Root Xperia Neo 2.3.4 with bootloader unlocked? (solved)

have the Xperia Neo with bootloader unlocked with 2.3.4 but I have not root.
As root I can be without downgrade? I read that if you can leave the downdrade Xperia Neo as a brick.
I try CyanogenMod-7.1 but I need to be root

2 - In the site that give you courage or desire to believe a folder with the name you wish (I've created on your desktop with the name of Fasboot) within this folder copy the two files

3 - Unzip fastboot_with_Android_USB_file with the same name within the folders are and USB_Driver fastboot, connect with the Xperia Neo USB by pressing the MENU key, repeat .... the MENU key is the right one

Unzip the file drivers
Search manually the path where you unzipped the folder tengais USB_Driver, is within the fastboot folder
I will come out two options, choose the second name that comes with bootloader, can not remember the full name
4 - Wait to load the drivers
5 - In the fastboot folder press shift (is the shift key) and click the right mouse button in the folder.
Select Open Command Windows Here
6 - In the windows command window paste this command:>> getvar 0x0fce fastboot.exe-i version
7 - If you return a figure means that it is done correctly
8 - paste this command:>>-i fastboot.exe 0x0fce oem unlock 0x [add the serial you've gotten on page h ** p: / / unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com / instructions]
9 - In less than 4 seconds you open bootloader

If you connect the USB to the PC you out the blue light on the power key is that you can open the bootloader, if a different color because you can not leave

How To Use :
Download the All-in-One Tool for Zenfone 5.7z from the download link.
Extract it with 7zip Zip manager.
Run the ROOT.bat in your PC.
Reboot your Zenfone 5 into Bootloader. To do this, power off your device first. Then press Power Button + Volume Up Button together.
Connect your Zenfone 5 to your PC with a USB Cable.
Follow the Onscreen Instructions on the ROOT.bat to Root, Unroot or whatever you want to do. Go to the HELP menu to know more about the tool.

Useful Tips :

To flash RECOVERY.img, rename the .img file without space and place it in the 'RECOVERY' folder

But it worked for others. You are in windows right? And use letest version of 7zip. Winzip or other archive managers may not work.

Only need to extract the folder from the zip to desktop and execute G6SKnife.exe, read the options.
The phone must be ON like normally you use it, plug USB and choose MTP connection and turn debug mode ON.
Start with the ( 0 ) options and if don't work go to the ( f ) option to see what you need to do.
The Java checkup is because need it for the deodex tool.
I can't try the Bootloader unlock option because im already unlocked, if any one try it, please, tell if works.
I'm not accept responsibility for any damage. It has been tested on my L11 phone and the same is working properly. U10 users use the U options and work for them to.

I tried to combine a series of tools in one software.
Deodex ROM
Flash TWRP
Flash CWM
Flash the stock recoverys
Rebuild the Dalvik-cache
Start in Fastboot mode
Start in Recovery mode
Restarting from the fastboot mode
flash the stock system
Pull ROM images and do a backup in to a zip file. that can be flashed
To use only extract to desktop, open the folder and execute G6SKnife.exe.
If you want to use any other cmd funtion, use the CmdTool.exe.
Any bug, please report!

It has been tested on my phone the same is working properly . The Model U could not test im a L11 user.

rooting with kinguser not going well
Hello.
I got a problem with rooting,
1. I install the tool
2. I unlock the bootloader
3. I flash twrp
4. I install kinguser (option 18) didn't work so I booted in recovery and install kinguser.zip.
Now my phone is rebooting every 3 minutes,
I disabled kinguser in app manager and the rebooting problems solved, but now my phone is not rooted!
Please help!

Which version of kinguser did you try?
Go to Facebook group page and download the kinguser.zip from there. For me it always works on g6-l11 and u-10

It's the same kinguser 3.4.0

Thanx for this one, but bootloader unlock isn't working. You have to have a code, I don't have one, so it says 'invalid key'. No i'm back stuck in fastboot mode where it says 'recovery image verify failed' followed by 'please updat to the authorised images'. So, this is not going well, dunno what to do...

