[Completed] need a rom for my s2 plus - XDA Assist

Im new here and im looking for a custom rom for my galaxy s2 plus GT-I9105P preferably kitkat. I know there are posts about it here but i want one which everyone agrees is the most stable and with lesser bugs.
can anyone please link me to the best one? also some instructions will be much appreciated because ive only installed a rom once...
help will be much appreciated

Hi,
Most people will tell you to flash different roms and decide what's best for you. As everyone will have a different opinion about what works best. Reading the last several pages of each rom thread is the best way to see what issues are being discussed. And sometimes the first post will cover any known issues.
So, here is your device section,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2-plus
Browse the development and original development sections for various roms available.
If you insist on asking for others opinions, you can ask about it in the Q&A section.
Good luck!

[Q] Best jellybean rom?

ok so my friend has got galaxy sl but is a complete noob on android development. he wants to install jellybean on his phone and I don't know which is the most stable rom. he is currently on stock GB so guys plz recommend one.
Hi,
You shouldn´t post this kind of things in the Developers Section. This is a place for developers to post their work.
There´s a General Section to post this kind of threads. Also, before posting, search within the thread, because usually someone asked the same you are looking for, as in this case.

[Completed] Samsung S7390

Hi All,
I'm Jack Droid and I'm a new member.
I have a Samsung Smartphone model S7390.
Surfing into the internet, I understood that the android development for this device is not so interesting.
Maybe because that device is not so appreciated but anyway, I have this model!
Moreover, I did the root and I found an CWM recovery that it's ok for it but what I have never found, is a custom rom.
My question is : do you know if exist a device that could be very similar to Trend Lite S7390 so that I can use a rom for that and try to flash into my device ?
Many thansk for your attention and waiting for your kind reply.
All the best
Max
You are right there isn't much development on this device. You may wish to pose a question in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and one of the experts will respond if there is a Rom.
I will also provide advice from my colleague @demkantor. It is very rare that you can flash a ROM meant for one device to another, for the most part you can never do this and attempting can lead to a brick.

Hi Perseus71,
many many thanks for your kind reply!
Considering the situation of development on my device,I'm already lucky to have found a CF Root and a CWM recovery that working well !
Anyway, I would like to try a custom rom because I like to try new solution and find better perfomance as possible!
Moreover, I found inf into the web but I didn't find a device that was the same as mine,
The only quite similar is S5820 that has good development but it is dual core cpu if I remember well...
You are better helped by specific experts if you post the question on the forum I linked.

[Completed] [Q] ParanoidAndroid isn't going to brick Nexus 5, right?

This Rom looks so good I want to get it. I flashed many different roms on different devices before but JUST THIS ROM I have never used. Because I see people saying this is bricking their devices. Can someone please confirm that this is good to use? Thanks
Hi,
Anything can potentially harm our devices in this hobby. Anyone not willing to risk that needs to not root or do any other modifications to their device. Because everything we do has the possibility to cause severe issues. That's why there are warnings to flash at your own risk in just about every thread that involves flashing anything.
That all said, I frequent the N5 forum and have never heard such a thing about any rom... Including PA. Why not read the last several pages of the rom thread if you are concerned? Any common issues or bugs will be discussed.
Also, I see you are familiar with your device section and have already posted in it several times.
So, please check out the rom thread, read the opening post and the last several pages and decide if you want to try it.
And remember.... Flash at your own risk. Or don't. It's up to you. ?
XDA Assist is here to help members navigate the site, not for support or discussions.
Please post questions in the N5 Q&A section in the future. ?
Thank you for understanding, thread closed.

[Completed] [Q] How to install kitkat 4.4.4 on SGY GT-5360

As the title said. I was already saw it on youtube, some of replies says It doesn't work so I'm afraid to do it. Even if I try it I don't know how to do it. Cuz I'm new in this kinda knowledge-base So anyone who can help me? T.i.a. (Thanks in Advance)
btw(by the way) this is my first Thread. And btw Sorry bout my crappy English
Hi,
Here is your device section...
> Legacy & Low Activity Devices > Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360
It up to you to decide if kit Kat roms are for you. Read the kit Kat rom threads in the development sections and you'll read about bugs or issues they may have. Everything we do here is flash at your own risk , so it's our decision to flash or not. Read the threads and especially the opening posts and decide if you want to flash it.
Any questions going forward can be asked in the rom threads if rom related, or the Q&A section otherwise.
Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.

[Completed] [Q] Planning to start building my own ROM, a cry for help (Samsung G. Grand Prime VE)

Firstly, happy new year to everyone c:
As the title says, I'm considering making my own ROM for the SM-G731F.
I've lurked around XDA for quite a while now and I can't seem to find a guide that's able to clarify the process for me.
So I decided to make a post here,
The ROM I want to make should be something as close to AOSP as possible (for what I've seen, no Cyanogen or ROMs alike are available, so..), but my programming skills are lacking.
Even with guides about building or porting ROMs I haven't yet figured out where to start.
So here come a few questions:
1. Can I build a AOSP ROM for my Samsung device (AFAIK I need some base ROM right?)
2. Assuming that porting is not an option, is building a ROM from scratch a viable way to do this? (Even though my programming skills are close to none I've had some experience with C and I'm willing to put in the effort)
3. What will be the main challenges to this?
Cheers,
