After wipe i can't mount usb storage

Hi all, i have a huge problem. Yesterday i wiped everything in my rom with cwm, wiped data, sd, cache, dalvik and system. I saved on my pc a folder with some files i need to flash and some backups. I would like to mount the usb storage from the recovery, put the files in and flash normally through cwm. BUT, and there is a but, my phone is perfectly view by the pc (it says also Nexus s in periferical) but doesn't see the drive when i mount the usb storage? Do you know why? Is not a problem of drivers, because the phone is perfectly seen. Now i can't boot, because i don't have a SO, and i can't mount the usb storage from cwm. Is there a method to flash roms .zip from fastboot? I'd need the .img file, not the .zip ones. How do i solve?
Thank you very much
I solved by downloading the factory images from google and flashing them from bootloader

[Q] Help! My internal storage is dead!! No access!

Hi community,
I have my Nexus 5 since 2 Days. Now it cant find the internal storage.
U dont talk about usb, mount at mass storage etc. NO
My Phone didnt recognize the internal storage.
So i can boot it, but can not access.
What i have done:
- its odex stock rom
- open bootloader
- root SuperSU
- Recovery TWRP latest
Until then everything was fine.
Then I tried to mount my USB storage with TWRP.
I know now its not possible..
But I would not give up so I installed CWM latest to try it.
->
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash recovery cwm.img
fastboot erase cache
After that i navigated to "mount option" and try to mount and unmount all of this buts not working.
So i flashed back to twrp and reboot my phone.
Now the phone has booted, but the internal storage was not recognized.
In addition, there is no GSM / LTE connection.
Because I can not access the storage, I can not f the recovery
So my question:
How does the phone get back access to the memory?
Thank
Try format data and data/media (sdcard) from recovery. If that doesn't work, you may have to flash the factory images from fastboot. In either case, your data will be wiped.

Since you´ve messed up your internal storage, I suggest you to flash a factory image and to hope for the best

What to do?
O wont fail again.
Flashing a factory image is very simple, have a look at eg. this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2513701

"CM Lockscreen has stopped" turns OPO into bootloop, how to backup /sdcard to pc?

"CM Lockscreen has stopped" turns OPO into bootloop, how to backup /sdcard to pc?
I got the "CM lockscreen has stopped" message, and now my phone keeps rebooting. I can put the phone into stock recovery mode and maybe fastboot mode(yet to try). All i wanted now is to backup all my files in internal storage before "sideload" the older firmeware(33R) to fix the phone.
I just learned how to use adb and fastboot.
in stock recovery mode------> apply update-----> adb, only "adb sideload mode" is allowed, i can't use adb pull command in here.
Question is: How to backup all the files in internal storage(/sdcard) to my pc.
should i just sideload the older firmware and fix the rebooting issue first?
but i am worrying this method won't works or the internal storage will get formatted.
Thank you
Just flash a custom ROM using TWRP. Your files won't be erased from internal sd card.
No need to use fastboot. Don't forget to wipe in twrp.

But i didn't install TWRP on my phone. To install TWRP now, i think i have to unlock the bootloader first, but this will wipe all the data(including internal sd scard). Am i right?

[Q] Format in TWRP then flash off USB ?

I would like to completely wipe my phone and re-flash. Of course I am already rooted and running a custom ROM. My question is, is it safe to boot into TWRP and do a nandroid backup to my USB-Drive (OTG). Then do a system reset and ALSO FORMAT DATA so all is gone. Then can I flash from my USB by mounting it in TWRP and flash my ROM from the USB drive since the internal memory will be wiped clean.
So basically this:
1. Boot to TWRP
2. Mount USB
3. Backup to USB
4. Factory Reset Wipe ALL Dalvik Cache / Cache / Data / Internal Storage / System
5. Format DATA ( i.e. ..data/media )
6. Flash ROM ( from USB )
7. Reboot
*** UPDATE - I just tried the above and found out it wont work. When I try to backup to the USB from within TWRP, it gives an ERROR it wont create the folder on the USB.
Could someone PLEASE help me figure out how to completely erase my internal memory/storage and then be able to FLASH a new ROM from USB via TWRP. My USB is all set and mounted and the ROM is there. Basically my concern is I want to do a nandroid backup first but since I am wiping DATA and all internal, I dont want to wipe the backup also ...
Thanks for info.