I'm wondering if anyone here, or elsewhere, heard of someone who has sucessfully rooted and securely flashed this phone with a different ROM?
I'm still suprised that it still performs functionwise, like new after two months+ of battering and several underwater excursions with me at work on location at different construction sites, that the promised safety class of IP 69K still holds water and for a suspiciously low price...
So if anyone has a foolproof way of rooting it for
a better chance of personalizing 'The Brute'? Let me know!

i'm reviewing this device right now, and i get on trouble that i can´t get the firmware.
anyone here know where i can get it?
checking on the manufacturer webpage, there are some files for download, but none of them appears to be the firmware.
i'll suscribe to this thread for any reply that can help to users of this phone. ^_^ (and i will post here any info i consider relevant for you too)

Can you explain from what update exactly you picked the boot.img to flash ? From the link provided by Mr Roombag in this thread ? Cause it's a 6.0 stock version whereas the phone runs a 7.0 one...
What do you mean for your 4th step "patch in phone" ?
And why the step to copy boot.img to the phone as SP Flash Tools needs the file to be on the PC ?

I share web address. It is best for this phone.
I copy boot.img from last update (i flash this ROM) and path this in magisk manager, after this copy back to PC and flash by SP Flash tool. If you want flash all togedher with new ROM(must select or rename patch_boot.img).

A theory about unlocking Nokia 5.1 plus bootloader for free (for the most part)

According to this post. There are 3 partitions (efuse, sec1 and seccfg) storing the unlock status of the bootloader. So I theorize that we maybe can unlock the bootloader(without revealing the IMEI of the phone because the IMEI will be the same before and after unlocking the bootloader, so it will not show as a difference when using WinMerge). So if someone creates a full backup of the phone using SP flash tool. And then use a paid service to unlock the bootloader. And then create another full backup and compare the 3 partitions (efuse, sec1 and seccfg) before and after unlocking the bootloader using a hex diff tool like WinMerge.
1- you need to download SP flash tool from here. After the download. Install the USB driver just right click on "cdc-acm.inf" file and select "Install" in the appearing context menu.
2- open SP flash tool and select the Scatter File(PDA-0-214A-MT6771_Android_scatter.txt) and Download Agent(PDA-0-0040-0000-MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin) that exist in the same folder you downloaded.

Go to the "Read back" tab and click on "add".
And choose the location you want to save the backup. Change the length to 0x1b7800000. And then press OK.
After that click on "Read Back". Then power off your phone and connect your phone to PC with both volume keys pressed and holded.
When you see a progress bar moving, you can release both keys and wait for the procedure to complete
3- use a paid service to unlock the bootloader
4- repeat step 1 and 2 and create another backup after unlocking the bootloader
5- install and use 7-zip to extract the partition image from backups.
For the backup before unlocking the bootloader copy (efuse, sec1 and seccfg) to the folder named before-unlock. And for the backup after unlocking the bootloader copy the 3 files to after-unlock
6- download WinMerge from this link (it is a portable version) open WinMerge. After that press Ctrl+O after that click on options and change (*.bin;*.frx) to (*.bin;*.img) and then press OK
after that click on compare
7- WinMerge will look like this (this is just an example).
You can jump to the next diff using Alt+down arrow, and you can jump to the previous diff by using Alt+ up arrow
8-you just need to screenshot every diff between the 3 files and send the images to me or post it on Imgur in the replays
I will try to patch the files using a hex editor based on the hex diff screenshots. And try to flash it to see if I am able to unlock my bootloader. it may or may not work, but it is worth to try

I will consider doing that if there is any custom ROM available for Nokia 5.1 plus

I have a way to get the nokia 5.1 plus booloader to open. that is, by using the MTK client it only takes a few seconds. and it's free
