[Q] Working Recovery for Verizon (GC-120) Variant? - Galaxy Camera Android Development

Hey all, I know its a shot in the dark for the GC-120 around here, but I did manage to get the thing fully rooted and I'm wondering if there is a working recovery for it. Some searching around seems to suggest CM is working great on the non-verizon variants but was never confirmed for the GC-120. If theres a working TWRP version out there, I'd be ok with that too.
If anyone has info or can link to some assistance for us 120 users, it would be greatly appreciated :good:
If there is a nice bloat-free custom rom that will work for it, I'd love some guidance there too.

[Q] Roms compatible with Sharp FX plus? (ASD1)

Hello XDA,
I have bought a new android device for myself today, the Sharp FX Plus (Model: ADS1) and I've been browsing on the site to find some compatible roms; But no luck. I've used the forums before to successfully root and put a rom on my ASUS tablet with no issues, but this one is a mystery. Is there a thread with what roms are compatible with my phone or has nobody ever really looked into this phone? I've tried to google it with no luck, either. The phone is already rooted, I got that far, I just can't find any roms that are 'confirmed' compatible with it.
Thanks to whoever replies!
P.S. I'm slightly new to the whole custom rom thing - but I do somewhat understand the basics.
metoo!
I too have a sharp fx plus ads1. I have my phone rooted but am having no luck finding a custom rom. I understand it is kind of an entry level android and maybe out of date but it has all the capabilites I need. I also know enough to root my phone and install a rom but not good enough to actually create my own custom rom. Is there anyone that has the time and enjoys doing so that would help out with a custom rom for these phones? I found a page that mentioned updated to 3.2 with a new rom but there was no link for the rom so I'm thinkning it was a fake. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

EDIT: I posted in Misc Android Development section here, trying to put the information in a centralized area for any potential development on this device.
Recompiled the CM7 Kernel as a test using the device's config.gz, working on getting the CM7 source to go (its being tricky lol). I have a test CyanogenMod 6.1.2 ported from a Z71 that runs, as well as a modded stock 2.2.2 ROM. A "dirty-port" test of a Z71 CM7 rom boots with some mods (no radio, networking, etc..) - so there may be some hope for this lil thing!
Hope that helps

[Q] Samsung S Relay 4G OK but Tmobile crap

Dear Experienced Users,
I have rooted my Samsung S Relay 4G SGH-T699 (previously unlocked and can use any sim) - I used CWM recovery, etc.
I love this phone.
The only problem is I want to get rid of all the T-Mobile branding crap, especially the Wifi Tethering Problem.
My experience: I use ODIN to flash, I also use ADB and SU. I also love experimenting
Is there some modified stock rom which has a tethering fix? The splash screens I can get rid of using other means.
I would really value some advice - I know you guys are all geniuses!!!
Best regards,
theartistisblue

There are threads with debloated Stock images. There's also some custom image alternatives (Such as CyanogenMod 10.2, and new betas of CyanogenMod 11.0) Just have a look through the forums here, they're not hard to find.
Thanks

Please, Please - could you point me in the right direction? I find Cyanogen a bit alien... I'd prefer a debloated thing.
I really need help. I will even pay

[Q] Help - Stuck in TWRP 2.5

Hi, I'm pretty new to android flashing etc but a while ago I installed CromiX with TWRP 2.5 recovery.
I'm now looking to upgrade to Lollipop as I've seen some people manage it. To do this though I've found I'll have to upgrade TWRP to the latest version. Can anyone give me any guidance on this because I'm seriously struggling and everyone's using apps that aren't available any more.
How do I go about upgrading TWRP on my TF300T (for noobs)?
I'd happily skype someone if they were kind enough to help me through it quicker.
Thanks a lot guys.

Samsung J100H: Any Custom ROMs Available?

HEY GUYS MIND ASKING , IF ANY OF YOU HAVE FOUND A CUSTOM ROM FOR SAMSUNG J100h ?? so far ,, after i awaited for 3 months ++(i took a nap) , i already manage TO ROOT , FLASH CUSTOM RECOVERY and STOCK ROM for SAMSUNG J100h ... but now i need A CUSTOM ROM ,, thanks for the help ,,
I'm in exactly the same boat - J100H, rooted and custom recovery - and I've been waiting since July for a custom rom, but I've not found anything. One dev was going to try and get CM12 up and running, but he had to abandon the project because he had too much other work on. He's the only one I knew of who was even looking at it. Its a low spec phone and it has a funky chipset so I don't think any of the devs are that interested in it. You can always flash the Xposed Framework and then install some modules into that to make some customizations. I did, and that's probably as good as it's going to get for the time being.

Well If you do manage to port it, I'll test it for you! We aren't the only people looking for one, so you should have plenty of takers. I looked at porting it myself, but I haven't don it before and the different chipset really put me off. Was out of my league tbh.
