Hmm ... there was a tutorial here: [Tutorial] Rooting the Sprint GalaxyS3 the Easy Way, but as it is locked and removed now, it may be no longer valid.
I found a thread about a similar topic here: [Q] How to Root or Read MSL / SPC on Galaxy S3 SCH S960L Tracfone.
Best is to ask your question in the Sprint Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Are you a NOOB? Ask any NOOB questions here.
BTW, general rooting information about the Sprint S3 can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-sprint#root.
Good luck !

I have searched the forums for my device, and other people's posts trying to find a way to root my device. Towelroot did not work for me. I read that i could install Philz touch recovery and root with that, but i cannot find the version of that for my phone. If somebody could point me in the direction of a method to root my phone, i would very much appreciate it
Hi there,
If you don't find any method in the thread listed bellow, then you must post a question in the proper forum AT&T Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.

[Completed] [Q] Help with rooting Samsung S3 i9300

Hi I have recently bought an SGS3 and have started thinking about rooting it. So i looked around for the best method and decided to go with this one: How To Root S3 on Mac OSX! | GalaxyRootS3.com Every thing was going well until step 11. when it wouldn't boot into CWM Recovery or even stock recovery. I tried re rooting it again using the same method but still got stuck on that step. I tried doing a different method as well on windows using Odin and CF Auto root, but Odin didn't recognise my phone. Any help or suggestions would be widely appreciated
Thanks in Advance

Hmm ... found something.
Here is a thread about rooting a similar device: [CWM] [Root] Samsung Galaxy Star Pro Duos GT-S7262.
But IDK if this will work for your phone too.
So better ask in the rooting Q&A thread before flashing anything.
If this won't work for you, you can ask your question in the General discussion > Questions and Answers forum.
Or in the Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

The mission of XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance. This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.
Our XDA Assist team will give you links to threads/forums that are relevant to your problem. You may be pointed towards guides and instructions that can be quite complex, so you will still need to read carefully and be cautious before attempting to make software changes to your device. It is essential you are in the correct forum for your device model; what works for one can ruin another.
