Hi XDA, I bring to you a mod to remove those annoying dots on the samsung s4
Disclamer: You apply the fix at your own risk. I'm not responsible for any software or hardware damage it can lead. The only thing i can assure is that i've tested this MOD on my I337M and works fine.
Steps:
Download the file
Put the downloaded file on MicroSD
Flash it through CWM (Recommended)
Reboot
Enjoy!

put apk in system folder and give it right permissions, then reboot phone and you will have snote (not smemo) in your drawer

Thanks! Works great with Echoe Rom v11 4.3 ML1 :good:
May be just one comment for the file replacement to avoid any problems if some folks just drop your modified apk in the apps folder. In the modded roms the file names might vary, e.g. in my case the file was named SecMyFiles2.apk due to changes made by the rom cooker I guess.

It very easy ... Download (CarHd Rom v15) open it via WinZip and Open System/app .
Then extract it to your Desktop and then put it on your internal oder ext. storage . Rootexplorer put it back to System/app and replace it. Done.

a well optimzed older smartphone is not as slow as you think. my last antutu benchmark was about 23700 with my gt-i9300

I want to change the default options like Dropbox, videos, documents, etc available to custom locations.
Does anyone know where to find a non-corrupted electronic copy of the manaul ? The one on the webiste is corrupted after page 17 (well 17-50 or so).

What does the error say? If it's something like not enough memory/storage, then you might have used lucky patcher and odexed something in /data/app.
If that's the case, you should delete the lost odex file, or use the lucky patcher, it can remove it automatically.
If that is not the case, please elaborate.

I think ur package installer has malfunctioned.
The package installer is responsible for installing apps that are downloaded from play store or any other source.
Its in the /system/app/ folder of the root.
If u are on a rooted device then by using root explorer mount system as RW push the Packageinstaller.apk into the /system/app/ & set the permission as rw-r-r

that problem is because the .odex files in data folder created by aps like lucky patcher
Hi, my Galaxy GT-I8262 is downloading different apps automatically even i reset it and also do it hard reset but when i connect the wifi it starts downloading apps automatically can anybody tell me how can i solve it??/

Sorry, I don't know because I have my device odex. Mounting r/o is on root explorer, to replace .apk everybody knows it.
So please confirm and tell me bro the soln for this to make this work and @CoreGuy thanks for explaining him....

If u're using stock rom then it is called odexed room, it takes up space and the settings of the file (apk) is stored it there. Almost every apk file creates its odex file.
I didn't flashed just replace the apk file downloaded from here, and it worked
