Hello, I have a ascend g630 and I was wondering if anyone has rooted one and if so what are the advantages and disadvantages. Also if I decide to root it what would be the best way.
I plan on getting an android 5.0 lollipop rom.
Also if you don't want to write an essay there is a pole.
Huawei G630-U20 stock android 4.3. When i connect my phone to TV using usb cable i have option to run MASS STORAGE but can only accrss internal storage. CANT ACCESS SD CARD.

for passing a KitKat to wait porting CM11 (which has problems of lack audio in calls and WiFi), the root can use iRoot, PC software (China is) while the CWM can see the wiki page on phone xda ... leaves a like!
As you may know;Huawei has released a phone called ascend y520 which has the same hardware as the Ascend y511 but for the camera which is 5mp instead of just 3mp. And for the software it runs android kitkat 4.4.2
So I wonder if it could be ported to Ascend y511 concerning that they both have
a mt6572 chipset
or if I can just install the y520 firmware to the y511 and get everything to work but the camera?
my questions might be silly but I'm new to android developping.

It was announced that KingRoot supports rooting Gionee S7. I tried it on a X2 Soul Pro, and didn't work (different identification strings). The count for support for this model was at ~30.000. How could we get the message to KingRoot that the phones very likely have the same necessary software?

Currently KINGROOT is working. I have the latest firmware and KingRoot 4.3.9 (must be minimum this version) and root is done
