I'm pretty sure he's wanting others to express the reasons exactly why lollipop is not working out well for them. Such as for myself I can't send any texts or do much on lollipop with clean flashes at all but I can do everything just fine in KitKat.
If people make meaningful posts about the issues they're having on lollipop the devs can have attention brought to the issues and hopefully fix the issues or continue some side dev on kitkat for those of us who can't/refuse to use lollipop so we aren't left in the dark.
Being able to speak fluent English may make communication easier, but we also need to be mindful that this is a worldwide forum, and some users literally don't have the easiest way to communicate back with us as language barriers do exist, even with Google Translate.

Imo lollipop others a great deal WITH the right kernel. Mine outscored the $amsung S5,etal. No stuttering whatever. I use Elemental X kernel. I did a complete clean install after Lollipop 5 when I went to 5.01. I also use nova prime as a launcher, as most do, which is a far smoother launcher. I'd never go back to kitkat now even though B4 the last update I was.

Because when you flash the zip, the script entirely wipes /system
You can flash individual mods. As to extracting them from a rom, I am sure you could. Check the apps forum for smaller mods.

This isn't a question for devs. Its a question for anyone.
When mods are made, they often include code changes in multiple places. These code changes are called dependencies.
Some mods won't have dependencies and can be flashed. Other mods included in ROMs that do have dependencies, yea you'll need to flash the entire ROM.

What you don't seem to understand is that your question is very basic. Yes, a dev will know the answer. A dev will also be able to tell you how to turn the volume down. Just because a dev knows the answer doesn't mean its a question for a dev to answer. Your questions are very basic and everyone knows the answer except you.

Because that isn't a ROM, that is a slight modification to a single file.

Problem here is: First: I've thought that I can put my question here at XDA to people I wan't to. OK. My mistake if this is not correct. Second: My question was maybe very basic for you, for me it's not. I wll be a little more specific: I have flashed Cataclysm on my Nexus 5 and I noticed just few things that dev of this rom changes and almost all other stuff is intact. I like quick toogle settings and Reboot option in Power menu - nothing else. And I don't won't flash entire rom just for getting that. So I'm thankful for lethargys answer, but not your. So I don't warn you, If you have some clever thoughts about situation, please feal free to parcitipate or just stay away and look for yout own bussiness if you still didn't got it.

Can you guys compare this to something more uhh, popular? I guess is the word. Is it a heavily modded AOSP ROM? Like AICP? I'm on the dreaded BrokenOS right now and it is incredibly stable, but it's 6.0. I would jump to Nougat if it was similar. Can someone give a quick review of it? Features, lag issues, any camera issues, does the notification light work properly? Things like that. Thank you.

In the amount of time you wait for someone to spoon feed you your required information, you could have downloaded it, installed and be running it and find out how this works for you.
I have no idea why so many people are so afraid to try something for themselves. If this be the case then flashing is not for you... or is it just most of you have become that lazy.

Maybe because I flashed 5 ROMs in the last week...clean flashes, and I wanted to avoid setting up another ROM that I never heard of, with no change log or feature list, or bug reports that I could find. For example, ambient display is not working, deal breaker for me. Thanks to those who were constructive in this thread so far. Carry on.

I have flashed 5 roms in a day... if it has become too much for you or you do not know about methods where you can flash a rom and restore all you data in a matter of minutes, you are not doing it right. Then again, maybe flashing it not for you.

Some of us actually need everything to work on their phones instead of being a first adopter. Get off your high horse and stop derailing what was actually turning into an informational thread.

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely stick with AICP for now. I've been rolling with the nightlies on that ROM for 10 days or so and every day seems to make progress.

If u don't know how to unlock the bootloader, u may not want to install twrp, do some reading up first

i didn't mean that.. ? i didn't disrespect anybody..maybe my way of writing was wring... okay i admit my guilt and forgive me but i didn't mean in a rude way.. i just made a wish which is allowed i guess..i used "please" that doesn't mean ordering rather it means a request... whatever i admit my guilt and Don't wanna proof myself as arrogant..sorry once again

Hey man don't worry about it, it's all good! Its hard to grasp the tone in which someone is saying something by reading just text.
Everyone is basically saying the device is still very new so give it some time!!
The people who make things like TWRP are people just like us. They have families, jobs, etc. So give them the time they need to develop and in the meantime we can do some reading/learning on how things work so maybe one day we can create something to give back to the community!!

yes i also understand.. but i was asking for a rom whenever the development will start..i didn't say i need it now or do it for me..these kind of things are showing attitude ???
It's ok dude. No heart feelings. Of course we all love to flash roms, we all are "flashaholics".
We'll be patient and let developer do their magic with no rush.:good:

No real harm done. People reacted the way they did because some devs get upset about requests and eta posts, and some have quit xda in frustration over users pestering them for updates.

Sorry mate. That's not helpful to me. I used the same app to unlock my 5T without any problem.
My question is why not op6...

Sorry mate. That's not helpful to me. I used the same app to unlock my 5T without any problem.
My question is why not op6...

Unlocking the bootloader is the same process, flashing twrp is not
