I want to know if it's possible as I don't have a usb port (it popped out it's socket) I charged it by modifying the pogo pins.
I have a stock nexus 7 2012 16gb running KitKat 4.4.4 (Bought used it's why it did not have a usb socket and was just dead) I've tried Towelroot, rootmaster, and farmaroot all failed -_- so I need some help downgrading or somehow root my device. Thanks.
Ps. I do have the sdk and factory firmware all set on pc.
Hi,
Unfortunately, you'll need usb connection to unlock the bootloader if frama root isn't working. However, you should run this by the guys over at the Nexus 7 forums and see if they come up with anything:

can anyone tell me is that any problem if i root my refurbished Nexus 5 ?
Pls tell me i want to root my nexus 5..
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. I can't see why rooting a refurbished unit would be any different from rooting a new unit. Check out this thread:
[GUIDE] Nexus 5 - How to Unlock Bootloader, Install Custom Recovery and Root
Thread closed, thanks.
Hello,
I unlocked the Nexus 5 with CF-Auto-Root (http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/#fastboot), and installed Android 5.1 and did root.
When everything was running OK I installed this program "BootUnlocker for Nexus Devices" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.segv11.bootunlocker) to leave again locked (just if I ever had to send it to repair ...)
Now the problem is that using mobile battery ran out and now it doesn't start (tries to, but just stopping).
My intention is to reinstall the stock ROM without delete the 'data' to not lose anything, but I can't start the recovery mode because it appears as locked.
Any idea?
Thank You
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It would be best to ask your question here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46762104. It's a dedicated thread for the Nexus 5

I attempted to flash my Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition WI-FI tablet for the first time. When I attempted to Install TWRP it displayed an error message and rebooted my device into a TWRP UI. The touch screen would not work, prevemting me from doing anything on this UI. does anyone know how I could bypass TWRP or reinstall an older more reliable version?

Hi, I was trying to root Samsung S3 mini (GT-I8190) and install a rom with higher android version than the official because the official one is getting incompatible with apps and so on.
I rooted it and while I was going to install TWRP recovery, I got the error that said to me that bootloader was locked, so I tryed to unlock it using EZ unlock. When I unlocked it, it runs out of power and accidentally turned off.
The problem is that now it doesn't turn on (doesn't boot), doesn't show any signal of life and of course, is not detected by my computer, so it's bricked now. Also, it doesn't show any sign of life while trying to charge an all.
What can I do?
How can I turn on my phone again?
Thanks
PS: It's out of warranty, of course, so technical support by Samsung it's not a viable option to me.
