem too...
Cheers
:fingers-crossed:
That would be up to Google to fix, I personally would stick with the Samsung camera, the image looks allot better.

Thanks, as for now, I'm back to Samsung camera...
Pity, I like google's minimalistic UI... and Lens blur is cool too...
Thanks!
It is, it makes a huge difference on the Nexus 5 but in upcoming updates just try and see if the image has the same problem.

Only stock seems to be able to use the ir focus.
Can download CM Apps From the playstore also which has all CM apps available to download and use.
CM12
Works great on CM12 for the LG G3 D850, just for anyone wondering.

Hello
I have Galaxy S6 920F 64GB with ISOCELL Sensor and I've noticed that there is a difference with the photos size at different external camera software like open camera or camera fv-5
for example:
in camera fv-5 with 100% photo quality in the settings and 16mpx I took a picture in the same position and light
and also with the stock camera I do the same with 16mpx and auto mode like fv-5
in fv-5 the size of the phone is 10mb and in stock camera on 5mb
can someone check with his own galaxy if he gets the same results?
maybe in the stock camera the camera is set to shot at lower photo quality percent like 90% or 95%
can it be?
please help
I've noticed the same thing using the stock camera and Camera FV-5. Photos with Camera FV-5 are a little more detailed than with stock camera too.

and do u have any idea why is that?
First of all, a photo more detailed is obviously bigger and that's the main reason. Then it's probably related to the compression algorithm of FV-5 that's maybe less aggressive. Between today and tomorrow I'll try Az-Camera.. I'll update you mate!

UPDATE: Photos are a lesser detailed than FV-5, at least for me!
